beware of your keys.
i hope that my account will be continued by someone i know, i don't want this account die.
anyway, even if i got the wallet password inside does not matter because i would be no longer in the world anyways, unless i was incarnated to the same world and nothing forgotten from the past.

I would create some sort of scavenger hunt if you know you're going to die (or even leave it in your will) and the end discovery will be the pot of gold aka your private keys

Interesting question, I really haven't think about it yet, but if I were to die, I'll put up every account I have on my will and pass it on my kid if I have any. Containing instructions and everything he/she will need. I'll also include and suggest for him/her to check Bitrus for it will be a good training ground for them, for it has a user-friendly interface and tools that are designed to assist its user according to their expertise, it also has an active community to assist them on the way.
Imagine you leave your child an instruction on how to get in touch with your digital asset and they like " What is this private key? "  Cheesy I'll do the same thing as you man. I don't have an idea what Bitrus is, what is that? an exchange? a blog for becoming a trader?
We all trader will be doing the same thing for it not to be lost forever and someone will get benefit from it like our relatives or friends. Bitrus is an outstanding exchange which introduces the all new BTRS coin mainly integrated on their exchange. It has different web UIs so different trader can access. Get to know the most of the information here in Bitrus

I really have to take arrangements for in case this happens. Legally my wifecand kids will inherit the value of the funds in the accounts and wallets. But without all the different codes and 2fa protection etcetera they will not be able to access the accounts. Best way to go forward is to visit a notary i guess.

Hey,
did you check the topic i created about making sure my half knows what to do :

It is here : [Postmortem crypto plan] : making sure my wife will know what to do !

Maybe you can inspire yourself from it.

I have a very close family member that knows how to handle my accounts since I started from his teachings so I definitely trust him to have my account if there's anything happen on me.

How would they even know your passwords and such if you are already dead?

Me and that family member lives on a same house so he basically knows everything about me so I won't be surprised if he can guess my passwords of my accounts in e-wallet and online casinos. That is what good about family (in my case), you can trust them with all your stuff and you know them well that they won't betray you. It might be difficult for some because even if they trust their family, most of the time their family doesn't know they have an account for crypto or if they do, they don't understand how it works. So while there is still time, I hope everyone else would let there family knows what they do in this industry.

Let's say that one day you died for any reason and no one in the family understands these things or you do not have family.

What kind of plan do you have ?
No one in my family knows about these things. But my cousin will.

I think that crypto platforms should add an option of sending assets to "emergency contact" in case their owner passed away.

If I die? Probably some necromancer will resurrect me. But seriously, I keep all my accounts in a notebook in the locker at home and only the closest ones know this place!

What kind of plan do you have ?
For most people if they would die all the accounts is gone since all the informations are lost. There are a very few persons who save their accounts and informations into a safe place where family could find it in case they die but since no one expects to die suddenly I don't think anyone worries to much about their accounts.
