In order to turn your $40,000 into a billion you'll have to bet on a coin that could grow at least 25000x, and from the list of the coins that you shared, none of them could go 25000x in value. Your only risky bet is to find a new coin that has the potential of growth, however that thing is as risky as gambling because any wrong decision can make you lose all of the money.
If you want to earn good returns from your investment then you should consider Matic, and Vet as good coins because they can grow in value at least 2-20x in 5 years, and you will be lucky if anyone of the coin crosses 50x of its value. That's still a possible thing, but it's impossible to reach billion dollar with just $40,000 investment on those coins.
