it's true that while being able to eradicate fraud in the ICO world, ICO certainly will be many who will enter again to invest, so my hope for this year until the coming year is that ICO retainer can be reduced

I don't know what you mean when you said "chance" cause ICO is still alive at the moment. There are still investors wanna invest in ICO projects although number of investor decreased a lot because of bear market. I think when bear market come to an end, ICO will become much better.

I was thinking the same thing. Yes, there are ICO scams but I believe the overall decline in the crypto market is affecting ICO growth in a big way.

I still believe true projects still can do their ICOs in this bear market with these examples. For that there should be huge community that have believe on project. We can see so many projects that have great concepts but fail because if these market condition. But well planed projects still can be survive.

With the growing popularity of cryptocurrencies and the increase in the number of ICO, the number of scam projects has also increased. Investors who are accustomed to the fact that in 2017, most of the projects came out with a huge profit, began to forget about caution and suffered huge losses. Today again, safety comes first, and recent sales of BitTorrent and Fletch.AI confirm that the interest of investors is still high.
Ftech is simply manipulation from the Binance exchange. I do not think this coin is special and that someone will need it
Lol if binance has been manipulating the market and you can try to prove it right now. Never you to accuse something if you don't have any proof about that. I have participated in the FET ico and so far i have sold all of my coins and get 5x from there.

The era of ICOs might have actually come and go if I may say. From recent ICO results it's very clear to say that ICOs are in a long way from surviving again. But of ICO platforms can be reformed and runned by reputable company. For insurance like the binanace launchpad, every of the ICO they have run is always successful. If ICOs are structurally reformed, then there's still a chance of survival.

It could only have chances if they'll give profit assurance to all participating investors but if it won't, they surely not giving a chance to succeed. Since there is in regulatory board assign to filter projects and to stop fake project, investors will keep thinking about negative on ICO.
Hope this could be resolve in the future and bring investor's trust into them.

Ico in the future I think there will be very few projects that will succeed after 2017 ICO was born and attracted investors, but due to the strong growth of the market, investors are racing to ico without being selective. Good projects. So the future will help investors identify and control ICO and invest properly and safely.

I don’t it is over for ICOs , even at that time you thinking it is over , that is when it gets bigger . There are still lots of good ICOs for investors and if it’s difficult for you to point out which one of them is reliable/good, there are sites where you can visit to get list of good and trusted ICOs in the market. But you still have to make your research, don’t be too fast to trust anything you see.

we see if in the future many ICO projects prove their success and their projects really work, of course, it will be an attraction for investors to return to investing in the ICO and I hope that fraudsters will decrease and we look forward to ICO projects that are truly responsible and provide the best quality.

After several investors became victims, they are now more careful to join the ico, even though in 2017 there were many investors who benefited, only in 2018 there were many scammers who made fake ico so that the victims were investors.
Yeah, who guys lost money in the ico project they normally never go to invest money without research. I invest several project majority of the scam and some still unable to reach exchange for few legal issues that's my frustration. But i believe still in the bearish market some project going to huge successful. I participating most of the music streaming and energy based platform and those are the best trending project ever.

Oh yes. As I see now, only few ICOs are onboard compared to the past year's number. But I can see those who are in here are most likely good ones. People have learned how to filter out bad ones among the good ones.

In general, today it is possible. Only in order to successfully save the process itself, we need to very carefully disassemble the system to identify fraudsters. Today it is a hole through which a huge amount of funds flows successfully.

ICOs as a phenomenon will survive but many existing ICO projects will get bankrupted. Wolf from Wallstreet Jordan Belfort was right about ICOs
Quote
“Promoters are perpetuating a massive scam of the highest order on everyone. Probably 85 percent of people out there don’t have bad intentions, but the problem is, if five or 10 per cent are trying to scam you, it’s a disaster.”

I think ICO will always survive and i think now there are so many good ICO projects. Many investors also know where they should invest and always be careful when choosing a ICO project.
Of course everything will be fine. but I think it will be only a few years. in 5 years the tokenization will already be fully implemented and only the most universal projects will remain

I also agree. It is still not a good year for ICO. They are just a pump and dump thing nowadays. ICO will be better again after the ETF approval is settled. For now, we need to be more vigilant because there are still lots of scam ICOs.

After 2017 max ICO profits, ICO has since then been a high target for scammers but alas ICO will still survive on the long run ,bitorrent and fetch.ai has proven that, many investors are now getting smart and extremely more careful ,its really a good thing ,before we know it the scam rate will get lower and scammers won't make a dime from ICO anymore. I think action speaks more than words,no one wants to lose money to scam projects anymore so they are forced to learn how to spot good projects to invest in. Warning doesn't work but investors losing money does makes them learn.
the chances are always been there for the development but a lots of people will upset from the investment on ICO it will be the most important things to survey because the investors will not need help with the investment then the new currency will not be developed at any time that's why this field can develop will be in doubt.
