We really can't blame you for doing such. I think it's just human nature to feel the rush of adrenaline especially after you win.

However, as you have said, it is a problem once you let that adrenaline rush control you. The tendency is the thing which happened to you—lose. Well, since you already know the possible outcome, I hope you learned your lesson. Cheesy
It is natural I agree but that lack of control can lead to addiction, it is important that you set a limit to how much you are willing to gamble each week or set a limit to how long you will gamble during a week.
I think that is a good way to control yourself—to set a particular limit for a day or for a week. It is quite challenging and tempting if you'll only remind yourself at the moment you play.

But if you have already set your mind that you will only gamble a specific amount day(s) before going to the casino or before going to your favorite gambling site, then most probably you'll save yourself from bigger loss. However, you still have to make sure that you will follow that mind set and not let greed take over you.

Of course I will count the number of my winnings whether to cover the amount of loss of money that I have spent so far. Because my initial goal was to make money not for fun. What I have tried so far is that each time I win the amount to be above my previous defeat.
We count the number of winnings and we think if it is really worth it. The point is when counting a number of winnings can we really cover the amount of money we lose? There’s a need of huge funds for that just to aim for a big win. Well, let’s hope for more luck to come to win.

In my life, the biggest amount I have won when betting is 4.71 BTC (profit 3.71 btc), but actually I always remember the amount of bitcoins I lost in 2015 (50BTC). I wish that if I saved them, my life would be easier.
Well the question is when did that winning happen?because if you made that in the late 2017 or early 2018 surely that you covered all that said 50btc losses because the value of bitcoin from 2015 to 2017-18 is significantly increased
But that’s normal to remember that 50btc because comparing to the price now that’s a huge amount, anyway for sure you won’t accumulate that said amount if that’s happen today lol and you will not risk to gamble such big volume

I always remember my losses because I keep a track on the spreadsheet how much money I've loss  and why I've got a tracker because that money comes from the loan I took. Even though I have already recovered my loss, but every win I always subtract it from my losses.

I am sure that you can control your money in gambling, so you don't get a big loss. But I guess that you will need a long time to recover your losses because I don't think that you can win many times in gambling. You will need a huge lucky to win the games, especially to win big money. But even you get a big win, and it doesn't mean you can recover your losses because I am sure that your losses will bigger than all of your winnings.

But having a tracker to know how much you win and lose will give you a chance to see how big you're lucky in gambling. I never suggest getting the money from a loan because we will be difficult to pay back the loan, especially we cannot always win the gambling game.

50 BTC in gambling or you just lose it?  i wouldn't ever think about that much amount of bitcoin in my life because never saw it. But anyway, sorry for you loss but other people i am sure face that experience too, know that what they lose is bigger.

Losing 1 bitcoin is already heartbreaking, what more losing 50 bitcoin, what a poor guy. I bet he was so greedy that time because he have a large capital which he thought would last when he risk it playing on gambling, but turned out the other way. If you use it on Trading, buy high and sell low, you probably should've double that 50 bitcoin of yours today, but that's life, we always regret things in the end.
In 2015 price of bitcoin maybe around $200-$300 (correct me if i am wrong) maybe a lot of people have a lot of bitcoin at that time. But 50 bitcoin for gambling is insane, people who really have a lot of money who will risk that amount of money in gambling.  Grin
That’s really a crazy act to spend your 50 bitcoin in gambling  because we know crypto is really profitable so is gambling but we are certain about profit in crypto (bitcoin ) investment but we don’t know what Will happen in gambling you can win and lose at the same time better gamble with your flat money but keep your crypto safer for long term.
Unfortunately, that man still not show up and really make me curious 50 BTC lost in gambling or maybe he just lost his wallet. I think people will think more to make that big amount as money to play gambling.

Even though you experienced a lot of losses in the past, that will not tell you the wins you will be having in the future.

Obviously its possible to win and still not cover previous losses.  The idea of noting previous losses is that on average your games won will reflect an average for that games probability of winning, hence some will want to continue until their luck returns.   Thats probability theory and it has to be done properly really so the gambler isnt just chasing losses in blind hope but noting each game won or lost is not a bad idea so you can at least repeat what has proved profitable in the past.

But there is a problem, if i win i will play again, again, and again. Then i lost again.
After that i will say so stupid why i don't cashout that money  Cheesy

It is natural I agree but that lack of control can lead to addiction, it is important that you set a limit to how much you are willing to gamble each week or set a limit to how long you will gamble during a week, I say this because most of those which become addicted start that way, they gamble a little and then when they win they get very excited and instead of cashing out and be thankful for their luck they decide to keep playing.

Then they lose they money and this generates in them a desire to get it back only to lose again, this creates a set of behaviours of which is really difficult to get out as such it is better to never go through that path to begin with.

I think, I'm more of a "now" person. I just live in the moment. I mean, what matters for me is what happens now. Of course, I still recall the fact that I have lost before but not to the point of counting them and see if my winning is enough to get back my losses. I simply enjoy what I have gained rather than what I have lost.

At least when a win big can recover all previous losses and add some profit. It's useless when winning doesn't count how much money has been lost, it's the same as losing.

Counting how many losses you've made and how much money you've lost will just put too much pressure on yourself to win, and that means your mind will be clouded of thoughts and hesitation, you're going to think "what if I still lose this round" a lot of what ifs will flood your entire system which is not okay. In order to win, a clear mind and a heart full decision is needed, luck too (if you have one in gambling)

Winning big after so many losses is a sign that you should quit, maybe God allows you to get back your losses to make you realize how dangerous gambling is.

I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?
Maybe it is worth it for him. You say that he is daily betting on that particular offline betting outlet and I guess he is already hooked and at the same time enjoying what he is doing, and as I know about that game, there are also some small winnings or should I say consolation price if you hit some of their conditions of the game. Maybe he also wins small amount on that, so that he tries his luck to get the highest jackpot. I also forgot my loses when I actually win in a game because all what we think at that moment is our winnings and not our loses.

You are right. I remember that in that year, bitcoin was around $200-$300. I can not imagine if 50 bitcoin is used for gambling in 2017-2018. I am sure that if he loses, he will get big stresses. We almost forget with the losses if we win big, and that is normal to see many people say that because we do not count how many we are a loss. But some people write their losses, and they use that to remind them about the dangers of gambling. So if they win, they can take a look and check on how much they earn money from gambling.

If you always remember defeat and how much money you have spent in gambling. Of course you will never get a big victory.
How come that remembering the defeat or losses will lead for not winning big?any specification or explanations ?seems that the mean is hard t understand
Quote
Big wins are the result of how much you have lost.
On what basis that you’ve said this?why it seems that your the only one who understand your post?
Sorry but it’s not only me who feels this way
Quote

With that, that big victory we don't need to remember how many defeats we received.
There’s no one says we need to remember the defeat, even OP is just asking about our feelings when we get a big wins

the joy of winning is something to cherish, so I'll forget all my past losses and just chersih my winnings, I even throw a party when I won a big amount, if we have a long run of lossing and we want to get that all back you will just become disappointed, gambling is not lose now win tomorrow thing, there's no guaranty of winning and you always have a chance to win.

In that year, the bitcoin price is not too high as now, and if you lost that bitcoin amount in 2017, then that will make you stress and desperate. At least, you have the experience to win the biggest amount of bitcoin in gambling, but I am not sure that if you can win the other biggest amount again in the future. Unless you have luck in the next winning, you might not get the biggest winning at all. You can save the win money if you want and you don't have to use it again for placing another bet, so you don't get another loss.

Come think of it, I've won a couple of bucks in gambling before but the only thing that I can remember is the happiness I felt when I won and it made me think that there's hope in gambling but I didn't really think about my previous losses. What I was only thinking that day is what am I going to do with my winning should I gamble it again or save some of it. So I guess whenever a gambler wins regardless if how much he had lost already in the process he/she will not remember the losses once they have won big.
I think the common emotion of people is often as you say, when they achieve a certain victory from gambling, happy feelings then some expectations, the next question is whether to stop or continue to bet on their luck, no one wants to think about past failures when their happy emotions are welling up. Remembering the losses in gambling may only occur when we baked all the money into gambling and remembered the money we lost, it's so huge and we really regret this wrong path

How is that the result of your loss?

Even though you experienced a lot of losses in the past, that will not tell you the wins you will be having in the future. If that is the case though, a lot of people would be using that, or maybe abuse that to earn big money in the future and we all know that is not happening since that is not possible.
