i think it is hard to talk about legality about ICO investing nowadays, because most of ICO around the world are not recognized by government, and without any control from government it is very hard to know about legality of an ICO, bad people can use ICOs as a way to steal money from investors, so that is why most ICO are scams.

Initial coin offerings offer vast opportunities to buyers. They can take part in the token sale and be a part of the blockchain ecosystem. However, there are a number of scams happening worldwide and one should be aware of the same.

You can analyze whether a project is a scam or not in the following ways:

• Anonymous ICO Developers

• The purpose of Token Sale is not clear.

• The Whitepaper has Impractical Goals

Some ICOs are legit and some are scam. If you are a bounty hunter or an investor, you must be willing to take the risk for you to earn profit from ICOs, there is no choice but to take the risk.

Not every ASIO can of course be successful and with serious intentions to collect all the fees. But these are external problems. And then what happens to those cases when they specifically throw people that I saw rarely then precisely fraud.

You must understand that even if ICO seems legit, team is maybe good - it still maybe scam project because everybody wants to get rich, even by reputation lost

It is not right to make such generalizations. Some icos are really creating very successful projects. A lot of the coins we have seen among the best coins right now have made ico a time.
But recently we have seen a lot of scam Smiley

First of all you need to know what team members they have, search their LinkedIn links or something else, check it. If team is really small or they don't have any links on social - it's big chance to be a scam

99% of ICOs are designed for one purpose only - and that is to enrich the creator(s). In other words, yes, most of them are scams.

However, there are plenty of legit ICOs out there too. You just need to be very careful about which ones you choose to invest in. Do a lot of research in terms of the development team, whitepaper, road-map, etc. to gauge how successful you think it will be and then decide.

That's right. I think everyone knows that, and the idea that you're joining in that ICO for whatever purpose, either as an investor or as a bounty joiner, could be comparable to a small fish riding a big fish. You get the spoils but not the whole chunk of what they eat. Whether it's legit or not usually unfolds on how a project is received by people. I personally believe that many developers really want their projects to succeed and not be deemed as scams, but when it's not doing good until the very end, then they are also left with no other choice.

To be practical it is a fifty-fifty condition. There are lot of scam around the globe and there are qualified and very successful project. but be careful always because it might turn to scam after a successful project.

Many ICOs are scam. It is my opinion. But nowadays I realized that NEO based cryptocurrencies have success. I mean they were listed on binance. Well I have never invested a coin on ICO and I still see it risky. But I have some friends who made money after they invested in ICO.

there is a legit and there is a SCAM
some successful ICOs run their roadmap, investors are happy with the ROI results they get
while ICO's SCAM, has changed the reputation of cryptocurrency in the eyes of the people
we must be good at choosing ICO, if want to invest in cryptocurrency, always use experience and consideration

Cases of fraudulent ISO have recently become more frequent. Resist the ICO with poor technical documentation, with a closed team without references and experience
That are the factors which we can take a look on for to become the investors. The team often reflect much about the ICO. The developer of scam ICO sometimes get success to provide a good technical documents that is why we have not rely only on that but have to study about the other factors too so that it secure us from become fool.

There are legitimate ICOs in tge market and there are not. I say it just needs a keen eye and a good observer to actually be able to prevent yourself from getting victimized by these fake ICOs I'm talking about. On the bright side however, there are a lot of regulations being taken by certain sites to ban these fake ICOs completely or at the very least their advertisements in order to strip tgem away of the chance of victimizing others.

There are legit ICOs and there are also scam ICOs. If you want to invest in ICO, you must do your research and be wise in choosing the right one. First, look at the goal, the soft and hardcap. If these two are too large and impossible to reach, better not choose. Lastly, look at the supply of the coin, if the supply is too many, it will be difficult to have a good price.

You should really do your own research. Find a few listing sites for ICOs that you like and start there.
