NVO will pay dividends to their shareholders once their decentralized exchange is operational.
Tokens are very cheap right now. You can only buy them via Counterparty right now but they will get a lot more expensive when they get available on other exchanges so it's worth the effort (but XCP on Bittrex or somewhere else -> send to counterparty wallet -> Buy NVO with XCP)

Currently Taas is the best candidate to this. They announced they are gonna give out their first dividends on ETHER! Not their own token but Ether, man! That is huge deal. Look at it please.

I saw something about waves. You can lease your own waves and get some profits with that. I think it´s an interested option for someone that have waves coins.

That's a bit different, it's some delegated staking thing.

This topic is pretty interesting. Dividents are even better then PoS mining because you guarantee the profit. But in several countries there will be legal issues with dividents.

There is a new project called mass that has just had it's presale. The ico begins soon.

Mass invests the ether that was put in during the ICO into alt coins and pays dividends on profits made.

this now the bes coin use deviden is iconomi and taas coin, and 2 coin is good price and good volume transaction too
another is same with deviden is sonm,, but this now sonm price is not good
Currently SONM at 1700 sat or increased 17% from yesterday, looks like it will increase more and more until it reached ICO price. More you have the token, you can get more deviden by holding the token, it means this is the good time to buy more SONM because they are still cheap

So here comes the ico's that pay dividends. I want your opinion on them. Would getting your dividend in any altcoin be good enough, or would you prefer a straight out flat percent of company profits in btc?

The problem that dividend system coins will not get on any exchange

And that means it will never reflect the full value due to low volume. Investors want liquidity in their coins. I think this is why we don't really see actual dividend payouts.

To be honest I'm pretty burned out of ICO I feel like these people don't deserve our money and they just use it as a get rich quick scheme. If it fails they have not really lost out on anything

They cash it out and laugh all the way to the bank. How is that fair? There is no accountability

Its very difficult for any serious project to pay dividend as it opens them up to problems with organisations like the SEC. Exchanges won't want to list them and they will themselves get into a legal nightmare. I think buybacks are a much easier solution to dividend then the money paid just results in a higher price instead.

If however they could somehow overcome these problems, then getting paid in the alt itself or in btc doesn't matter because you could then just trade them.

I know some, but none of them paid anything so far.

-TaaS, a fund claim they will pay quarterly dividens.
-Sonm, supercomputer thing. They failed a bit.
-iDice, casino project claimimh to make profit share.

None of them paid dividends so far, if you know any, please list so.

Does not the payment of dividends set the ICO alike securities? This is a violation of the law. Is not it so?

It seems that if coins are securities, an ICO is not necessarily violating the law, but it would be subject to laws governing securities.
