to my knowledge if bitcoin is bearish, all altcoins will experience the same thing, except the stablecoins as you say. as in the previous bearish market, no altcoin will survive when bitcoin experiences a bear market.

i belief every project that has good basis, it coin will always survive even though in the bears, so with the current trend don't think the market is coming down very soon, though the only thing that is constant is change, but dont see bear coming this or nexr month, the aforementioned can still survive eth and ripple

I think this depends on your approach to investing or trading in the capital market for example if you trade the capital market hours a margin trader. that is in use leverage and control them direction of the market is bullish or bearish then you wouldn't really have a problem if the market reverses and turns bearish you would only look for a good coin that is highly liquid and has the probability for long reversal and then short it and make profit

For a trader who trades in pairs against the dollar, the coming bear market will not change anything. He will continue to earn dollars in short.  The bear market is dangerous only for investors who plan to profit from the increase in the price of coins. And if they do not have time to fix their profit, they will suffer a loss.
I did not understand what you are talking about. The traders with USD pair will always make money even in a bear market while investors in other words traders will loose money  Roll Eyes. Trader does not mean anyone who is booking their profit even in bear market. Once the market reverses no one in the right sense will invest and they will rather wait for the market to stabilize to invest again.

although this possibility is low and probably won't happen. but I want to ask you. if the bear market starts next month, and bitcoin falls below 20k. which altcoins were still able to survive and which altcoins are feeling the big impact of the bear trend.

we exclude stablecoins, because after all the market situation this coin will definitely be stable.

so I think Ethereum can still survive and that Ripple will be one of the biggest impact altcoins during the bear market.
All of those top coins will survive if the bear market comes. But to say that bitcoin could fall to $20k, that's possible but I think that possibility would be lower this time. But a bear's a bear and everything could fall into unexpected prices.

BNB will also be one of the survivor.

Just as we see, the increase to BNB's price has been consistent.

Expect newer projects to dump when even the top coins go bearish.
Panic selling is quite common here so never be surprised that some coins will be forgotten in the existence.
You're right that possibility is quite low just from how much price surge we got lately, hopefully not solely from the celebrities that said something to crypto.

Guys, I know what I'm going to say is crazy, that's why it has a high chance of passing.
I estimate that in 1 or 2 months BITCOIN will be temporarily "banned", that would stop its decline and that would create expectations of anxiety, of crypto news consumption, be careful this month please. I'm crazy, so be careful.

If bitcoin goes back to 20k many altcoins will suffer since majority of new altcoins are up in their feet today because of bitcoin bull season, it will also reveal many projects that pretend to be good and useful but are been managed by unqualified developers or team, both bear market and bull market have their advantages

Altcoins that can survive? you mean the price is still stable even the market is in bearish?,
he means about even when the bearish market was coming and the coin like ethereum can still survive while ripple has lower chance to survive consider it has been facing the allegation from SEC.That means ripple has very low probability to survive during the bearish trend.
I don't think so. The stable coins can survive but the volatile coins like ethereum maybe it will go down as well. It would be a massive dump for all coins if the bear market happens and many shit coins will be dead.

You should not mention the stable coin consider that's going out from the our context. The stable coin backed by the stable asset and that makes it stable and it will never be disrupt by the volatility.

If that happens or BTC drops at $ 20k, then I personally wouldn't hesitate to buy as much BTC as possible at that price. But it seems quite impossible, as we see that day by day the price of BTC is pumping high and significant at the price of $ 50k, but if btc does go down it could affect some of the other top altcoins, including eth as well as xrp.

bear market is one that crypto users don't like because the bear market can give a loss but I see even though the bull run continues bear market keep coming but only briefly and does not cause great harm, my prediction during a pandemic like this The bear market is not really going to happen and of course the bull run will continue albeit slowly

I have a strong feeling that if the bear market happens XRP will still manage to survive knowing that plenty of big institutions all over the globe are partnering with ripple. Also, I have in mind that EGLD, DOT and LINK are going to survive as well when bear market takes place.
I think that even if XRP can still survive but it will not the same as the current situation when ripple gets bad news and it will give massive impact not only on the ripple itself but on the exchange sites that are still trading ripple at this moment to dude. The coin other than ripple can still survive in the market but that will be different for ripple coin.

I think for now we are wrong in talking about the bear market because the movement of bitcoin and altcoins continues to increase and very confident the highest price of bitcoin has not been reached for this year, but if the bear market happens then I am sure the value of many altcoins still persist because at the moment altcoins are not at their highest value especially ethreum, then for now it is not suitable for talking bear market.

And if ever that will happen, I don't think it will stay longer. Why? I know people will buying more, many were get crazy to take the chance but because of that, trading volume and market demand will rise again pushing the price to move back high. It is likely to say that there no possibility that we get back to the price 2 or 3 years ago. Maybe we have to accept now the thing can't see bearish season anymore.

That is why, if we have the plan to invest, may we have to start it now. Don't wait that it reaches $50k. just saying...

sometimes investors might gains of supports with the confirmation as from the news on release from market and developer, to confront with use of one on customs with the modification of other investors that is to dispose risks of bias with convergence as reducing chance on not to lose with the trading on market.

It's difficult to picture BTC dropping so fast to $20k because of the number of institutions investing in it. However, just in case the bear market starts, altcoins with high market value such as ETH, BNB, DOT, and a lot more might not drop to their lowest point. Especially BNB which I think has a lot of supporters since it has a lot of use case and benefits for holding.

Really? 20k drop is only 60% drop and we all know that number is so easy to happen in crypto. Elon Musk pumped Bitcoin by 20% in two days, it is much easier for fear and FUD to drop that same amount and trigger a chain reaction in weak hands.

Remember we saw a drop to 3k in March last year,,, and that just took a bad oil and stock markets crash to trigger!

We could say the biggest impact is tether and Ripple as both of these coins have major issues on SEC that still clearly needed some attention.

It could be a big fud to other coins and people are gonna get scared. You know how people easily panicking when they saw some things like this right? But it's gonna take a while before the fud sync in cause the market now is really good.

It might be difficult if Bitcoin falls below $20k, now many large companies have supported Bitcoin like Tesla. If that were to happen, I agree with you that Ethereum will survive in a bearish moment. And I think BNB and Polkadot can survive too.
I am sure many of us do not want to see the price falls to below $30k, especially if the price is suddenly going down deeper to below $20k.
That can make a panicking from traders and investors because they will sell their bitcoin and plan to buy back bitcoin at a low price.
But if the bear market comes again to the market, we can do nothing except to prepare our money and not panic because that will be a golden time for us to buy back bitcoin.
We do not have to sell bitcoin at the downtrend because that means we will make a profit unless you already bought bitcoin at a lower price.

My indicator is very strange but simple - until the most long-awaited project (Dfinity) came out, the cryptocurrency market should not turn around and go down. It seems to me that the guys from Dfinite know a lot more than we do. They are insiders and therefore were in no hurry to leave!
