I think it seems reasonable to assume that (if everything checks out). I still hope Bittrex will release ICO escrow fund release conditions.

Bittrex is a solid site with decent volume. Im investing because i think trex has done most of the due diligence for me.

Do I smell fish?
I participated in quite a few ICO's up to now, even when I had doubts most of times the developer could reassure me it was safe by giving information that convinced me to participate.
The idea behind the project looks great but we don't seem to know who we are dealing with.
-> Name is fake? Unlike other projects like Lisk, Waves, Bitland, etc. where we do know the funder and team members
-> No GitHub as mentioned before but "closed source" = easy to say when you have no code at all?
-> Funder not keeping any coins so less incentive to make it succesful
-> Delisted from icocountdown.com
-> As mentioned before: why a self moderated topic if you have nothing to hide?
-> How is ICO at Bittrex organised? What must be accomplished before the funds are released?
-> Will there be a working Edoncoin wallet right after the ICO?
-> Will Bittrex hold the devs ICO funds until there is a working wallet for the participants?
So many questions, so little answers...
And I think I'm not the only one who won't just throw BTC at an ICO without clearing this up.

EdonCoin is a beautiful concept on the paper and I love many things in it.
But, what can you tell us to proove that it's not a scam ?

- no proof that the coin is save
- no proof that it will even work
- only some graphics and a whitepaper
- self moderated topic (if this post gets deleted, you know they're hiding something)
- ICO for what?

It looks like a dev is in trouble if he keeps coins and people hate him for that, and if he does not keep coins he is in trouble and people hate him for that.

hmm...to me it looks quite scammy, can anyone show anything that woud change this perception. Is there any proof of official collaboration with Bittrex, known identity of dev, escrow or anything that would make investing less risky???

Dev can buy max 5% of the coins via the ICO.
They will have all the BTCs of the ICO for dev, incentive marketting, etc....

there's no way to check if dev is buying more at the ico using different accounts or let other people buy on his behalf
