Both ICO and IEO is good to me. But, since scammer use ICO to fraud people i lost my interest on it. Maybe investor felt too they dont trust ICO anymore. For now the best choice that we have is IEO. From my perspectice IEO is more safer then ICO.
I would say IEO. IEO is a big part of a project marketing site. Here his public sell is done. Where an exchanger is assigned. He has to pay a part of his price. In this public sale of a project is done very well.

Thats inevitable, I foreseen that ICO process will likely go down and it did happened. Mostly ICOs that have been launched since 2017 are now dead projects and if not already exited and claimed investors money. The problem with this set up is how easy those new projects to launch their platform, I feel that old projects that failed and scam others are just recycling another project until they can get funds and begin again with new one. A loop that has never have end. Good thing IEO enter the scene and prevent those ICO abuser with their illegal activity. Probably they hate those exchange for launching this method. Their business ended.

Ieo are upgraded version of ico only in this case only the exchange can RIP you off, if there is a good side of ieo, it maybe very little. Even we can see some ieo project that are scam.

IEO was really popular for a moment until the scammers took advantage of the hype. ICO was really popular before because of the bullrun, scammers would be there if there's a potential victims, because of the scams it gave birth to STO so developers can't run away with the money, i dont know of there's a successful STO project out there, even with IEO there's still alot of scam.We were deceived into this too. I have never seen any single successful STO. I have witnessed several of them and I noticed that even the ICO that is new in extinction is much better than STO. They come with their project, deceiving us that they already have the backing of the government. That they have legal documents from SEC or from any other financial regulatory body where they operate. Some of them presented a fake document, while some kept on posting the community that they are still working on it. In the end, they all disappeared.
Despite IEO not recorded much of successes when it comes to fundraising as compared with ICC, it is still the best, because it is more secure when done on a good exchange.

In my opinion, IEO and ICO are almost similar in the sense that a dubious project still has the ability to get away with the public funds even after holding an IEO. The IEO only increases the expenses or costs of raising funds since the exchange has to be paid for the service of assisting the project in raising funds.

First there isn't anything like hope again for ICOs, they are dead and forgotten and any project going that path will only end up wasting their time because people have had enough of their scams and not ready to give them that power again. Also, in the case of IEO, it is true we are giving exchanges more power and opportunities but what can be done when it looks like the best way, nowadays, someone can invest in an IEO on a good exchange and then decide whether to hold or not; this is entirely different from ICO. I think IEO will stay for a while until there is a more better method.

I really agree with your points, did not think this way yet! ICO and IEO are almost the same! Without a reputed exchange, IEO is doing the same like ICO projects, means no profit at all! Though IEO is more trustworthy than ICO because here exchange verifies the project and they promote it to its investors where ICO is more Anonymous means risk is high here!

They are the same, but at the same time they aren't. Both are for one purpose, organized sales for gathering funds for the project, it's how these two are the same.
The organization of sale is what makes the difference! In some way when trusted exchange runs the sale and after token gets listed it's like an easier option, with ICO's you never know will they get to some exchange in the first place!

In my opinion IEO is very popular at the moment because most users now choose IEO instead of ICO. technology is growing everyday, with the emergence of the IEO expected to be better than ICO ,which makes the crypto world more widely known and well-received to the world adoption . If you can hold an IEO on decentralised platform I think this must be abetter option insted of ICO .

It is a clear that people invest in IEOs as the platforms will evaluate the projects and give the investor the feeling of security.
Nevertheless i have observed a trend. The numbers in the ICO market have been declining but stayed fairly stable in 2019. The main reason for moving on to IEOs was the astonishing amount of scams that had flooded the market, since it was easy to make a lot of money.
This move to IEOs has something good. I believe that as harder it gets to hold an ICO as more the projects have to do to convince potential investors. Scammers want easy money and my hope is that the ICO market will come back slowly. Projects that will hold an ICO have to invest more time to convince people.
I sadly had to accept that those who scammed investors destroyed the dream of projects with little money that have great ideas. To hold an ICO and build a community of investors around it is a great way to fund your project without going to big VC firms. Unfortunately those you scammed investors destroyed the ICO market till now and it will take a lot of time to recover.
I have accepted that IEOs are currently the way to fund a project. The only thing that worries me is the power we give those exchanges. Is it really god idea to give that much power to exchanges in the cryptomarket.

For some reasons I think ICO might not come back again, this main reason is security of invested funds which ICO lacked right from inception hence giving scammers power to carry out their deadly acts, therefore this big failure of ICO only gave IEO a good growing ground to overshadow it (ICO) which IEO has done perfectly. Yes, it can't be argued that we have given exchanges a lot of power to do many things but investors see it profitable owing to the fact they don't need to worry about exit scam nor worry when the team will list the project on exchanges. My last thoughts is, anyhow we see it, IEO is a bit better than ICO both in terms of invested funds security and gains.
I think it is not about safe or security, I think it is more about knowing that the IEO will make that coin worth something in the end versus ICO has nothing to do with its price. When you invest into a new coin with ICO you don't even know if it will get listed or not, maybe it will get listed or maybe it won't but in the end you know that if you invest into a new IEO you will definitely get your money back one way or another, even if you get less than what you invested, it will be listed on an exchange for sure 100% guaranteed and then you can sell, even if for a loss, you don't have that option on ICO because it may never get listed, maybe until the release to getting listed period it will turn out that the team is a scam and you will lose all your money. So IEO gives a guarantee.

In my opinion there are hardly any genuine or good ICO available in the market. A good IEO projects also depends on the exchange that is offering. I have only used Binance Launchpad platform once for only one project because I knew that project from the initial days when it started.
I still believe the days are over for ICO and IEO and it's time to invest in projects that are self funded and have got a bright future.
These IEO projects are really few and the buying rate is really low, so it's not always fortunate to have tickets to participate. In fact, any investment is risky and you need to spend some time researching before deciding to invest. I still believe the days are over for ICO and IEO and it's time to invest in projects that are self funded and have got a bright future.
However, now IEO seems to be more reliable than ICO, so consider if a project appears at major exchanges because IEO there has never disappointed investors.
