Only if there is no chance of being caught. I gamble just for fund and it's not worth getting in trouble for it. The great thing about bitcoin is it's easy to gamble anonymously.

Satoshi is rolling in his grave. #bitcoin
I think we do not have to disobey the rules of our masters, with that we can see the peace in our country and so the peace all over the world, those who disobey their master and their government are actually the agents of the destruction of peace in the world.

I really hope that was sarcasm. Who can be another mans master in a free world? Besides that, by my logic, even if my country was to impose such rules, i would
still gamble, because the action itself is performed on a server in another country with different rules  Roll Eyes I just make the clicks here

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

Definitely not. Why would you break a law just to fulfill your addiction? A ban might be good for you even, if you are an addicted gambler. But it doesn't mean that you can't access the site, it just means that it is less easier for you to access the site.

Take a look at PD - they have tons of US players although they forbid them from playing with real deposits. But still - lots of highrollers are from the US.
well i would also not gambling, to be honest i dont do a lot of gambling even right now whn it is completely legal to do that, so that wouldnt be too big of a problem for me to quit it

Indeed you should not break the law for this, its just not something you can do if its illegal and its also that its bad too do gambling itself.
I think that you can do other fun think instead of gambling so you do not need it.

I cannot say that it is that simple-breaking the law because of addiction.
For example poker and many gambling games is forbidden in my country,
but that mean's for proffesional poker players who can really earn money there, that when they are playing it,it is just an addiction ? i dont think so.

Defender of Bitcoin
In some countries online gambling is only allowed at licensed casino and sportsbook websites and with the boom of the Bitcoin gambling phenomenon some people prefer to play at Bitcoin counterparts due to less stringent registration procedures and no ID required for withdrawing funds. However if gambling is banned in physical and online casinos in the country I would probably not bother to use VPN or other methods to get access because the risk of going to jail is very real. But Bitcoin is still unlicensed and people who need to get their gambling fix fast can enjoy betting with coins instead.

Maybe with some friends but I do not think that I would gamble because I am not looking forward on going to jail, jail is just not for me.
It would be a good thing for some people if it was made illegal because people would save allot more money then.

It is and I am. I think that's also a gamble, if the authority caught me I can be on bars but again as my country have not accepted bitcoin as a currency, I am playing with digital tokens, It's like the cards we were play with in childhood or like the monopoly game, so there are ways around.

You shouldn't gamble if its illegal in your country. Most likely the reason why its illegal is probably for tax purposes and because local casinos don't make money.

Depends on how strict the rules are for gambling. Mostly, countries only ban online gambling since they cannot tax it or do not have some kind of laws to regulate them. On traditional gambling houses like casinos, I might still play a game or two on them just to entertain myself.

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

Yes I would, freedom is important and if I want to gamble I will. I will keep it under control though otherwise others might pick up on it.

If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble?

You should not. But if you really want to go for it, use a VPN to avoid troubles.

You don't even need a vpn, unless your ISP will block your connection. I don't think it is a main priority of law-enforcement in most countries around the globe.

...How can the government prevent online gambling in the era of Tor and Bitcoin?

The same way the did with music and videos, fine the shit out of a handful of grandmas and 13 yr old girls.
Illegal and enforceable aren't always mutually inclusive.
