This not high amount but i will bought only btc because i can get $500 to $600 profits very quickly. Anyway personal i can prepared you for start trade and make profits everyday. Because your assets is not to much so that's why you can't buy more altcoins sections. Otherwise you can buy upcoming new coin but it will be super risky.

of course I will allocate my $500 in 50% SOL and 50% in TON, because I believe that SOL and TON are worthy investments to invest at this time, so of course by investing in SOL and TON right now, then I will definitely will get a profit of at least 3x from my $500, therefore I also recommend you to invest in SOL and TON right now, before the price of Bitcoin reaches its ATH or a bullrun occurs.
is this the Toncoin (TON) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/toncoin/ ? looks having a good run now stating its position at rank 13? sounds good investment .
and Solana(SOL) has been in my pocket for year now so having it with you will definitely a good sign that there will be more coming from these 2 currency?

For now if I have 500$ I would buy BNB since to much noise right now happen on BNB and the price is down because to many bad news but I think this coin still has potential in future the daily transaction on BSC is still high and the Binance is still continue to operate and the coin is one of the top 10 by marketcap

Since this thread is in the Altcoin speculation section, I believe OP is asking only about altcoins and Bitcoin shouldn't be included in that. Besides, you said you would invest 10% into several altcoins from the top 100 list, but you are not realizing that 10% of $500 is just $50, and I wonder how you are going to divide $50 in multiple altcoins and still expect to get profit because your profit will depend on your invested amount, investing $10 on an altcoin would barely get you anything.The best solution would be to go with about two or 3 altcoins that are at the top, ETH should be the first one and a large percentage of the total capital should go into it, and the remaining percentage should be split into two parts and invested in the top 2 altcoins after ETH based on current ratings and future potential.

Personally, if I had funds of $500, I would of course divide my portfolio in half, 60% for BTC and 40% for Eth. But many people with that kind of funds will choose altcoins that are trending in the hope of making a profit, for me this is very risky, especially if they lack knowledge and lack confidence so they suffer losses.I believe in Crypto fundamentals, even though I swallowed a bitter pill because I experienced big losses because I wasn't strong enough to deal with market crashes. Currently I am confident with some of my new knowledge because I watched YouTube and studied on this forum so that I have a strong foundation for choosing BTC and Eth to invest in. Moreover, the market is extraordinary at the moment, and even if there is another correction, the strategy will certainly continue to work. My portfolio has improved quite well due to better understanding of the current market.

The problem is that we lack the patience and the ability to maintain our stance on the original plan. Maybe some people will see that the low initial capital allows them to risk pursuing trending projects such as defi, web3, AI, NFT, memes,... but it also means that there are risks involved during FOMO with those trends. Research to evaluate a cryptocurrency in accordance with each individual's knowledge to be able to make more appropriate and honest decisions. If we take risks, we also need to think about the responsibility behind them.

If I had $500 for investment, my decision has always been straight forward, all the $500 would be going to Bitcoin, most especially now that we are experiencing a little bit of bull run, and one of the most interesting thing is that this is the current highest price for this year. Just today Bitcoin has experienced 4%+ increase, how much more before the end of the year? To me Bitcoin is just the best coin to make your investment now, after all there are several coin which their price is tired to that of Bitcoin, so what's the point of investment in another coin when their influencer is doing just fine.

Since the cheapest coin that I wanted to trust is Ripple then yeah I will put all 500$ in XRp and wait till the Bull run comes, expected to at least reached my momentum to sell again because there is a big potential for XRP in the bull market because of how much it falls when the case against SEC happened and now that they already won the battle , there is a possible chances of this going to its ATH.

personally I don't think $500 is that much amount of money at best you will get meaningful profit investing in altcoin, even with 60% allocation for investing in bitcoin it wouldn't give you that much profit anyway so you're just wasting time, its better to invest instead into coin thats strongly related with bitcoin like ORDI i guess that could give better chance of making profit since market capitalization still small meaning the increase would be big also the value of the coin itself relatively low, but then again its altcoin we are talking about so there's definitely higher chance of losing money so always careful in selecting altcoin always try to look at the fundamental and see which fare better and then you can proceeds to invest.I would argue that,your investment also need to suit the capital being invested.

The remaining 10% of the $500 is only $50. And I think that this amount will not be enough to invest in several altcoins. And this may be the main reason that the OP will invest in high-risk assets such as new coins and meme coins, which may lead to the loss of the deposit.

I will be frank $500 isnt that much of money to invest you'll certainly need to adjust to your need, if you want shorter term of investment then go with top 50 altcoin which still have cheap value if you want long term then bitcoin and ethereum the way to go.
i would avoid future with high leverage for the safety but if you are eager to just increase the profit then you can try to do that but it will fall short when the market changing suddenly and you get liquidated meanwhile with spot you could just wait it out until it recovers back to the price where you make entry.
I'd personally go with L2 but anyone can have different opinion. but there are many coins that might be promising like ORDI and the likes which has shown quite good at this bullrun arounds.
