I prefer to do trading than investing in ICO which is much risky, coin in ICO is not 100% will be successful and will gives you profit, i want to be sure that the coins was already in exchange before i bought the coin i know that will increase its value. But sometimes i do investing in ICO if i feel that the project would be successful.
If you have a sufficient amount of ridiculously volatile tokens that increases in huge amount of percentage in a short period of time, then you can pretty much focus on day trading or short term investment. But if you are trading coins that you might need to hodl, then ICO and trading would come hand in hand.
I want to start investing for ico and trading. Please to help from where should I start?

I think you need to do a research because there's a lot of ICO now you can choose what ever you want but the big step to join a ICO or invest is a research first of the project because some of them not have potential or some of them will be scam. You need more idea about trading and ICO because it's risky. What needs to be prepared and cared for before starting it?

I choose ICO, cause I prefer to invest in longterm rather than in short term
Trading is better option than investing in an ICO. If you want to invest in ICO then have a deep study about their team, understand Whitepaper etc. Trading is a safer option as the coin is already listed on the exchange so there is no chance of having fraud at this level. Trading requires good technical analysis skills to earn the profit in long term.
Entering in an ICO is not easy because there are scam ICO that currrently working and very deceiving and claiming that their project are interesting and very promissing but it is not because they are just scammers that is waiting for us to believe them. Great awareness in trading and ico is very important before you invest.
ICO is the best choice to get a big profit, although it takes a long time.
Why dont do both this things? Get some tokens in ICO, wait when it will be listed somewhere and start to traid. If you are good in it. If not, stay away cause you can loose your money
I think now trading is better so I will vote with the trade. Moreover most ico prices are down when new ico come to market most ico coin prices are below the base price so it is a bad time to invest new ico. But if you can do a second no problem
to start trading we do not need much preparation, we just need to see the market that's my opinion, but to follow ICO we need to read the whitepaper they spend and look for the project information they launched so we are confident with ico to be followed
Invest now is the best time.Etherium is at crazy low price and it will come back one day again at 1000.

Why wait for one when you can do both. ICO would be for a long term investments while trading would be for daily profit n expenses.
This is very individual. In the case of such a market as it is now probably more profitable to buy after listing on the exchange. Too not a stable situation in the market.

I think if you ask questions like this you should stay away of trading.
Start reading the forum. Pick some coins and invest a little. In a year or so you may think of trading.
Ico's can be very profitable from my knowledge, but recently I've seen ico's trade for less than what people bought it for... so in my opinion, ICO's are risky business. BUT they can be very profitable if they "take off" 
As for trading you can always look at history and base your trading on that. If something is down 80% then you know that there is potential to have 80% up again to new all time high. But that is risky too
so you pretty much need to find your own way
Trading is the one to earn immediately and it need you all of your time to do it while ICO its need here is your patience because you need to wait a year before you can get your profit. Both in terms of profit joining ICO is much profitable but when your in a good ICO, also both of them have risk to take but the higher risk is in the ICO. I think both are good, whether it's an investment on ICO or on trading. it's just that usually the purchase on ICO requires a minimum purchase, so it needs big funds.

I suggest you if you just know the world of crypto, choose an investment in ICO. and choose a good project. if you want to trade I think more learn and see the market price. because I experienced myself how to lose because of my panic. basically I suggest you to invest in ICO only

They are two different animals, but one thing is key, you really need to fill yourself with knowledge and have the right strategy to actually be able to succeed in those fields. For ICO investment, it's important that you have a knack for looking behind the garbage and checking those projects that could have better chances of success, since there are so many going out, it's normal that you should be able to determine which ones are good and which ones are bad. For trading, you need to have a wide collection of coins in your stash, and also, you need to check the market closely so that you would not end up doing bad trades. Both has their own pros and cons, and it's up to you to decide whether you can be able to handle them.
icos are a good way to buy cheap altcoins in the beginning. however there is a risk to loose money because sometimes they are listed on exchanges cheaper than ico price. if you are sure about the project, joining in ico stage is good but if not better to wait for listing on exchanges.
