At least when a win big can recover all previous losses and add some profit. It's useless when winning doesn't count how much money has been lost, it's the same as losing.

Recover all previous losses? Add some profit? I don't think it is that easy. There are many gamblers that lost in gambling and winning once just can't recover your losses. If that is just how it works a lot of gamblers would just gamble all over again not worrying about the losses they can get.

That is what most gamblers do. Forget all the losses and celebrate when they win big. Some people even treat their family and friends relatives.

Me I gamble a lot too. I started gambling when I was around 14 years old. But I used to estimate my losses and my winnings. So a win but generally with a negative net means no celebration for me.😅

I do always treat my family after winning big profit and never to chase any losses I incurred while playing. If you lose money forget it right away because you can always play again and wish for your luck to win, there’s no wrong about wishing. Set limits for you to enjoy your winnings and minimize the risk.

Of course I remember but not all, only those I considered as big loss. It's like all my hardwork but if you ask the actual amount of losses I guess most doesn't know especially if you constantly changing account and it shouldn't be calculated because it will be a burden when you play. Much better if you don't think about it and just keep on moving forward. Even if I win big, maybe I can't forget about those losses because like i've said it's hard work and it's part of every success.

After gamblers won a big bet, he realized that I had learned a lot now. The next bets are common to me. Once he wins the huge amount he does not count all his previous losses. It is the same for all gamblers. Some crazy gambler celebrate their victory with friends.
Although I do not play regular gambling, but same thought comes to me.

I have a friend who wins 15,000 pesos or $300 the first time keno games in an offline betting outlet, he is so happy and very ecstatic about his winnings, I congratulate him and ask him how long before he hit the jackpot, he told me that it took him 7 months and he is betting daily at 100  pesos or $3 so his losses are bigger than winnings.

But surprisingly he did not calculate his losses all he cares about is he finally wins, how about you do you remember your losses when you win a big amount and do you calculate your losses and ask if the winning is worth it?

I have a relative which is into lotto where everyday he spends like at least 100 php or about 2 usd every day. Here in Philippines, many old men are into that stuff because the jackpot price is in millions php. I asked him why he still plays lotto even though he had never win even one, then he told he have these 6 lucky numbers that meant much to him so he tries his luck and that 100 php a day isn't that much unless you won't look back to how many you have spent and loss.

Just like me l calculate my loses so that I  know if l have profit. And because l always look for my winnings if l will get back my loses. ..But sometimes I feel fishi ..
We can't stop ourselves for calculating the losses but we have already admitted that sometimes we can't retrieve it anymore. If time comes and you win, you are thinking that it's okay if you have losses in the past.

Because you can eventually get it again by winning again.

That's how we think, we don't usually remember anymore our past loses, we enjoy the moment because in gambling we don't win most of the time.
We cannot treat it like a business where we have income and expense and get the gross profit or loss, this is gambling where from the start we know it's not easy to way, it's just easy to play and we enjoy it but in reality our chances is lower compared to the gambling sites we are playing, so a win is a blessing that we have to enjoy.
The profit varies and sometimes it's a loss in our part but as long as you have understand this kind of dynamics on gambling as a gambler, you are good because you are doing it without regret. But if time comes and you really can't accept it anymore and you keep losing, that's a different story.
You are now about to count those big losses that you have made and you need to start somewhere or completely stop. Do the right thing, you may win but if the amount is really high, you have to think about it.

Sometimes every time you win no matter how big it is especially when we are winning consecutively, you tend to forget those losses of yours. I don't know about you but this is the case for me. I mean, regarding with your friend though, I think that 100 pesos of him is his spare money for that day and I think he's not that consistent on dropping money to win that keno but if he is it's still wonderful to win a lot of money that is delivered to you one time.

I don't think that thinking is applicable to every and mostly not someone like me, I am always sad when I loose and the feelings continues even after winning because I understand that no amount loss can recover back what is gone and to think it would have been possible to win even without losing a dime even hurts more.

I have seen people who easily forget their loses like it never occurred and I always wonder how they manage that because it is very unlike me. I didn't enter into gambling with any expectation of losing so it makes each loss come to me like a shock and hard to take. Winning isn't even enough to erase that scar it has caused. Loses could be gotten over with time but I believe not immediately after a win.

If we have been playing gambling for a long time, every big or small victory sometimes cannot cover the previous loss. This is what is called the gambling ecosystem, we play gambling often experience fatigue and victory. Behind it all, we never count losses or money that comes out in playing gambling. If we win, we will play again. Likewise if we lose, then we will play again too.

Gladly, I don't want to remember my losses so I can prevent myself from trying to recover my money. That will be difficult to do, and I know that I don't have good skills in gambling, so that is why I try to forget my losses. Let us think that gambling is for entertainment for our life, so we will know that we don't have to expect to make a win. Once we remember this, that will help us to have fun inside the games and not thinking about how to win.

But deep inside we are still hoping, that is true though. When was the last time that you bet your money and just think that I will just bet this money and be happy with it? I agree that we should look at gambling as entertainment but we will never remove that feeling, that hope that we can win despite that bet is just based on what we felt on that number or dice, or whatever.

Maybe you should remember about your losses when you hit and get a big win. But more than that, some gamblers belief that you have more patients to loss your money than to get it back just to get a title of a big winner.

I don't remember how much I losses in gambling because if I did that, it would make me sad, and I will try to recover the losses. That will be difficult for me because I don't have good luck in the gambling games. And if I try it with so hard, I will only get more losses, and I realize that will makes I broke. I am trying to playing gambling, but I don't use so much money because of the big risk in gambling, and I try to accept the risk.
One point when you remember those loses that you've made will keeps you dragging back to try to recover everything and it's bad when you are playing, you should be able to get along with risk and find enjoyment while dealing with this activities, it's good to keep the entertainment when receiving the luck that you get once you win big, instead of remembering those loses and kill the fun.

Gladly, I don't want to remember my losses so I can prevent myself from trying to recover my money. Quite right for me I guess, it sometimes means that winning is also equals on getting losses on a straight time. And besides no one can guarantee that the odds of having the pot might get your losses, sometimes the pot is quite small comoared to everyone's loses so catching it up won't be necessary.

I believe that is how these gambling sites are constructed and when the big loss after that you can find the profit also directly. You do not need to be hopeless while you are being in the gambling industry as the gamers.
If you want to make money in this field alone then gambling is not the right choice for you!
Better we can invest little and do the gambling which can do it in a better way. I wish you best of luck dude!

When it's my first time to win a huge amount of money I also don't realize my losses because at the moment when I won I'm delighted that I hit the jackpot like all my hard works pay off. But yes, after calculating all your profits compared to your losses, you will just realize that your losses are much higher than you have won. For me, it's like if you are a win at the very first time/ hit the jackpot, you will just ignore the amount that you lose because our mindset is like we are unlocking a new achievement of our life. But sooner after winning again and again (habituated in winning), you will come up to the point that you will calculate your losses to your profits or in short we gain experience and become mature to that kind of nature.  Smiley

You are human being and you should feel sad about lose its good to keep it in mind so it helps to recover your lose. Remembering your mistake is beneficial in case if you don’t again repeat your mistake which made you lose. Try to recover your lose and for good gambler each mistake gives experience.

This isn't the same for every person though.
For example some people will control themselves and won't continue betting because of the fear to lose more.
Others will be overtaken by greed and keep playing in order to win back what they've lost, probably resulting in bigger loses.

I don't usually keep tabs on losses and wins while playing casino games. I used to earlier but that often led to keep up gambling more trying to build up better stats ....and gambling in long run you know which way it goes so it never worked out for me and I made it out of habit now.

Nowadays I just keep some parlay bets from sports book which I won beating some good odds.
I think you should start learning to do that. I was once like you, never paying attention to my loses or keeping records until the day I noticed the money I had kept for something very important was all gone and the only place it could be traced to was gambling. I felt very hurt and I mean really hurt because if I was keeping records I would have known earlier that I have exceeded my limit.

I later won big after my loses anyway but forgetting the losses made wasn’t something so easy to do. I think we would eventually forget at the end but it might take long, not necessarily after winning but after healing from the loss experience.
In your case, I would assume you had a nonchalant attitude. You don’t have to keep record of loses to know when you should put a pause to a game. What happened to setting limit and the likes? And you successfully finished the money that was left in your custody for gambling.

I would have thought this was a fictional story, but I have known you for some time to be very accurate and realistic and I am sorry to say, the regard I always had just dropped. How could you play a game to the extent of exhausting what was kept for you to hold, I feel disappointed and I hope you learnt your lessons from that anyway.
