i am very interested in with projects which pays the dividend for the investors. that proves they have a big responsibility with their projects. Spectre project is one of these projects.

I didn't know that there exist ICOs that paid out dividends. This can be interesting if it is a legit project and I would prefer to receive the dividend in fiat.
The problem will be finding such a legit ICO that pays out a (nice dividend) and that can grown in the next couple of months/years.

https://www.blockshipping.io/ (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.31330662) is one of the most interesting ICOs that pays dividens (or revenue sharing). The revenue sharing stems from usage of their token in the shipping industry, where they aim to become the most used platform = lot of revenue --> lots of revenue sharing!

So here comes the ico's that pay dividends. I want your opinion on them. Would getting your dividend in any altcoin be good enough, or would you prefer a straight out flat percent of company profits in btc?

It is very dependant question on the type of cryptocurrency business model and also on the liquidity of an asset. If you get dividends in ETH for example would be ok, but if you get in TaaS or any other low volume and liquidity coin you will eat a lot from the market orders especially if you happen to be a whale.

By joining the ICO, you are contributing money to a project, and what you get is the number of shares corresponding to your investment. And of course, the profit you get will depend on the potential of each project.

That's actually a fair reply

Both doesn't work especially for iconomi because the team has decided to change the business plan and then all of the investors are pulling away their investment and then they are moving to another project.
Taas doesn't even complete its promise. Basically pos coin such as neo was becoming the best choice compared with index fund.

I know some good ico that paus dividen. But it is too risky because sec will take it down if they cacth them.
This ico will pay you dividen by holden their token :
1. Spectre.io = they have 2 token first one is spectre token dividen and you will get paid by holding the token. Second is spectre token utility you will not get dividen but can get benefit from their platform.

Sharpe capital is paying some kind of monthly dividends, but to receive the dividends ( in ETH) , it is not enough to only keep your SHP coins into the wallet , you also need to make some predictions about the crypto and stock market.
This month, the average payment was 2-4 cents( depending of the quality of the predictions) for each SHP, and the current price for 1 SHP is only 0.33$ .

One of the coins that is giving year dividends is modum. They have a great product with a successful team and some great investors behind the project. If I am not wrong the dividend should be 6-8% every year, but I am not sure.

Your best bet will be to find casino tokens, there were several icos like that just some months ago, I do not know what happened to them but some of them were established casinos so they should have paid some dividends already, personally I think there are very few coins which will be able to pay significant dividends and if we take into account most alts do not last long then it is better to invest in a coin with a great future even if it does not pay any dividends.

It should be taken case by case, not in general. Every dividend paying ico has its own quirks and perks. Depending on the project I might accept their own tokens or eth/btc dividend pay...

Is this not a case of the distinction between a security and a utility toke? A company that promises and pays dividends with a ceo. If so then in order to get investment from the USA you will need to register with the SEC and that comes with a whole bunch of regulation. Regulation most ICO's are choosing to ignore by excluding American and Singapore investors. So an ICO that pays dividends could maybe work but I'm not sure there are too many out there willing to take on the burden of regulation at the moment

I think that ICO's that pays dividends is great idea in basic, but the project must have sustainble and stady rise in all aspects to achieve and maintain paying dividends.
