It is good to see that there is still a lot of development on ICN. Almost forgot about it, but hoping for new highs in 2018.
New Digital Assets on the Block: Starting 2018 with Five New Digital Assets
Starting 2018 in full swing, we are adding five new digital assets for our DAA managers to choose from. Joining our digital asset list this month are Icon, Kyber Network, Loopring, Quantstamp, and Ripple.
Icon
The Icon (ICX) token is a loopchain-based smart contract digital protocol that facilitates, verifies, and enacts negotiated agreements between consenting parties within the ICON project, which aims to build a decentralized network that allows independent blockchains with different governance systems to transact with one another without intermediaries.
KyberNetwork
The KyberNetwork (KNC) token serves as a fee payment system for reserve managers of the KyberNetwork, a new system that allows instant trading and conversion of digital assets.
Loopring
The Loopring (LRC) token is used to pay fees when intermediating trust between blockchains and exchanges, allowing trading members to retain custody of their funds.
Quantstamp
The Quantstamp (QSP) token is used as a form of payment for auditing and securing smart contracts using the Quantstamp protocol.
Ripple
The Ripple (XRP) token is the fastest and most scalable digital asset, enabling real-time global payments anywhere in the world.

Iconomi's DAAs (Digital Asset Arrays) are the best option for people who want to invest to cryprocurrencies, but don't have time to daily monitor what is happening in the wild crypto market. I realized I am spending about 3 hours per day on average for day-trading and following all the news. Generally I don't mind it, actually I enjoy it, but in the next two months I will not have enough time for this activities, so I decided to invest to few different DAAs on Iconomi.
Now I have a question, what happens if one DAA manager stops updating his DAA portfolio for some reason, maybe he get's terribly ill or something? I think the best option would be to announce this to investors, maybe by email to all the holders of that specific DAA and sell that DAA asset so the user gets that currency which he used for buying, ETH for example.

what are the reasons that iconomi is not on bittrex and poloniex? However, this is the largest volumen exchange? Can someone write a reasonably rational?

Binance is perfect. But I think every new reputable exchanges will bring new investors and more liqudity. These seem good reasons to be listed on some others.

Actually the largest volume right now is on Binance, and they list new coins all the time. Polo and Bittrex are the past.

saw the medium article also and i like some of the things i read. To a point i thought Jani is deaf when the feedback from community got NO positive answers with dates, NO "that will be included in our roadmap", but looks like the fella was taking notes.
What really turns me on from the 2018 roadmap is:
Daa managers
- Possibility for risk reduction (sound good i would be curious what is the aproach?)
- Support for company accounts (very good but too long to explain why)
Platform
-Big Four audit (would be good for public image but the community knows already that iconomi is one of the most serious projects out there)
-Private DAAs (lot's of people want to invest without the attention) but still the fees go into burning iconomi
-Introduction of fees payable in iconomi (YES! utility for the ICN token)
Users
Direct purchase of individual digital assets (i hope they keep something from the initial design and the thing with 30 seconds to buy at that price is heaven, hell would be kraken to end the comparison)
Fiat ramp up (fu_k volatility just go back to euro or dollars when market is bearish. 0.5 exit fee is nothing compared to -5% a day. Of course more fees to burn ICN everytime you change to fiat)
And the least and the best
The "Debit Card" is the best, everyone wants to be to spend the crypto profits without the pain of going trough 3 day bank transfers.
I would say careful with the new web design, i really like the actual one but i see how scrolling trough all the DAAs it's not so "feng shui"

IDNOW has 1,2 stars on google rating and i think they've payed someone to give them good ratings, like really, no joke. Please find another way for identification, you are loosing lot's of tier 2 and 3 money. I tried a more then a week (9 days) more than a hour a day to get myself to tier 2 at different hours from different devices and connections with no success. Very frustrating! ARrrrrhhh!

You're right better focus on new generation exchanges and dex ones.
But also better to be listed on every high volume reputable exchanges.

Fees payable in ICN... but only will be payable in ICN or it will be in other cryptos? This coin is deflationary because of rebuying and burning agreement, that means that fees in ICN will be lower along time. I would like a more detailed explanation.
