You just keep Bitcoin and that's the best strategy. But if you think that you want to scatter 1 BTC to many different altcoins, I'd suggest the top ones like ETH. As much as I want to suggest other coins, if I were you, I'll keep the 1 BTC and wait until the next or next next bull runs.

So, from what point of view do you consider it crucial? Given that most of today's older altcoins are starting to be contested on some legal basis, I don't think it's a good idea to take advantage of this situation to get them even at a low price. And there is no need for other opinions to know about new altcoins, without complex research it is very risky.

Final opinion: Just hold your 1 bitcoin

If you are to invest, then let it keep sounding in your mind and thoughts that bitcoin should be your first priority for an investment, when you set in during the bear market, hodl your coins and wait till they are matured for release or sale, you will have the opportunity to make profits during the bullrun, you can be buying bitcoin gradually as well using the DCA pattern, any investment outside bitcoin is nothing but risk because you will have the varieties of altcoins introduced to you and only few can be reliable while others are nothing than constitute of scam coins, whereby you can loose your entire investment on them over time. This makes bitcoin the most preferred cryptocurrency except if you think you've got that boldness for investing on any alts being an experience user.

First your subject topic doesn’t correlate with the main message body. First I would say there are different exchanges that actually offer pairs of btc to different coins and tokens. So if you wish to swap to those coins you can use these exchanges and then move your coins into your wallet.

Concerning investing into Alticoins for the purpose of diversification of portfolio, I would say it is definitely not advisable to me especially at this moment where the market trend is fluctuating. Investing into Alticoins poses more risk because it is not certain that most of them will survive this market. Moreover why i don’t advice investing too much on Alticoins are because they just follow the trend of bitcoin movement with just few coins moving slightly higher interms of gain percentage but also when it comes to dumping they fall way below and some crashes totally. So if it is about security and probably profit then stick to bitcoin. This is also not to discourage you from Alticoins but be rest assured that most of them are just pump and dump coins and investing in them is just pure gamble

The more flour you have, the more cake options you can make. The money you get from selling 1 BTC is very much, you can buy whatever coin you like based on personal research calculations. Investment advice has been widely shared in forums and you can find it on google based on the keywords you enter. My best advice is to save your 1 BTC until you can hold it, it's better than putting some money on a new coin that hasn't been fully tested in the market.
