If we talk about maximum profitability, the ICO has a very high chance of making good money, but at the same time there is a very high risk
it is not the best way to invest. most of ICO have no future when the coin is included in the list at some exchange. you will be completely blindly after investment into casual ICO without appropriate vision and hardworking team behind it. though they are original projects therefore everything that matters, is that ICO type in which you invest.

Nope.ICO is the best way to lose your money if the project is fraudulent and the team doesn't meet their ICO targets.Your investment is basically gone if the ICO fails.You cannot predict anything actually.It's literally a hit or miss situation.

Nope it is risky as we don't know if the devs are serious in making their projects longterm. Other devs no longer continue their projects after their coin's ICO meaning they scammed investors so it is better to seriously check the backgrounds of any coins.
I think it's better to wait till the ICO finishes and wait for the market to dictate the price cause most of the time ICO tends to hit below ICO price when its listed to exchanges.
