By the way, all us of know crypto currency includes high risk.
High risk does not only mean that the coin which you bought from top can make all time low in a days.
Hack issues (also scammers) also important part of crypto market and traders/investors must accept this risk before they enter the market.
You can just reduce the risk by using cold wallet or distribute your fund to different exchanges.
We can not ignore hackers if we are in crypto.

Hacking is quite different from fraud or phishing. Hacking sometimes happen as a result of the negligence of the account user whereas it can also happen without any blemish from the account user. Once the hacker gets the correct codes to breach the security of the account, protecting login details cannot save the account.
Yeah our account get hacked with our own mistakes we are aware of all sensitivity of crypto we should remain very careful about security. Having wallet is the most important and that wallet will give you private key which is important to keep secret. it all depends, if the exchange got data breach then it's the exchange mistakes otherwise it is yours if you leak the data yourself.
Things will get complicated from that point and you will definitely waste so much time trying to get your money back and there's no guarantee it will succeed. Just dont save your money in exchange.

its better to bookmark true link, and its better to use 1 email for 1 broker account, and beware phishing link.
in my opinion, both of them made a mistake,
your mistake is that you didn't protect your account, a mistake in return for leaving the hacker free, which should prevent them from moving,

I have been a victim of hacks and I know how it feels . I lost a lot of money . Whom do I blame . I think blamed myself not even the hacker because it I was not careless to have exposed my password it would have been near impossible for them to gain access to my wallet
It depends on how the hack happened; when an exchange is hacked many users will be affected in this case, the users in question aren't to be blamed but the exchange. But if the hack is targeted towards a single user then that means the user is at fault, he might have done something wrong or visited a phishing website which stole his details. There are few steps to apply in order to secure ourselves, the first is always accessing every exchange through Coinmarketcap and secondly not keeping any funds in any exchange.
Sorry to hear for your loss, man. I know that pain. Have seen many people being hacked by some kind of malware of sort. It can be your fault for not choosing the right security precautions to keep your money safe. It can be the exchange’s fault for not being on the point or the wallet company’s failure, nobody knows. And everyone is to blame.
It is really sad to read the failure stories from the inexperienced investors, it happens no matter how educational platforms we use for educating the newcomers. For keeping safe the crypto assets, having a hardware wallet will save the account from hijackers and strong password + 2FA combination is enough for protecting the exchange account which is used for storing the crypto assets.
Who else but the account owner, if an account is hacked it means that the owner of the account was not careful enough to take the right measures in protecting the account, first you must make sure the email associated with your account and your btt both have a strong password to protect it.

Yes, 99% of these hacking incidents happen due to personal errors. That's why I suggest you keep your money on big exchanges all the time. According to Coinmarketcap, at least the top 10 stock exchanges (though CMC data is manipulated, better not look here haha).
It is also important that you use g2f and use a privacy-oriented browser like brave and have a good anti-virus program.

I agree with you . Most of the hacks are caused by careless user errors and if they do not install 2FA it can greatly affect security. I usually choose 2FA for almost all exchanges because this is the best way to make my assets safer. It is not your fault if you create an account in some exchange platform, it will only be a mistakes once you become negligence unto it.
Most of the time the account was hack only if you forgot to log out. There are 2 reason why account hack by the hacker, it is because the owner
was click some phishing site and you didn't put any on your pc to protect all important files in it. And always put your eggs in different baskets.
