So here comes the ico's that pay dividends. I want your opinion on them. Would getting your dividend in any altcoin be good enough, or would you prefer a straight out flat percent of company profits in btc?

The ICO I promote in my signature will give dividends to holders. For existing projects, there is COSS which is very good...

There are few list that I know but since most of them are finding it very hard to get listed on majpur exchanges they tend to change it to buyback and burn, ICONOMI and SONM did this. The only token I can say has stick closely to their dividends payment is Taas, a quarterly payment and it has really worth it because the fund has grown significantly more than I initially though

Taas is the best one yet. They just announced that they will pay 28 cents per Taas token. This will be their first time paying dividend.
I need to check others. I think Nvo is still developing. They didn't announce any dividend yet.

Don't hold me to this but I did read in the Envion thread the other day that they are going to offer ETH as rewards for holding their token. Not sure exactly how that is going to work, and how that isn't a security but somebody claimed that in their main ANN. Would look into that before getting some tokens but worth noting as well.

Yes, envion is dividends coin but they didn't mentioned yet when they are going to pay the dividends. Right now the price of envion is below the ICO price and based on the profits they are going to share dividends in the form of ETH.

There are different ways by which you can earn dividends in the crypto space by HOLDing a cryptocurrency. However, these differ from currency to currency because each has its own way of operating and has its own rules and regulations.

Some of the most popular ways that actually pay you dividends are:

Staking-Holding a Proof-of-stake coin in a special wallet.
HOLDing– Buying and holding a crypto in any wallet.
Based on these different types, I am listing a few cryptocurrencies that I think are worth holding because of their bright future and also to earn passive income in the form of dividends.

Ticker Symbol – NEO
Annual Return – Approx 5.5%
Staking Wallet – NEON wallet (or you can choose to stake NEO wallet from here)
Profit Calculator – https://neotogas.com/?p=profit

Ticker Symbol – KCS
Annual Return – Varies according to exchange trading volume
Staking Wallet – MyEtherWallet or Any ERC-20 Wallet
Profit Calculator – https://kucoinshares.com/

Ticker Symbol – BCO
Annual Return – Varies according to exchange trading volume
Staking Wallet – CryptoBridge DEX

Ticker Symbol – NEBL
Annual Return – 10 %
Staking Wallet – Neblio qt (Windows, Mac, Linux)
Profit Calculator – Nebliostats

Ticker Symbol – KMD
Annual Return – 5 %
Staking Wallet – Agma Wallet & Swing Wallet
Profit Calculator – Komodo Support

Ticker Symbol – PIVX
Annual Return – Approx 4.8%
Staking Wallet – PIVX Desktop Wallets for staking
Staking Calculator – http://pivx.cryptonode.co/
Masternode DIY guide- Staking Guide

Ticker Symbol – NAV
Annual Return – Up to 5 %
Staking Wallet – NAV Coin Desktop Wallets for staking
Staking DIY guide- Staking Guide

Conclusion
Staking, holding and running masternodes in 2018 will really take off and is an excellent opportunity to get hold of some of these cheap coins to earn smart passive income by earning regular dividends. Wink

The ICO paid dividends to investors is a fairly new form for me. This has many benefits if the project develops in the long term and wants the investor to accompany the project. This is also a way to reduce the number of ICO projects on commercial sites are greatly reduced because investors sell massively to get their capital and profits. I think this is a good way to invest in ICO.
The fact is that already investors are not the ones who want to invest their money in the future in a project. They use the opportunity to buy a token at a discount and at the end of the ico company immediately sell. Thus receives 300% of the profit.

MineralCoin project offers dividends and is secured by minerals such as bauxite (think aluminum) and gold. Worth checking out!

MineraCoin.IO - their project is secured by real assets and they will share via dividends. It looks like it is traditional investing and financing with the new school of blockchain technology.

ETHbits had a very quiet ICO and such ICOs usually provide the biggest profits if the developers deliver.

You should look into the project like ETHBits where they are going to start paying dividends once the project will be running. ITs expected to be fully functional just after this year. each token as of now is worth $1 + check them here https://coinmarketcap.com/assets/ethbits/
ETHBits just is shitcoin and the volume of it very easy for control by person have 1-5 BTC in funds. In past time I have trade with this coin but after one day although I take some profit from it but I forget it soon and not see the future when holding this coin in long time.

I think TaaS is promising. However I also like ICONOMI. The problem with these dividends is how do you tax them? If you don't sell them to FIAT?

Are you US citizen? If Yes, then you can't even participate their ICO, so you shouldn't buy any coins.
If No, then there's no tax for holding crypto currencies. It depends on your country law. For my country they don't recognize crypto currencies as money so we don't pay any taxes.

No, I am from Europe.
Yeah I have to research. The US citizens are out of nearly every ICO I see. Kinda sad that there is so much regulation.
Thanks!
