Yeah maybe, bitcoin somehow has become a major part in many people's life and if bitcoin ever disappeared someday, it would be a total disaster that destroys people's dream and it might be a nightmare that haunt them for a long time. But I think the possibility of this to happen is pretty low so we don't have to worry about it much.

yes that is a fact as now people are adopting bitcoin in their lives for several activities as i personally using bitcoin for mobile refill and for paying utilities bill. so to me bitcoin is not going to died so easily, i think it is getting more and more stronger from time to time.

And that is now what does people who doesn't adopted bitcoin earlier on its starting days. The same thing it will happen if bitcoin dies tomorrow.

Many will regret that they have holdings in their wallet with a lot of bitcoins thinking that bitcoin will be strongest among other coins.

And this kind of event is just likely to happen when no one is already using bitcoin.

I don't think you will be able to move to another coin since if Bitcoin should die, it will be the last to kick the bucket. Bitcoin is not going to die on its own, after 8 years of hardcore existence this is hardly possible at all. On the other hand, someone, or rather something (say, some rogue government), may try to kill it after all. Should they succeed (and this is a big if and highly debatable per se), do you really think that other virtual currencies are going to survive it?

You will surely have nightmare if you have lots of bitcoins especially to those who hold almost thousands of bitcoin. Dreams will surely vanished and possibly there would some people who do suicide on this case but still i wont believe that bitcoin will die anytime soon. Its already progressing and the adoption is increasing everyday.

If bitcoin die tommorow? Honestly i will going to be sad and feel frustrated. Bitcoins helps me a lot and so on with the other users. Bitcoins are already part of the others lives..but i think bitcoins will never die.. bitcoins can be a future digital money so i think bitcoins will live as long as all people are depending on money. Altcoin can also be a good alternative for bitcoins!

Buy lots of cheap bitcoin, and start mining.

Well full chance that it may not recover if it fall back. Infact the new alt coins will rise in such situations and we may have better feature than bitcoin. So chance is there that China may bank bitcoin if such fall takes place
