All the people saying "keep working": Why? Don't you have any higher goals in life?

many of them like their job, other simply don't have any passion, and their job is like a drug, or simply without a job they have nothing to do in their life...what a sad life for those

They could keep working if nobody at work knew they were rich, but if their workmates found out they would almost certainly get extremely jealous. They would probably eventually find the jealousy intolerable and have to leave.

legalize weed & lsd

Why bother wasting your time and money trying to fight a losing battle when you could move to the USA in a state where it is already legalized because the thing is it would not matter how much money you gained from bitcoin mooning that would not be enough on your own. Or just do it like you do anyway and pay the court fee's if they ever come much easier  Grin

I would do similar to what i described above i would travel though as much as i possibly could hopefully they would let me in Australia i love the look of the country.

there are states in the u.s. where lsd is legal ?   Grin

Who's there?
Nice to see a lot of examples of good work ethic and altruism. A bit disappointing is that no one mentioned libertarian stuff. Where all the first-adaptor-anarcho-crypto-liberto-geeks gone? As for charity, the major form suggested is the worst one - give away money to those who doesn't have them. Which in the long run will increase number of needy people. If you pay people for not having money, they will not have money. It becomes a profession. So, my IMO:
Agreed. The version I heard goes something like this: Give a man a fish, and he will eat for a day. Give him a fishing rod, and he will trade it for a fish! This is because man is lazy, and he will always hold a hand out as long as there are handouts.

Other than that, I agree with a guy above, I'd like to do some investments/donations to human life extension and other tech research. I strongly believe that donations to create technological abundance is more useful than donations to charity that gives food and clothes to homeless people, for example. It's like giving a man a fish vs teaching a man to fish.

I don't agree with the libertarian stuff though.
I, naturally, agree with the part you've agreed with, but I cannot agree with your disagreement with the part you disagree with. Smiley

..

EDIT: put the same ideas in more coherent form:

Currently the technological progress is like a car with handbrake on. This handbrake is state's taxes and regulations. If we want the car to move, we can push it. But even pushing with all our might won't help much. Because of the handbrake. If we really want the car to move, we have to take it off the handbrake.

It's the most efficient place to apply our efforts. While donating to technology without fixing the root of evil is just symptomatic treatment, fixing consequences of the problem instead of fixing the problem itself, misuse of energy.

That's why I would donate for ancap projects.

The best way to use your money is to help people.
The best way to help people is to create technologies.
The best way to create technologies is to create free society.

So, I would use part of my gone-to-the-moon bitcoins for an ancap-related project(s). Something in the line of free-state-project, seasteading, gray-market-development, monero.

And the rest of the wealth - will create the cushion of safety and modest comfort for myself, my family and friends. For example, almost none of us owns a house at the moment. That's not good and should be fixed Smiley

Not gentlemen.

Welt Am Draht

It's far more sensible to spend one's money on a top of the line castration. Cheaper and much less painful in the long run.

Daym, why would i spend top dollar to remove my testicles?

No messy divorces, no nasty diseases contracted from armies of prostitutes, all the time in the world to concentrate on one's model trains and attempting to move rocks with your mind.
