All ICO is not a legit, some scamer open a ICO so all of you, before invest check this ICO
For me there are more ICO that is legit and great to invest for, but eventhough there are many ico that is legit there are still some ICO that is not worth it to invest for, but i have a simple advice before participating or investing on some ico is make sure that it is legit and it is will be successful.

You just have to research a lot. Look into their white paper, team and ask as many questions as you can.

You never know whether the ICO is normal or fraudulent, if you don't study them in the first place. No one wants to be deceived, so it is necessary to study them. To read a White paper to examine the command, whether the finished product. How was pre ICO.

Most ICOs are intended to either fund a project or to make the developers rich. Some ICOs are scam and developers just want to get funds through ICOs and then they disappear. However, some ICOs are devoted to improve their project and are still continuing to improve their services after ICO. You just need to research before investing on ICOs.
As stated before, not all ICOs are scams, but their are 10% of ICOs that are actually legit and real projects and will benefit the community.
You will be scammed if you're careless. We can't deny the fact that most icos are scam, but if you do research and read the icos terms, the important details such as the white paper, the tokens and road map, then you can avoid scams. There are lot of legit icos too. Also, make sure that the ico you will be joining will be effective and will have good results.
Most ICOs are scams but few ICOs arent going to steal your money,review the background and whitepaper of each ICOs to be sure you wont waste your money.

Some of the scammers use the ICO projects right now. Once they reach the target amount of investment they will just stop and fade away. So I guess better to do research first on an ICO.
many people who have fell victim of ICO scam in the past will surely tell you ICO is a scam but you need to know most of them are not scam. this days many ICO are unsuccessful because of common ideas e.g Real estate ICO (many ICO with this intention have been launched in the past), coin exchange ICO. you we realized that many of the project get dump easily after crowdsales. in order to run a successful idea, you must think outside the box and that is exactly what swissborg is doing now.

They say that many of the ICO are scam so I can consider that it is risky to invest our money to the ICO. I prefer to you that before you invest your money to the different ICO you must have a lot of knowledge.Im pretty keen to understand more about ICOs and intend to invest in some.

If you are going to think of ico's that they are scammers, They are scammers if you are going to invest but always think that their coin does not really have always the chance to grow its value. Next thing is that most of the campaign are scamming like they are not giving the exact amount of payout that they should at the end of the sale.
Right now there are many ICO's which are considered as scam. But still, there are few that are legits. I guess you will just have to identify which one is a scam and which one is legit through there goals and visions.
You have to research a lot to find good ICO's.

of course at this time many ico are out and must be careful in investing money into ico because many ico that does not run smoothly as planned should be studied first before joining in ico

There is actually no way for you to determine immediately if the ico is a scam or not. You need to wait further for the news or comments of other users regarding to the developers and manager of the current ico before you will know if the current campaign is really reliable or not.
