$40,000 is very big amount and i think this will be total amount one can afford to invest in crypto. This amount should be invested very wisely and taking risk from capital investment is always bad decision. The most important thing here is booking profit. no need to wait for 10x but when you see 50% or more you can sell half or some part to book profit

It should reinforce your own sentiment that since the past few days the price of bitcoin has gone up so why don't you understand that it is actually the right investment to make a profit. You look at the market of altcoins they are trying to deal with the situation and slow market recovery. From that point of view bitcoin may be the best investment for you and i may have such a bullish market very soon. If you only do research you will lose the best time and will not be able to make strong profit from bull market.

I'm invested on multiple coins and diversification is always better than investing on a few coins. Still if I were to choose a low risk high reward coin at the moment to invest all my 40k on, it would be books of meme (BOME). Bome is heavily accumulated at current price range and is near a heavy resistance that's been unbroken since ever. The coin could easily do x10 in a matter of years.
Among popular altcoins, I'd still chose Solana, even though it's like x10 in last 6 months, it can still make another x10 in a few years.

If I had $40,000 to invest in any coin other than Bitcoin, I would definitely invest in Solana Coin. Because currently most of the projects are launched based on Solana platform and most of the projects in the market are based on Solana platform. This coin has the potential to acquire the second position in the market in the future.

I can divide the currencies you mentioned into groups and thus make it easier for you:

  • $MATIC, $ADA, $SOL, $DOT: This pair's philosophy is that if Ethereum fails, they offer themselves as an alternative, so invest in one of them in addition to Ethereum, not all of them.
  • $SHIB, $DOGE: Both are speculative currencies. I do not advise you to invest more than 1% in them.
  • $VET, $NEAR, $LINK: I have not heard of enthusiastic news about these projects, so do not invest more than 4%.

If I were you, I would invest no more than $3,000 in all of the currencies mentioned.
This will leave you with $30,000 in Bitcoin and $7,000 in Ethereum.

I agree. Put your extra money into altcoins, but focus mainly on the top two. They're more dependable for making profits.

To much or not really depends on the investor's ability to lose that money, because for those who have millions of dollars in assets, $40K for just one altcoin is small, because the amount of profit obtained will also depend on the amount of capital in the altcoin, but of course for small investors and only allocating $40k to invest is too much because you shouldn't put one egg in one basket, dividing it into several baskets would be better but you have to do it with careful calculation because without careful calculation what percentage dividing it into each altcoin will only reduce the profits you get because not all selected altcoins performed well in the same time.

$40K is a huge amount and everyone will definitely choose Bitcoin and ethereum as their choice in terms of profits especially for the long term, and both coins are also very safe choices compared to other coins or altcoins because of their footprint.
And maybe if it were me, I would also only choose Bitcoin and ethereum because apart from these two great coins the others are still very risky, especially with new altcoins. So we have to be really wise in choosing coins that are safe and can also provide benefits for us, even though it takes quite a long time but it is certain.
Well, I also think that $40k is too much for 1 altcoin. However, since OP doesn't want to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, I think I'll choose BNB for that 1 altcoin. I still believe that BNB could potentially reach prices of thousands of dollars in the future. In fact, even though there is a lot of FUD from Binance, Binance is still one of the popular exchanges, and I think it will continue to influence BNB. So, I think sooner or later, the price of BNB is bound to rise, and with a $40k investment, it could be a huge gain.

Op you are looking for the one currency that will making you a billionaire??!!! It might be possible if you choice more than two, three currencies in a row , otherwise one currency needs so many effort to make you billionaire and that is highly risky. Btc, eth are safe but not have that effort what you are looking for, to make you so. Haven't found only one currency Rest from them as promising safe to landed you on yoir target. Memecoin doge, shiba or another one could be the choice but you could lost also. I may choice matic, near or solana for that, although billion is large target

All in a bid to ensure I have a concrete investment plan this year, I researched some of the altcoins that has the potential to yield the best return over a duration of 5years. BTC and Eth top my list as one of the more secure coins, but other altcoins have proven to be reliable overtime, if you agree. Despite market volatility and the possibility of a crash, which is your most valid choice right now.

*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?

- $BTC *
- $ETH *
- $ADA
- $VET
- $SOL
- $MATIC
- $SHIB
- $NEAR
- $DOGE
- $DOT
- $LINK

These are some of the best I have seen so far.

*What advice would you give me?

I prefer to invest in altcoins that have high risk. because the higher the risk, the higher the profit we might get. In my opinion, the best long-term investment is BNB. Even though it is not on the list you mentioned, BNB has bright opportunities in the future. besides Bitcoin and Ethereum. However, if I can suggest something that suits the list you have made, choose Dogecoin because there are so many people who have become billionaires just by investing in Dogecoin.

With that kind of money, my suggestion is that you better invest in some altcoins. Moreover, recently the price of altcoins has experienced a significant price increase. Moreover, when the halving occurs, I am sure that the potential increase in altcoin prices will reach a new ATH level. Therefore, never miss the opportunities that exist and take advantage of the situation so as not to miss out, but you have to be careful not to be too hasty and most importantly, always carry out in-depth analysis.

with that money, apart from BTC AND ETH, I recommend Solana and Doge, these two coins are very popular, now the community often talks about this coin, Solana, with its speed, Doge, with rumors of payments in x. I'm sure that if you hold this coin for the next bullrun it can rise 3-5x, keep in mind this is just my personal speculation, still do your own research

Every other alt on that list is bullshit right now if I really had 40k, nocap bro I'm going all in into bitcoin can you see the charts the pump is on fire and the halving is here yet, we haven't even crossed the ATH yet and If I had that cash I don't see any other coin that would be a better and more garanteed investment right now than bitcoin, it's just like having enough money to buy a maybach bad going for a toyota and an old model at that. What would I be thinking.

If your aim is to achieve billionaire status through cryptocurrency investment, consider selecting an altcoin with a low market cap. However, bear in mind the high risk nature of such investments. While there's potential for substantial gains, there's also a possibility of significant losses. I refrain from recommending a specific altcoin for you to allocate your $40,000 investment because there's uncertainty regarding its potential for price appreciation. It's advisable for you to conduct thorough research before making any investment decisions.
By today's market analysis if I look at the positions of the mentioned coins each coin is in a fairly good position. Every coin is bullish on the upcoming halving. Every altcoin has already seen  Pump. If I had $40,000 to invest right now, I could multiply that investment several times over. I would try to hold some of the top altcoins along with Bitcoin Ether. I believe it will give me good returns in the next few days. I know cryptomarkets are risky but depending on the potential there is definitely a chance to get something good if you can take the risk.

If I had 40,000 dollars kept aside for investments then I would have invested in BTC and ETH. But, you've already said that you've grown accustomed to these two, so I presume you already have a balanced income in both of these crypto currencies .

Well, regardless, I would still not go for any other cryptocurrency, shit coin or legit, I'd either still pour money into Bitcoin and (little) into Ethereum or I'd get other assets. There are lots of assets I'd like to have ( personal opinion though) and they are; gold bars and chains, shares in top businesses, and the mining industry. But all you want is another crypto investment, so I'd say you go for Dogecoin.

but you can't make money spin faster with bitcoin, compared to altcoins.
for now bitcoin is used as the safest alternative, but if it enters at the wrong time, then the person has to wait too.
that's the difference between people who know the market and those who don't know the market.

I also feel the same, I think it is not easy to make a profit from bitcoin now, if someone wants to make a lot of money and quickly, he can use altcoins as one way.
because buying coins is new and still has upside potential.
I disagree with you completely. Even though I know investing in good altcoins is a good choice at this point, I also know that Bitcoin is also a good choice that can give great profit. If I have the funds the OP post and I want to invest all into cryptocurrency, I will still go 70% Bitcoin then 30% altcoins. I will not think too much about investing in Bitcoin as it has already been tested instead I will spend more time in selecting altcoins to invest in because there are many of them and care must be taken to select the ones with huge potential. I will further do 50/50 of the 30% for altcoins in such a way that one part will go into well established altcoins while the balance will go into new altcoins with good potential like the one whose signature I am wearing.

The amount of not that great for many people and its depends on where do you live in. But no matter what the amount is allocating some of it for bitcoin will minimize the risk of losing all the funds in case your invested altcoin turns to solvent like luna did. ETH is also safest due to its adoption and massive ecosystem growth.

The answer is simple: Bitcoin, Bitcoin, and Bitcoin again. If i had just one choice, t would be bitcoin because of its potential and how it has been proven to be worth the hype since it was created. However, if I had to make another choice, for instance, if bitcoin were not on the list, i would go for SOL. I see a big picture with Solana. I like the network and how fast it has grown. Definitely, it is one of those altcoins that will do well in the bull run, and if i am to advise anyone, it will be Solana for the long run, if not bitcoin.

No doubt about this, I'm picking Sol and Matic straight. The two has always be my dream token. I believe matic will do great in the next bullrun. Sol has been long being doing well in the crypo space and I believe it will continue to do more well in the next bull run.
