you should start buy just buying and holding
I think that investing in ICO is risky, but it is also risky to trade. I think it's better to trade on the stock exchange.
Trade is way good and safier then just give your money to ICO and wait for something. But if you still wanna invest - you should research what this project presents and think by yourself - have it chance or not to be in future?
i think that trading needs experience and maybe some kind of intuition)) and also a person should have a very strong character, cause in my opinion it is the most stressful sphere of crypto. the most difficult part in taking part in ico is choosing the right project. a person should cщтвгce a very nice research before putting his or her money at risk. i would say, if you do everything right, it's much less stressful than trading. and if we talk about profits, i think it's a game of chance.. lottery

I have invested currently 5 eth in https://orbistransfer.com . Very interesting ico. Spoke with the ceo and has a good plan.
Right now most of the ico price don not drops when the new ico comes to market most of the ico coin price under base price so its good time for invest a new ico. i think right now trading and ico are better so i am going with both

I'm not a gambler at all. So I do not operate with big sums of money by trading cryptocurrencies. I prefer to invest in ICO projects that will almost certainly give an income. In a such way I make the risks minimal.
If you find beautiful ICO can save a lot of money. but it is very difficult to find good ICO on the market right now. trade gains more.
investing in ICO & to do trading both can give you enough profits, but some factors need to be kept in mind. If you are thinking to hold for long-term then investing in ICO is the best option, if you could find the best project that has no or fewer competitors. The idea of the project must be extraordinary. You should hold your coin for at least 1 year if you want to gain a handsome amount of profit. For trading you need some knowledge of it, you should know how to read the charts, you can find online many tutorials on youtube for it. First, start trading with fewer coins till you are satisfied & gain confidence in yourself that you can now do trade with more amount of coins. If you do any mishap while you are trading initially you could end up losing your coins, build your trading skills steadily by doing trade with fewer coins.
That is how you get the most money out of a project. Investing in the coin and doing their bounties can maximize profits. In my opinion, the market start to recover, it is still a good time to buy some altcoins since they are very cheap now, when the market getting warmer, you will obtain big profit.

These days most of the ICOs are facing tough time to complete. But good ICOs are going cool no issues. before investing please check the project, team and white paper.

I think that the ICO is much nore risker becuase thier are some ICO that has not have any product yet unlike in the trading becuase in the trading you have already a working product all you just need to do is to wait for your profits

if you have the ability in trading is better for trading because it can generate daily profit
but it is not advisable for you if you do not master the market for trading may be you sebdiri who will lose your money
Another option is to follow the ico that you believe is a good prospect but it will take a long time to wait to enter the market
though so surely you get a profit from the ico is because you buy it from the cheap price definitely benefit
follow that according to you master and adjust your own capital
choose a decision that you think is good
in my view, you have to learn and remember the fundamental trade, not just lose your money to ICO, because you also have a lot of time. In the future, the Merchants will be much more perspective.
You should better just search this questions on forum, it may save your time. There are many threads with answers that you want to know. Nobody wants to repeat every new guy about all already know.
To be able to trade well you need to have a lot of knowledge and experience in this field, it just will not work. But if you are less than a 30% percent profit than trading then you can safely invest for a long time

If you are new comer of this sections, then I saying to you for ICO invest. Just read details about the project, if all about ok, then go ahead for invest. But remember it, whitepaper and Roadmap is the main fact of an ICO.What needs to be prepared and cared for before starting it?

I would split my investment in three parts: one for trading, one for ICO and one to buy some coins from recent ICOs which are already on the market and with the price lower then on ICO. As you are a beginner I would advise you to allocate smaller part for the trading, just to learn first
I feel like since he is just starting, it would be better to focus on one thing, instead of 3 like you suggested, with nothing more than 20% of his total investment on crypto.
I'd say the easiest thing to do for him would be to avoid daily trading and to focus his efforts on finding a decent ICO to invest in.
The most important part is not to rush it, keep researching different ICOs for a month straight and find the hidden gem.
