I have mixed feelings about what I would do. A part of me wants to save them for the very long term, because it's guaranteed that Bitcoin will be worth a lot more in the future, but another part of me says, "screw waiting, let's do this" and I might be inclined to invest hard in some altcoin pump to profit from it and make extra BTC out of it. 10 BTC is a lto to play with.
I will give 5 bitcoins to my family by turn it into fiat, 2 bitcoins for gambling and 3 bitcoins left for investment for make my bitcoins growth.
maybe i will invest some in several new promising altcoin like waves, rise... some will be for enjoyment, but should not too much. some will be for charity. i will keep some and hide them.
If I got 10 free BTC I would just safe them for the future, there is chance that the price in the future is going to be higher then ever. Every bitcoin is welcome so I can make more money in the future.
Saving your coins for future is really good thing and it is safe too, but I think you should try to grow as if you will be holding more then 10 btc then it will be more profitable for you.

I would invest some part of it in trading and rest I will hold it for long term may be say at least for 5 years, as I am sure price would be much higher by then.
That's perfect I guess, as trading will allow you to grow your coins which can be more profitable in future, and if you don't want to risk your coins then you can simply hold.
yeah it is good to invest it into trading, especially if you know how to trade to make good profit.
but if you don't have any experiene in trading starting with 10 bitcoin is not a good idea.
Trading is risky and if you don't have knowledge of trading than its always better to start off with small capital that you can afford to loose.

If someone gave me 10 Bitcoins for free I would just sell them right away with out a doubt. If I sold them at this moment I would make a bit more then $4000 and this is nice money to get for free.

I would build an eth coin rig. Or buy a plug n play from a trusted forum member. A good 6 card rig is about 2500 usd
that is about 5.5 btc
I would hold the other 4.5 btc
Why we not have an idea of Halving, Now halving is coming and i think it is best idea to utilize the halving, when it will come and we use it than of course we get profit, because halving is a profitable thing.
May be it is only suitable for those peoples, who already save their bitcoins for future, they don,t want to use it in any trading. i also include in this list. because i m thinking it is easiest way to get profit.

Store it on a paper wallet... I have a gut feeling the price will rise in the following year(s), so there's no need to make risky investment in order to get a little bit of (possible) intrest.
I would use it in 10 different companies with good background history
I did not see any investment site that can be reliable or trustable. Most of them are just ponzi schemes so you better do not deposit any satoshi in this kind of site
and I will add that how can a good background history guarantee for the company to be legit? did you forget "liberty reserve" (a payment processor) it was also a very good payment processor with good background history. So the same can happen in any business of any category, the company runs successfully with good image but when ever the admin is tired or he feel the lose in future he immediately scam everyone and steal all the money of its members.

I know sometimes that activity will give big profit but, if you don't have any luckily you will only loses your money gratuitously.
I will use the bitcoin to buy some Etheruem and then buy into Slock DAO. After I have made some profits, I will give 10 bitcoin back.
Why you are giving back. If I get 10 bitcoins, then I will immediately move that into cold storage and will be waiting for bitcoin's appreciation for years. For this, I will just follow Satoshi. He is watching his coins for more than six years. So I also....

well since i'm not fan of gambling at all, i wouldn't risk them in gambling,as it is also a dumb idea to risk your money, and i don't think that i would buy something with them
but i would invest them in trading, because it will bring lots of profit, or i would keep them in wallet and wait for price rise as i am pretty sure that price will rise soon
probably find a team to start up some sort of business so i can have a decent income
yeah If I have 10 btc then I will start business and for me I have knowledge about it, where I have to invest money and where from I can make more profit I know everything and I hope I can make 10 btc in few couple of month.
