My opinion is buy and hold 50% of your capital outright bitcoin then buy any top altcoins with other money. bitcoin will give you big profit share anytime and better profit than altcoins if bullish market comes next. In my opinion it is absolutely stupid to buy new altcoins to take risks that will increase the amount of losses. In fact if you want to invest in crypto you have to stick to buying and selling in the crypto market.
He said very small amount only, while your recommendation of 50% seems a lot already, but to invest in a top altcoin is much better than a new coin. A new coin can't be a top coin yet because in order for a coin to climb the ranks, they must have a really good volume first. Even though he also mentioned old coins, not all old coins are top coins or are performing better, so it's better to be clear here.

BTC is always a good investment but it does not mean it can give us a profit any time since it's also highly volatile and bull runs don't come often or stay any longer once it arrives. Some top alts are still smaller than in BTC so their pump potential might still be high, no wonder why some consider them too.

That's true. I would advise you to use easy savings on crypto exchange and multiply your assets on Bitcoin. There are many which gives double digits compound flexible interest rates for Bitcoin in this present Bitcoin bullish market.

Investment is one of the investments that we can expect to profit at some point in the future.  if you really plan to invest the funds you have, just invest all in btc.  leave it alone and expect the earnings in a few years later

Everyone has their own opinion, but I suggest investing 50% in Bitcoin and the remaining 50% in Ethereum and other altcoins. Altcoins have the potential to provide significant profits. For instance, Matic coin has given 100x profit to its early investors. Therefore, investing some money in Bitcoin and the rest in altcoins is my strategy.

With cryptocurrency, we need to be observing the market very closely and taking decisions instantly. With 1BTC in the wallet, we shouldn't think of diversifying, for which our focus should be on making money out of trading. The volatility will surely give us better earnings, and over time we will be able to invest in altcoins with the profit from trading. At times, the market used to have a massive difference between the growth of altcoins and bitcoin in terms of percentage. We need to make use of it to invest in altcoins, and once we have booked the profit, we should once again trade it for bitcoin and keep hold of the bitcoin. In the present market scenario, my choice will be to trade bitcoin against Ethereum and try to hold it till the breakthrough for its ATH.

I usually Invest a very small amount of bitcoin to another coin because I know this time is very crucial to invest in any new coin or even in an old coin.
Any suggestion from your side which is good for long term

Sure, It's better to use other money to buy other altokens, separate them between BTC. you could use other funds to buy separate altcoins. If do you means like diversification? yeah you split them. Sometimes people said "don't put all your eggs in the same basket", especially in crypto market. We don't know in future. I think like so.  But, consider this, what if you took those same funds and, rather than throwing them into a whole slew of different coins, focused on, say, two or three that really catch your altcoin interesting. That way, you focus to split earning.

if for the long term I will buy BTC or ETH depending on the use if I want to maintain my wealth with decent profits I will buy btc and eth but if I just want to build wealth I will bet on new dialtcoins which can give me 5-10x profits because there are many altcoins that can make our money multiply fairly quickly

Bitcoin investment is better for me for the short term and not complicated, we just look at the news situation and the DCA graph if we understand. If you want to invest in other altcoins, maybe you can look for something like the ICO Analyst Telegram channel for  recommendation, also have to look at whether it has long-term potential and is safe or not.

At current prices, one BTC means a lot of money. If you really want to invest a btc worth of wealth then I suggest you definitely not invest the whole money in cryptocurrency. Divide it in half and invest the other half in some land or gold. And with the other half you can invest in some of the top ten tokens. I would say invest in tokens like ETH, BNB.

1 Bitcoin is really big as if for me .

Ethereum-                        60% of that Bitcoin will be on this one

Solana-                            20% for SOL as this is what I am holding now

Binance-                           the last 20% is for BNB

Just Make sure OP that this is only for Altcoins and you still have plenty for bitcoin, so you will never be wrong from your investment when bulrun happens.
I have some bags with those old and known coins specially on Bitcoin and ETH, you wont really be needing
on purchasing the whole coin if you could really be just simply be able to buy on partial.
Here comes my new bag when it comes to potential coins.

$SUPRA
$SUI
$GFAL
$KAS
$TAO
$HELLO

But of course these choices are all included on that 20% allocation in entire portfolio.
Always ideal that you should really be that having a habit when it comes to diversification. I do always have those second thought
that those old L1's might be overtaken by something new on this upcoming cycle reset. Lets see on to those list
above would really be having some nice hit.
That is a large diversification there mate, any of these succeed now?

Who would decide on making such a great mistake, by loosing his Bitcoin and going for something that do not last and may drastically decline in price and cost great loss to investors. But why would you even think of collecting part of your Bitcoin and exchanging it for something that has so much risk involved. It is never advisable and I am happy you spoke out so then you understand that it is not the best option.

I understand why you want to exchange part of your Bitcoin to other altcoins as you seek huge profits from your investment within a short period of time, most persons make such mistakes and always regret at the very end. I would advise you continue to hold your Bitcoin, do not sell or swap as definitely you must get profits as any investment made in Bitcoin is for the long term and if invested at a bear price then you can see profits within a short term but still hold till it breaks a new ATH

when I have 1 btc, then what I do is continue to hold onto it without having to break it again to buy another coin.  Only if I feel that my BTC holdings are more than enough (1.5 BTC) then I will try to buy another different coin.  But remember if the amount exceeds 1 BTC

If you have 1 BTC, you should just leave it in BTC, don't think about altcoins. Everyone dreams of having 1btc is difficult and if you already have 1btc you should hold it to invest in altcoins.

Even if you still want to invest in Atlcoin, don't touch the 1 Bitcoin asset anymore. If you sell some Bitcoin to invest in Altcoin, you will regret it later. You have to look for additional funds to invest in altcoins. Maybe this is wiser and good altcoins for the long term in my opinion are ETH and BNB.
Just 1 bitcoin, if you can analyze DCA, a short-term investment, could be an extraordinary income, you are right, friend. but excessive human desire becomes unbalanced. and if the other side wants altcoins, just invest in ethereum, BNB and bitcoin which is more efficient, the risk is not big just wait for the bullrun moment

If it's for the long term and safe, my advice is to keep bitcoin, don't buy sell buy sell your bitcoin, you have to focus on one point, if you want to be safe, stay focused on bitcoin, don't move to another coin, especially if you don't understand what you are buying because bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrency but if you want to buy altcoins I also recommend eth top 2 coins in marketcap and the king of altcoins for now focus on these two things

If you want want to keep that 1btc, without convert then that's also okey cause btc is the most secure investment with sure profit. Then you can keep half btc and rest of half can be use for top altcoins like eth bnb sol matic dot etc. If you want more profit then sui arb op could be good altcoins for hold , suppose to be bright future as they have additional new technology. Memecoins are bad but you may investment a little amount for doge coin which is now top altcoin
I'd keep that 1 BTC.
It's hard to acquire and accumulate that whenever you're going to start going to zero and you want to invest that in different coins. Some may be good and profitable through altcoins but you'll never know if it's going to be successful as what you're thinking.
I will keep that one whole BTC and then will use my other source for buying other altcoins if I insist of buying and that's the tip that I'm giving to OP and for everyone who has successfully achieved to own 1 BTC and then want to scatter it through altcoins.

My advice is that if you want to build your wealth, focus first on altcoins because altcoins will give you a 10-1000x price increase. For example, I have a close friend, he changed 1000$ to 100,000$ when he bought a Shiba Inu at the beginning of January 2021, but if If you want to maintain your wealth, buy Bitcoin because Bitcoin is future money in the future and Bitcoin is immune to inflation, depending on where you focus.

Well, basically, people aim to have at least 1 bitcoin in their wallet, and if they want to invest in altcoins, then they won't use the 1 bitcoin they have. Honestly, I also think that when you have 1 bitcoin, then it is enough to hold it and not exchange it for altcoins, because the potential increase in the price of bitcoin is quite large, especially when you have 1 bitcoin.
however, I realize that everyone has different strategies. So if you are looking for another investment besides bitcoin, then the best choice after bitcoin is probably ethereum, and if that's not enough, you can try BNB, XRP, or other popular altcoins.

if I have 1 BTC? I will not risk my whole bitcoin in other cryptos , I may consider putting 20-40%   of it but the 60% must remain bitcoin.

- Ethereum - 10% of the total amount.

- Ripple -10% as I believe that there is something coming from this coin after winning the case against SEC.

- Binance of course - 10% for this and will remain till after halving .

its not a professional advise but that will be my folio if given a chance .
I wouldn't consider taking out more than 20% from my Bitcoin just to invest it in altcoins because no matter how good an altcoin is, Bitcoin is what the market follows and for the altcoins that I buy to gain value, first Bitcoin will need to gain value and it's always better to have your highest bet on Bitcoin and use just small percentages of your capital in altcoins so that you get some profits from them but you don't miss the actual fun of the bull run which is in having Bitcoins.

So, though I believe diversification is a great thing, I think one should only invest a small portion of their capital into altcoins and keep the rest of it in Bitcoin and liquid assets so that they can buy more if required or cash that out if they ever need money just to be safe from having to sell the assets.
