My government still doesn't have any regulations for bitcoin, I sell them and take money without any problem's. I don't see that they doing anything in that question, I'm not sure how much they are aware of bitcoin existence.
For now and for some next period I have nothing to be afraid of, but even in case they forbid me to use hitcoins, like others I would try to find a way to do it.

Presently in America, we are seeing a sudden turn to basic common law. This common law is not the description that the courts have decided it means. This is the REAL common law, the common law of the people. It is expressed through the jury.

If Government ever comes after you for anything and takes you to court, if you demand it, they have to have an injured man or woman against you. The injury has to be for real. They have to prove it was you that did the injury. It is basic law.

If Ross Ulbricht had demanded this, there would be no way Government could have brought a person that Ross had harmed onto the stand and prove that Ross had done the harm.

In addition, an informed jury can overrule any law in America. It's called jury nullification, and it was recently used for the benefit of the people here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bundy-brothers-acquitted-in-takeover-of-oregon-wildlife-refuge-1664078 and here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/justice-is-done-oregon-patriots-acquitted-1664275.

In fact, when you study jury nullification, if enough juries nullify a law, the law has to be repealed.

Cool

Government doesnt care about bitcoin nowadays, their focus is to win the elections, if something like that happens well i dont care, the most choises that those people does makes results just into more taxes. Banning bitcoin for me would mean nothing, i will keep investing and earning bitcoin, buying and selling it, government must take care the country problems and not bitcoin.

Yes I absolutely would continue to use bitcoin if my country banned it. I HODL, what would I be supposed to do, give up my coins?

Fuck the government.
Then it would be very fatal for you sir if ever that you if ever that you will be traced by the government using this technology. Now on that cased i would have no choice but to rather withdraw my amounts probably all to be safe than sorry later on.

Would have to be careful with it, or stop using it. But if i had a lot of bitcoin i would just move to a better country that didn't ban it.

Me either I will become cautious and careful if the government will declare bitcoin as illegal in our society. But I will still keep on using it because there are a lot of ways that I can still consider to keep on using bitcoins with the help of mixers and as well as some exchange sites. But it looks like that I am already a criminal if I did that.

If my government made bitcoin illegal then there will be a punishment if keep using it. And I am sure there will be no more bitcoin exchanger in my country. So, it'll be worthless if I keep using it while I cant convert it to my local currency. The answer is no, I wont use it anymore if my government forbade it!
Just because there won't be any legal exchanger in your country anymore doesn't mean that you cannot exchange your bitcoin into fiat. You can always trade person-to-person. Back then, there's no exchange websites. That is how they trade their bitcoins, by meeting up or by talking to each other online. You can also do escrow. Probably the transaction fee would be higher on this one but come on, you can't just shut down your bitcoin income just because of some hindrance.

The  question is  on how  you  gonna  do  p2p  on your country  if  bitcoin was  banned?  FOr sure   those  people  on your country would surely find  another  person  to  exchange  bitcoin to fiat . Other way to encash   your bitcoin is    to transfer  bitcoin to  your friends   to those  who  live on  country  which  bitcoin its  not ban then  let them  exchange those bitcoins  then transfer  the fiat  into  you by common ways.

Well I consider crypto a hobby and I really enjoy in that hobby. It was made illegal, I d still use it. After all, the whole idea of crypto revolves about rebellion against authority so YES, I d stay in even if they d tell me to stay out.

They can`t stop us from using bitcoins, I think we will always be able to find some way to access the bitcoin. Some governments have bad opinion about bitcoins, but for now there is any bans against bitcoin users.
Bitcoin is growing bigger each year, and there is no way for any institution to stop this wave. Many of us share same opinion like you, even in case they try something and tell us to stay away from it we will find a way and we will fight for bitcoin.

I will not use it if it is declared as illegal.  Illegal stuff when done have punishment and i don't want to waste my energy to something that will bring distruction to me and my family.  Better safe than sorry.  Besides even if I accumulated millions of bitcoin, and was tracked by the government, all this bitcoins will be consfiscated and all my effort will be in vain.

Sadly but i am going to agree with. It is really hard to deal with the government who decides not to allow that certain platform on their country but this doesnt mean that i would just agree with them and do nothing

Holy crap. That is a hell of a question. Never tried something that will be against the law of man.
If I still got some bitcoin left I would rather withdraw it than be taken to jail. I dont want to use all my bitcoin to pay up for getting out of jail. It sounds not brave but just being true to myself.

Definitely not. As everything is digital, it's easier to monitor transactions online rather than in person. I don't know why Bitcoin would be banned in the first place, but going to jail because of it is a lot worse.
Or maybe everything is harder to monitor since it's digital. Yes the records are all there since it is digital, but do they know that it is you? There's a lot of ways to mask your existence in the Internet. You can literally jump from country to country by just using VPN. You can always deny that the account is yours when you're in the court unless they have a solid proof that it's yours. Just don't upload personal information online and you'll be safe.

Yes i will use bitcoin because my government is not going to provide me my pocket money so I myself have to find another way to earn money till i retired. Otherwise if i need to quit bitcoin then government should pay me $30 monthly.
Why they need to pay you $30 monthly? because you are citizen? it is good if they are giving free money monthly because here in my country are not.. and i hope bitcoin will not flag as illegal currency..

He means to say that if the government makes bitcoin illegal then they should pay him $30 every month as pocket money because if he wont be using bitcoin he wont be earning his pocket money.
And i would say the same, though i wont be able to say it to the government Grin lol, but my only way of earning is bitcoin so if bitcoin is made illegal i would be broke and my life will go back again to where it was.

Of course not, it can get me to jail or anything worse than that. It's just like the opposite of "if selling drugs is legal would you do it?" If you can earn money legally then why not. If it's illegal then better think twice doing it.

Event goverment can not know about your activity with bitcoin.

Don't get too excited already. Yes, it's true that you enjoy a certain amount of anonymity with Bitcoin, but if governments want, they can get to know much more about you than you are realizing right now. They can silently force the exchange you are signed up to with your personal information to release all trading logs, cashout logs, etc. This is the exact reason as to why I mix my coins that I have cashed out from the exchange I am working with. Better safe than sorry. But they of course can also force your ISP to closely monitor all your traffic. It may sound a bit extreme, but all realistic possibilities.

So gverment do not have reason to make bitcoin illegal.

The government does have plenty of reasons to put the label illegal on Bitcoin, but they will not directly ban it. At least well developed countries not. At worst, they will come up with certain policies in the hope that it will slow down Bitcoin's growth. As you also mentioned in your post, Bitcoin is freedom. That's exactly what they don't want you to have. With Bitcoin, you basically rule out banks and also governments. That feature is what they fear the most.

Yeah bitcoin is freedom. Event goverment can not know about your activity with bitcoin. I think bitcoin is not illegal, the users who made illegal transaction with bitcoin. So gverment do not have reason to make bitcoin illegal.

You cant really take it away from  the government to think of  bitcoin is  illegal hence   its being  used  by hidden transactions  that's why government  would see it as  a  threat  and that's why  they don't  like to legalize  bitcoin but still  it remains  strong as  long no once could able to manipulate it   or  being controlled by someone and  that's the beauty  of bitcoin and  also considered as  freedom from  government.
