Categorically this depends on the type of winning because if I lost big to the platform, I will like to recover my my lost first before am happy. Although if there is a small or a minimal loss to the platform and I win, I will be happy or if am able to win back my loss like 10% I will be happy to resign for the day or for the week.
If you still have the maindset, believe that you really will not get the benefits that have been desired because it can not be returned. in gambling if you lose big then inevitably we must be willing to lose the money we have spent as a gambling. because if not we will continue to lose

I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?

This is why there are lots of gambling businesses. It's seems like a solid business model because it looks easy to profit from human nature. Personally, i like to calculate so when i win "big" i know it is never really big enough to cover the previous losses.

But i found that it's best to savor the wins, big or small, because in the end, i gamble just for fun.
I never believe the statement we gamble for fun. Just think of a gambling website that don't pay you, and you can play without spending as well. Will people use this gambling website for fun, almost 99% of the users are into gambling just to try their luck and for the easy money. Winning big needs a bigger wager, this isn't possible with every gamblers. Only the large volume holders of cryptocurrency can wager big and big win.
But I would say that there are still a lot of people who really gamble for fun as there are many websites who offer gambling only for fun and that’s like playing an ordinary game, while the rest of the people gamble for making money as they decide to consider gambling as their source of income and most of them are the large volume holders of crypto currency but there are few who don’t have enough money still they gamble in the hope of winning big.

If a person or a gambler win big he/she can forget all the losses that he made but not necessary forgetting it all or not remembering it because at some point you can remember it again because that is your failure. You just forget it in some point because you are very happy in that moment you win a big amount of money. As a gambler I still remember it all of my losses but still I may forget it when I am winning.
Winning moment supposed to be happy but most of the time it may be the beginning of chasing the losses so even the risk of losing money will increase if we win so as long as we consider money lost in gambling can be recovered we can be happy,we should have to accept the fact we are not lucky enough to win.

That's the thing with gambling, we are always ecstatic when you win and seem to forget all the other times and the money we have spent whiles chasing the jackpot. In the end people tend to spend more money in gambling than they actually win but once we win we become optimistic and feel we can win it once again.

For me, Occurring a lose always pinch me, it hurts always but this thing should be carried out over the time, I think if I win a big deal then I don't forget my lose, losing anything is my inspiration, I always try to learn from what I lost in my life, man is born in emotion, so control the emotion is very important task, when you lose something then it works in the mind again and again, so it brings a negative aspect on the mind spot, for myself, before winning anything I always remember the loss which makes me more concern and cautious about the game, it also makes me more curious about the game because it hurts me always. but nothing to be here, because everything is not controlled by yourself.

Of course I will count the number of my winnings whether to cover the amount of loss of money that I have spent so far. Because my initial goal was to make money not for fun. What I have tried so far is that each time I win the amount to be above my previous defeat.

Counting it will increase the oppression of winning if you won and didn't cover up your past losses, and your greed will act up then you will continue again playing by risking the profits that you have won, the results might be either you lose again or you win again. Playing gambling is tricky in a way where you are fooling yourself, when you are losing, you are saying that you will quit in an instant once you win big,

but after you win big, you persuaded yourself to gamble even more to know if you are going to win again, this cycle just keep on repeating until you all worn out.

In general, even though you have gotten common from this, chances are that people will again count the amount they got, and have lost it. this they do to find out whether they are still in a loss, or have profit. it's just that, I feel that those two things will still make people return to play. if he still feels defeated, he will most likely try to improve on that, whereas when they win, I think it will make people addicted.

I am sure after they calculate the results obtained and how much money has been spent, it will always be a loss. Somehow the loss does not mean they stop, but more often play again. With the aim of returning the loss.

So you need to be careful if you want to make money from gambling because as far as I know, the chance to make money will not bigger than to lose the money. Many people desperate because they lose and when they can win big money, I guess that they still lose some money because they already lose from a long time ago. But yes, they will not remember their losses, and they will consider that the losses are normal for them. Some gamblers are making a file of how much he wins and lose so he can know how much money he spent in gambling.

When the time i gamble online i remember all my loses in i got won. If i compute all my loses in my winning its more bigger the winning rate than my loses.
But some are bigger there loses than there winning.

In my life, the biggest amount I have won when betting is 4.71 BTC (profit 3.71 btc), but actually I always remember the amount of bitcoins I lost in 2015 (50BTC). I wish that if I saved them, my life would be easier.
50 BTC in gambling or you just lose it?  i wouldn't ever think about that much amount of bitcoin in my life because never saw it. But anyway, sorry for you loss but other people i am sure face that experience too, know that what they lose is bigger.
Lose is lose it could be huge or miner and the lose of bitcoin is really unforgettable that’s why people should remain careful while gambling so they will better able to play skillful ways. It’s good if one keeps him lose in mind as it helps learn and avoid lose for next time. Winning comes after learning and we learn from mistakes.

Basically, how could a person avoid mistakes in gambling? Most of the time, you are betting and risking without knowing where to bet. If you have intuition, you can use it, but most betting game isn't really predictable, you cannot avoid losing. For me, I will still consider my losses before I celebrate when I win. It is unfair so don't stop if you're finished, stop when you're done, when you your win is greater than your loses.

I am honest when playing gambling to be able to take capital back, but indeed some people give advice that it is difficult if you want to get the capital back, but now I am still trying to stop and remain sincere with the losses that I have gotten. if you want to gamble, make sure it's not for money but fun because this can make you addicted

Of course I will have to remember my losses to see where I have come from, especially if it's a BIG win.

And TBH I think looking back at your losses is good gambling etiquette as this could help in bank roll management when you gain the experience thanks to not giving up .

That's the nature of gamblers. They will never stop until they gain the profit that they want. Winning a larger amount one big time is still fulfilling despite losing something each day. However, we should still set a target goal and we must know when to stop. If we think that we're not gaining what we want, we better quit than regret it in the end.

We really can't blame you for doing such. I think it's just human nature to feel the rush of adrenaline especially after you win.

However, as you have said, it is a problem once you let that adrenaline rush control you. The tendency is the thing which happened to you—lose. Well, since you already know the possible outcome, I hope you learned your lesson. Cheesy
It is natural I agree but that lack of control can lead to addiction, it is important that you set a limit to how much you are willing to gamble each week or set a limit to how long you will gamble during a week.
I think that is a good way to control yourself—to set a particular limit for a day or for a week. It is quite challenging and tempting if you'll only remind yourself at the moment you play.

But if you have already set your mind that you will only gamble a specific amount day(s) before going to the casino or before going to your favorite gambling site, then most probably you'll save yourself from bigger loss. However, you still have to make sure that you will follow that mind set and not let greed take over you.

I agree with what you said; I usually do the same thing because when the day that I lose a massive amount of money, I get too emotional because I can't afford that loss. After that, I set my self that I will control my money in every bet that I will make. This day I calculate mostly everything that I gamble, and also, I bet a limited money/budget money that if I lose all of it its game over. But not only in losing, I also have a range profit, that I gain that profit I will stop ( but mostly depending on the luck that I have.) Smiley
