Well if I can imagine something like that happening to me, I will fix the decision that I made in the past and the result is not good like not investing more in Bitcoin is one of many regrets in my life, Studying hard in my school days, and many more that I will fix it. I think there are lot of possibilities if we talk about time travel and most will dream of getting what's valuable at this time like investing in btc when it was too cheap or say Laszlo would have offered USD only instead of 10,000 BTC but it's not possible so we should not make such discussion.The people will still say the same 10 years later that if they have invested at $30k it would be golden period for them.So best is to take chances in present rather then regretting for past and making future bad also.

even though malmi and laszlo look very stupid for selling the thousands of bitcoins they have at very cheap prices but look at the bright side, their names are recorded in history and we will always celebrate bitcoin pizza day because it was inspired by laszlo.

I also have a little regret, back when the bounty was still paying huge amounts, I didn't convert it all to bitcoin, I even splurged and spent it to buy a car, that was really a big mistake for me. even though I want to go back to that time but I think letting go of that moment is much better than regretting it, it's all a valuable lesson.

Exactly! I mean nobody even knew that it would come at this point of time where Bitcoin would be around thousands per coin anyway. I am also sure that Martti didn't really regret that Bitcoin sold, unless someone can link me an interview of his thoughts about 14 years from that time. People are seemingly forgetting that inflation was still quite a bit tame that time if I recall correctly, so that price ain't really that bad. I wouldn't regret it also if it happened to me as well.

I wonder as well on how many OGs are still here holding thousands of Bitcoin without getting locked up in their wallets or even forgetting that they were holding a lot. I couldn't imagine though.

No one cares about the present time but it is very surprising to think why people don't buy Bitcoin. We all know about some Bitcoin buying and selling in the past like a gentleman buying a pizza with 10 thousand bitcoins is a surprising event in history. But in the future, when the price of Bitcoin triples from the current price, everyone will regret the present.
So now we have to leave past history and invest in Bitcoin again and if any investor invests in Bitcoin now he will get three times more benefit than Bitcoin Halving in 2024. So without wasting time we need to focus on present time and invest in this opportunity of low price of Bitcoin.

That serve as the purpose of bitcoin just imagine what will be the price if those people who sold their bitcoin will hold it until now , for sure the price wouldn't be the same as now or bitcoin will die at early age because there were no transactions on it. Forget about time machines, that's impossible and now try to be realistic about the future and what you can do now with bitcoin which historically has given its investors worth returns.

I can't remember how many assets I sold at rock bottom in 2016, 2017 and after, but I can't regret it because I know there was no point other than just taking the time now to grow a portfolio for the future. It's not just that we can't know the future of Bitcoin, we can't tell the future of anything. Whose life is going to happen in the future is beyond our imagination. The future of all things is determined by the Creator. No matter how hard we try, we can never change our future. If I had a time travelling machine, I would definitely want to go back when the first time I had known Bitcoin. I heard about bitcoin since 2014, If I only knew that time that it has a very good future in investing i would definitely invested. During that time i was hesitant because i do not have knowledge in investing in crypto currencies. I do not know either how to use the crypto wallet, i was so confused and afraid that i invested my investment will get hacked. Well that is already in the past and now that i had more knowledge i am eager to do investment in crypto currency.

If I have a time machine I will go back to 2010 and be at my greediest I will even sell our house and work to death just to accumulate as many Bitcoin as possible and try to stay alive and healthy until the price skyrocketed, I would have to stop imagining myself that I will be the wealthiest guy on Earth while waiting Cheesy

or people might think I'm going nuts.
There's still a lot of risk in going back to the past and implementing my plan because it's possible that I cannot enjoy the things I'm enjoying now like posting in this forum because I will be busy spending my fortune.

The fact that we are still having these "what if time machine" posts shows how childish and amateurish Bitcoin community is. You don't see these kind of posts on forums of stock traders, real estate investors, etc. How do you expect Bitcoin to become a real financial force if to most users Bitcoin is just a dream of getting rich quick while doing nothing?
