Not all ICO's are scam and also not all are legit. So when you are going to apply in ICO's you better first check it's background and the people or organization behind that ICO and also check if the income is good before applying a campaign.

Hi Guys,

Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.
ANY recommended ICOs and any advise how you guys determine whether is it a legit or Scam?

Thanks in advance.
Well, there are lots of icop nopw are much good than before. Though still majority of them are still scam shit only.
So, we need to be very careful anyhow in choosing ICO that you are going invest in to multiply your capital.
Yes i agree on that we really need to be careful because criminals is everywhere some of the ICO's is scam and some of them are legit it is really hard to make sure of everything because  we are really prone on the crimes like scam in internet.I think we need to have more experience on how to make  sense about knowing the scammers to avoid being victimized buy tbose  fool who really only think for  themselve.

Every project depends on the team involved and their reputation. No project can survive without a great team. Also, look at the token distribution, if the company are trying to keep all the token to themselves and give a little portion to investors then it is scam but the best part is knowing what problem the ICO intend to solve and is it scalable?

I feel ICO is a modern ponzi scheme. Do those companies really need so much money? I think the answer is no, then there is a bubble.

I won't go as far to say that ICOs are scams (although some likely are), but that they aren't worth nearly as much as their hype would suggest.

Have you read in the news people saying that "Bitcoin is a bubble"? It's really the ICO hype that's the bubble. There's no reason for so many to exist, there literally isn't enough demand to support them all. Yet people create them with hope of creating something a fraction as valuable to bitcoin. And people (potentially like you) are intrigued and attracted to them because they missed out on the earliest years of Bitcoin and want to get in on "the next big thing" in its earliest days.

The only way that an ICO is legit and worthy of investment is if it offers something new and better than Bitcoin. It's very rare and difficult to do that. Particularly because there are already 10 or so alternatives to Bitcoin, which offer more anonymity, or some other tangible feature that's different from Bitcoin.

That's it!

would say 7 in 10 are scam ICO projects and you can predict that from the way they have represented themselves. It was very good business earlier because ideas were new and innovative so that people can believe the project and on top of that they use to make it reality after the sufficient funds have been raised. Now a days people are very greedy about the money and they will just form a fake team and publish the ICO in want that they will raise some funds and run away. So to avoid that to happen with us we should always discuss about the specific ICO on this forum. You can find many discussions going on about the ICO here from which idea can be extracted whether to invest or not.

Its really hard to determine if an ICO is legit or scam.  Before launching,  ICO tends to do everything they could just to attract investors,  but the real decision comes after the ICO ends.  Many ICOs Have succeeded,  but there are also lots where they just disappear.  Ive have been a victim many times,  even if the manager is trustworthy,  theres nothing they can do if the ICO is just a scam.

Right now there are many ICO's which are considered as scam. But still, there are few that are legits. I guess you will just have to identify which one is a scam and which one is legit through there goals and visions.

I agree, there's so many ICO's nowadays that they not pay all their participant, that's why they considered as scam. However, there's still a legit for now, so much better to do some research before we invest in any ICO's.

most ICOs are legit, ICO being a scam because their program or project is failing in promotion because no investor wants to invest one of them, so they stop midway. to choose a good ICO learn their mission vision

Usually ICOs are just becoming a scam, this is why some countries tend to ban ICOs. There were ICOs which really looks like promising, but actually also a scam.. The best way to determined wether its good for investment us to determine the credibility of the development team behind the project.

There is actually no way for you to determine immediately if the ico is a scam or not. You need to wait further for the news or comments of other users regarding to the developers and manager of the current ico before you will know if the current campaign is really reliable or not.

I guess you can also predict it rather than wait for comments from other members, because if they have a verified team and have good vision, I do not think it will scam
Agreed, and very few ico's go as a scam. In particular such scam ICO's promote themselves through messages and they won't be having anything particular as an Ann thread, road map or a different team to promote. They ping and make use of the user who responds. Such kind of activities were found much around.

The ICO currently has many projects launched every day, and every ICO has its own mission. And you need to thoroughly explore ICO information before investing to avoid risk. You need to find out more about the ICO project, refer to the ICO review pages, the project information as well as the project team members, and you can evaluate the potential of the project. rely on that information. Therefore, if you want to invest in ICO, you should carefully research the information about that ICO projects.

Like in everything, There are good and bad, some ICO's are good and very good, others bad, you just have to be careful where you invest your money
I consider ICOs (the legit ones) as being a great source of revenue. Most people would say there are too many ICOs and 99% will fail. Well, I think there is going to be competition.
