If my portfolio is limited to $500, I can set a target of x10 in the next 2 years with any altcoin I am talking about, like ETH, BNB, DOT, LTC, LINK,...

Actually, to make a choice about something in the market to achieve the target, I think, is not difficult. The problem is that we lack the patience and the ability to maintain our stance on the original plan. Maybe some people will see that the low initial capital allows them to risk pursuing trending projects such as defi, web3, AI, NFT, memes,... but it also means that there are risks involved during FOMO with those trends. Research to evaluate a cryptocurrency in accordance with each individual's knowledge to be able to make more appropriate and honest decisions. If we take risks, we also need to think about the responsibility behind them.

If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy

500$ is not big amount but better to start with it.. I think the better strategy is to invest in Ethereum, Solona and AI coins.. Everyone has own choice but I think the best way is to diversify it in 3-5 coins.. most of experience members advising for Ethereum; I am also agree but I think if we add 2 or more coins than it will be more safe.
Eth: 40%
Sol: 20%
XRP: 20%
AI coins: 20%

There you go , good set there mate  but will you be helpful if can add specific AI coins
because until now I still see nothing best choice as I find it hard to relate so try to convince us with project name
instead mate thanks.
500$ is a good enough for starters mate and if you are looking for good investment now? then why not buy Cardano(ADA)https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/ and https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/polygon/Polygon(MATIC) those are my contender that you can choose and try your luck before this halving take effect and before the Bull happens and don't be late lol.
But my folio has 7 different coins now that I am ready to when it may come to happen.
matic seems to be fair also , maybe this may add to the list given above for more chances of profiting when
the bullrun finally comes.

If you had $500, which coins would you choose to buy
are you planning to buy? or are you hunting altcoins to invest for the coming Bull market?

If yes then better to check all the answers here instead of being in hiatus ? because this sounds like a spamming ground for altcoin shitposters.

If I had $500  for investment, my decision has always been straight forward, all the $500 would be going to Bitcoin, most especially now that we are experiencing a little bit of bull run, and one of the most interesting thing is that this is the current highest price for this year. Just today Bitcoin has experienced 4%+ increase, how much more before the end of the year? To me Bitcoin is just the best coin to make your investment now, after all there are several coin which their price is tired to that of Bitcoin, so what's the point of investment in another coin when their influencer is doing just fine.
unless you missed checking what  section is this mate , though the question is general yet we are in altcoin section that I believe needs to be answered with altcoins as well.

Ethereum is for me , solely for ETH this time of before halving.

yes.  With full confidence I will also invest the $500 I have to buy eth.  Even though I only got less than half the amount of ETH, I think this is enough as initial investment capital

Since the cheapest coin that I wanted to trust is Ripple  then yeah I will put all 500$ in XRp and wait  till  the Bull run comes, expected to at least reached my momentum to sell again because there is a big potential for XRP in the bull market because of how much it falls when the case against SEC happened and now that they already won the battle , there is a possible chances of this going to its ATH.

Personally, if I had capital of $500, and my position was not yet good at analyzing, I would only divide it into Bitcoin 60%, Ethereum 30% and the remaining 10% I would invest in several top 100 altcoins, I would speculate on this to get more profit. large and if I experience risk, I only allocate a small portion of the funds, so it doesn't disrupt my overall investment
personally I don't think $500 is that much amount of money at best you will get meaningful profit investing in altcoin, even with 60% allocation for investing in bitcoin it wouldn't give you that much profit anyway so you're just wasting time, its better to invest instead into coin thats strongly related with bitcoin like ORDI i guess that could give better chance of making profit since market capitalization still small meaning the increase would be big also the value of the coin itself relatively low, but then again its altcoin we are talking about so there's definitely higher chance of losing money so always careful in selecting altcoin always try to look at the fundamental and see which fare better and then you can proceeds to invest.
I would argue that, your investment also need to suit the capital being invested.

The remaining 10% of the $500 is only $50. And I think that this amount will not be enough to invest in several altcoins. And this may be the main reason that the OP will invest in high-risk assets such as new coins and meme coins, which may lead to the loss of the deposit.

I will be frank $500 isnt that much of money to invest you'll certainly need to adjust to your need, if you want shorter term of investment then go with top 50 altcoin which still have cheap value if you want long term then bitcoin and ethereum the way to go.
i would avoid future with high leverage for the safety but if you are eager to just increase the profit then you can try to do that but it will fall short when the market changing suddenly and you get liquidated meanwhile with spot you could just wait it out until it recovers back to the price where you make entry.
I'd personally go with L2 but anyone can have different opinion. but there are many coins that might be promising like ORDI and the likes which has shown quite good at this bullrun arounds.
regardless I think you should do analysis based on your own after getting advices for people to suit your needs.

70% Bitcoin, 30% Ethereum.
Buying these top 2 altcoins for me is the safest way right now. But if you are a risk taker, then try other altcoins especially those altcoins that are in a mid-market cap like the top 100-500. It's more likely a gamble, so be careful.

Bitcoin.
But if i have additional money maybe like $200 i can split such into 2 or 4 and make an investment on other reputable alts i know i can afford taking risk on, but the only Investment that will not rise a blood pressure is bitcoin,~
Very agree. Bitcoin should be the priority for our investment. If we have big funds, we must buy Bitcoin as the main asset. Having $500 is quite good amount of money, it will be too risky if it is used to buy those unfamiliar coins. If I have $500, I will also do the same thing, I will use a half of the money for buying Bitcoin and a half for buying 1-2 top altcoins (ETH, ADA).

buy BNB, because the price of BNB is still very cheap and has not increased in this year, so I still have the opportunity to get a lot of profit from investing in BNB at this time, because I am sure that when the bullrun occurs, then the price of BNB will definitely increase, so if I take advantage of the current situation to buy BNB at a cheap price, then I will make a profit easily in the near future.
BNB was a recommended altcoin to buy. But since CZ has a case with US authority, the future of BNB seems a bit doubtful. How if BNB fails to skyrocket in the bullrun because the demand is decreasing a lot due to the case of CZ. I think you need to consider this, the potential of BNB is no longer the same as previously.

And what will happen to the price of the coin when the court issues a guilty verdict for CZ? After all, after CZ was banned from leaving America until a court decision was issued, we cannot rule out such a development. So it's worth refraining from buying BNB, especially since there are such a huge number of coins on the market that have lost value, but have a chance to restore their value.

It’s not good decision to buy BNB right now, that's correct BNB is now looks pretty low to considering the market but it’s price is low for SEC claimed against Binance and already their CEO is resigned, So i would not like to buy BNB, it can be more dump until their case is solved, you should invest in another good coins which is promising.

In the first position it will always be BTC but if that is the only fund someone manages to invest in for the next bull run I would suggest going for low cap altcoin. in five project hundreds dollar each will be a good way to maximize the profit. Choosing the right project will be hard but most of the time, a new project performs better than an old project in the bull run especially a project that is working in a narrative that hasn't seen any bull run. If you are lucky enough your project can give you 100X by the end of the season.

Depends on your strategy, if you want to play long then go for the top coins but if you want to become a trader, then you have to actively analyze the market and follow the price trend. I’m not familiar about the tokens you’ve listed here OP, but if you are looking for a small project with a small marketcap and have the full potential to rise then do more research about it, there’s a big risk here too so you have to be more ready for that.

Maybe someone who is more experienced with that much capital will run to a new altcoin by risking that money like gambling in the hope of getting multiple profits, of course this contains a very big risk. Not recommended for newcomers and for me it is also better to choose altcoins that have been around for a long time and are the most popular
