I think it's normal in cryptocurrency, some people have their own plan for their investment and not all of them are holders. Some people sell the asset when they feel profitable and some people keep hold and believe of their asset will increase more. That's because everyone's needs are different.
There were times that we were opt to do what we don't really want, to those long time holders who suddenly needs their money will be force to sell their coins as last resort. It really always depend on what situation we're in.

Yep! Bitcoin is simply a game of majority. There are different investors with different needs, some like to sell at X price, while some love to hold till Y price. The price of Bitcoin is moved by the majority. If at a particular price, say $7500 we have more HODLers than sellers than price will surely move upward while in opposite case, price will break down. In last few days we have seen a rapid rise in price, that's because there is general positive environment in market and people are believing that Bitcoin can rise more. Therefore, we have more HODLers in the market. It reflects we can easily go past $9000 in next few days. Fingers Crossed.

Holder is not a greedy this is the way of them to make profit and before you said that just look how their sacrifice by holding bitcoin or altcoin, for me dont put a negative emotion or wasting your time in this kind of situation just be happy on what bitcoin achieved and continue to pump up we have a difference tactics on how to make profit.
I dont think its a sacrifice to hold bitcoin. It should not be thought that way. Its what a person has planned to do. If they are holding then it should not be that they are forced to hold. It should be spontaneous holding because they entered the market knowing that its very speculative and wanted to make profits from long term holding.

There's always differences about opinions and emotions regarding to whatever trend is ongoing,we do need to ask ourselves if what we are planning and to make sure about our position, holding or selling our assets should be based to what we understand the market situations.
You are right about yourself but this may not be true for everyone. Some people have already planned to buy or sell at certain positions and thus they will do so. Whether it will affect the market adversely is another question.

Well every one got their own target and own strategy and some holder is not greedy but they believe the price could go higher and aim for long term, and who knows the price could really reach ATH again so actually holder is taking a bigger risk to make bigger money, all of investors got their own speculation so just let them do whatever they want as long as it doesn't create bad influence for crypto

Don't waste all your energy listening to it because it's all a perception, I can't be a cheater or a greedy investor because they have their own strategies for profit and must be taught that this is a market that cannot follow all their wishes, only believes that the market crypto will be good in the future because it has been rolling for a long time with all the investors involved, I just told everyone that they have their own strategy.
There is even a suggestion that is incorrect and even misleading. I also agree with you that decisions made by ourselves will determine whether we can get good results or not. as long as we can make decisions in accordance with the situation and circumstances then we can get something satisfying. investing and making decisions are entirely in our hands and we only hear the advice of others in helping us think.

LOL, you're just too emotional dude, grow some thick skin, anyone can voice out their opinion here, whether you like it or not. Just like when we see a lot of people creating FUD's around, we f***ing hate them, but what can we do? I guess you just have to live with that in this community and learn how not to get affected. You can argue with them all day long, but at the end of it, both of you have points and there will be no clear winners.

Those saying we're greedy are those hoping to buy-in during the next bitcoin correction because they didn't have enough patience to hodl or hope to buy-in during the bear market period and are regretting right now. For those hodlers that bought during the last bitcoin's ATH $19+ I don't see any benefit in selling now, they just have to continue hodling because until bitcoin crosses the $20k+ price range, they're still in loss. Let them call you greedy, hodl until you achieve your desire price target.

And you're also mistaken about this being the longest bear market ever. Seriously? We only saw 3000 low. And now we are at 35% of ATH. That's so good to have.
Huh!!, really... I think you should do a little reading;
https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoins-price-longest-ever-bear-market
https://news.bitcoin.com/current-crypto-bear-market-set-to-become-the-longest-ever/
https://www.ccn.com/crypto-market-officially-in-longest-bear-market-in-history-how-long-will-it-last/
https://hacked.com/longest-bear-market-in-crypto-history/

Come back when you're done heheeee...

Look here. I'm a holder for the long term just like many others, but let's face it. If we have to tell people not to be greedy and not cash out, then we might as well just make Bitcoin a forced hold. Don't worry about what others are doing! If they don't sell, then there is no market. And there's no more place for us to enter and reenter. Bitcoin can grow without this intervention and in fact will become stronger.

Lol, it seems you didn't get me. I'm not saying cashing out is bad thing and per my knowledge, encouraging someone to HODL is not a forceful or impulsive order, it's just an advice. What I meant in my message was that, we shouldn't "insult" or "lambast" people if they don't want to sell. I deem that to be more more authoritative than even encouraging the person to HODL!
You can find my quote here:
Please if you want to cash out, fine you can but don't call HODLers greedy! In fact, we deserve a citation rather lol...

Exactly. It is their money at the end of the day and they can do they as they please. Also, it seems like op depends way too much on the labels assigned by people which is stupid if you ask me.

We should focus on improving our own portfolios rather than focusing on what labels we are assigned.

Seriously though, if you see one, just scroll past it. You're just wasting your time getting your emotions getting negatively affected by it.

I have actually not read such where hodlers are called greedy where the recent bear market have taken us like close to a year and two months while bull is just a month so far. I mean anybody that feels it is greed to recover a lose is not in line with history  Cool

Huh. I actually haven't either. Probably not even once, even though OP said "I have seen some recent posts". This is probably just another merit bait topic lol.

Well, HODLERS are always the winner during the bull-market. It's their way of earning and I don't see it as greed. If you have what it takes to be patient waiting for the market to rise and the financial capability to buy a lot during the dip, then it ia not your fault. People should mind their own business.

Yes, people become greedy to see bitcoin price can jump higher in a short time.
They are making money from the situations because they know the best time to cash out their bitcoin.
I don't call the holders are greedy because it will depend on their strategy and I believe each trader and holders will not have the same strategy to cash out.
