ICOs will die slowly. look last month ICOs generally they are so dump rigth now. increasing number of altcoins give damage to crypto because real and usefull project have damage from them.

Personally, I believe that in the near future the choice of worthy ICO projects will increase, there are good prospects for investment. But in any case, the right option should be chosen carefully.

Yeah and some of them are just pure scam. Anyway, I hope menlo.one can fix this soon. They plan to filter out good and bad ICO project by using their guild community system, incentive's will be given to true and honest feedback on ICO marketplace.

There are so many ICOs coming out in 2018. Some have failed but others succeeded. Of course it also depends on the team handling it. Personally, I found a good one. It is a  question without answer until the end of the year. Everyday there will be new ones and hard to count how many are they. They may be a good one or may be scam. We need to be patient and smarkt enough to find the right ones to invvest.

Many ICO projects have an idea, but do not even have a prototype of the product. This means that they can grow several times, and then fall in price to zero...

Reading this in 2018, I'm starting to realize how much you're right) in fact, a huge number of ICO projects are pacifiers that are hardly worth anything. But among this pile there are units that can really help in many areas.

There are a shit ton of useless ICOs just popping up that dont need the blockchain tech at all but are still getting money. People are dumb...

ICO has only just begun. It is a new financing method. If it is properly supervised, if it can effectively eliminate those scams, I think ICO will have a very big development.

Well I think this year might be a very difficult year for ICOs. Along with all the problems, risks investment in ICOs had, there are newer risks now. All the cryptocurrency/ICO projects ad bans by google were a pretty bad news for the upcoming ICOs as they might have a hard time gaining popularity without those ads.

It becomes harder and harder to find trustworthy ICO, cause 95% of them are the real scammers. Every time when I go to the listing websites, I see the hords of the similar ICOs with the similar names . In January I found one project - Cryptics. I agree with your thinking but I also think that there may be some entity that is dedicated to monitoring the creation of the ICO and its progress. Let's keep faith we are at the starting point and everything that starts needs to develop.

Just as there are several ICO rating specialist platforms, there will be some plataforms dedicated to collecting information about ICO and bringing us the annual reports and their progress if it is not soon to happen.

I also feel tired sometimes of the ICO project, especially when I see that the tokens I have won have dropped their price in some exchanges although the projects I joined are good but in the exchange they fail or they need a good time for the Token get its price and value because of the hard work the developers have invested and we as the community that supports them. We must also be patient and have a look at Roadmap and check that the projects are in progress.
