Hey.  I'm Mark, a full time trader. I will publish here my usual trades and any trading stuff I find useful (e.g. price analysis). This is result of several years of experience and the hints shared by my friends working at hedge fund. I've never believed that trading can become such a solid income source, but it's all possible.  Probably the info being posted here will be useful for you and also will motivate me more to push myself beyond my limits.

What application is that you use for tracking your portfolio value?

If you are asking about the chart, this is just an Excel masterpiece  Grin But tbh statistics in Excel seems for me too "stone aged"
Currently I'm testing one stats service, it's in beta version now. Will write you pm when it is ready for usage. Really cool thing.

Successful trading is like getting pregnant... Everyone congratulates you when you manage it but no one asks how many times you got fucked first.

TRADING RESULTS UPDATE

Cannot complain with the results. But, overall, no volatility and big movements. You need to be really catchy now to earn. Or just take a vacation

Detailed report on July trades is here: http://bit.ly/2OuIOFo
The one of August is coming.

Opened long on the level rebound. Expecting growth.
I am in there with you at that entry.

Had the same stop?
No, I went in at the same entry point but not with as ambitious as your exits.  The indicators used for making my decision to enter were: RSI, and two MA's with crossovers identified, and BOLL Bands.  No stop loss was set (because I used Binance).  My exits are set for: 1-3% profits and I will not change them, so they are just set and waiting for profit no matter how long it takes.  3% is very ambitious for me, so I am confident Bitcoin price will eventually go up.

Sounds like a well-established setup. Good luck!

As for BTC price, personally I'm waiting for it's growth in September (supposedly, middle of the month)

DEAL WITH SHARP TREND

I way saying many times to enter at the 3rd touch. But this is an exception. No way for 3rd touch of the trend. It is an abrupt trend, you can enter it eartier. Act like you are trading momentum. Your signals here are strong levels. Illustration is below (old trade).

One more time the market says that you can expect a lot, you can see the growth signals, but it can go the way it wants. That is why control your risks and do not hope for your kind luck.

Closed this yesterday.

This is for example where time limit will supposedly work.
Yesterday's trade. Hope for breakout. of the July strong level ($202). But volumes make me expect less... Anyway, the stop is already in the profit zone and time limit is imposed. ETH, clock is ticking.

Pump & Dump, Trump & Dump 👀
One of the market drivers

Just to remind you:
http://bit.ly/2MlONdY
http://bit.ly/33F1wOf

Maybe that's bad news, but here I also have pretty good news and I think this news is far more powerful for making a bitcoin pump. Well let's see what news is published today.
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-08-16/nyse-owner-to-offer-futures-that-pay-out-with-bitcoin-next-month

And look after the good news was released, bitcoin bounce back after being in the support area. As per my prediction that this time bitcoin will rise again, I hope it will rise even further. I am not suggesting that anyone follow my advice here, but this is only an analysis that I can describe.

Indeed it works. Bet this will inflience a lot. We'll see.
Great note mate!

Hello mate
As for the assets I trade, indeed mostly it is BTC and ETH (futures). Often use leverage, generally it is up to 20x as above it looks like margin call in a couple of movements. Prefer 6x, sth like that.
Not a fan of XRP but sometimes pay attention to it
Also I play with alts. Showed some trades with BNB, it went quite well... Still practice some scalping on alts(my childish habit lol)

And what are you keen on?
Thanks for taking time to write responses to my questions.

I mostly keep an eye on BTC/USDT using Binance.  After reading your posts yesterday I went ahead and placed a few orders with XRP/USDT and it worked out well.  Scalping is the foundation of my trading and I take small risks of 1% or less.  The last few days my orders have all cleared easily in the 1-2% range.  My trading methods are very cautious, organized, steady, and simple.

You are welcome!

Congrats then!
Yeah, scalping at Binance is one love.
What about futures? Not thinking of it?

As for your risk level, quite wise. It is not needed in the majority of cases to make the risk more. Specifically in scalping.
Caution, organization, and simplicity are the key, true.

These are great posts showing clearly your progress. I am trying to follow along closer.

I noticed that you also trade with XRP.  How many other pairs do you watch or trade?  Is it just BTC, ETH, and XRP?

Do you have a source for leads when these pairs are hot buys or are you simply working on your own?

The price is not such a mystery. It only pretends to be!
Can you expand upon that?  What is the meaning of pretends to be?

Huh i meant that the price moves not in a random way... meant that the levels can tell you a lot about the price future steps if you can read it correctly. Said that as my  prognosis on BTC came true

Hey, one more interesting point.
Look at Fear Index Dynamics:
http://bit.ly/2Kz0onJ
What is Fear/Index dynamics?  I have never heard of it. Do you honestly watch that FGI for your buy signals?

What exchange(s) are you using?  Is that Binance?

I have been very bearish since July with the parabolic pattern but I was looking at the Bitcoin chart today and it really looks possible that Bitcoin could be poised to shoot to the moon, soon...?

That's not the first question on Fear index, will make a separate post on that.

Bitmex & Binance mostly (the one where you see XBT is Bitmex. It enables margin trading)

As for BTC price, it's fluctuations in range of $8000-$16000 are quite possible and normal. Now it entered one more range. Need to observe more levels.
