I did few bounty rather than made an investment in Ico. I experienced that tokens that i got from bounty, most of them are become shitcoin. Even Still lots of altcoins are available in my wallet as dead. I also don't have any expectation from them. So it's not a bad decision to sold them when they are valuable in market

I sell all the coins because I need money on the one hand, everytime I sell the coins generated from the bounty campaign and at least to make up for my time while promoting their project. this every time i do it when i get it or while it has a good selling price.
Yes, and all the people who work as hunters in this forum on average also do almost the same things as you do, because they also don't want their time to be lost without any results, so the choice is to sell all the coins that already exist, especially if the price is in good shape.

I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.
Me dropping any coins is really a rare occasion. Most of the time its about to cash out profits.
But there are times when I'm really concerned about a project that its going to die shortly and I want to avoid losing those funds that I hold in its coins.
As I said, mostly I try not to dump any of them

for me, it depends on the project. if the project is not progressing at all, then selling the coins is the best thing to do because it could going even lower than current price. Projects from the past are mostly bad, not enough investors put their money on the project.
Now the DeFi hype around crypto, we can search for good coins or tokens to buy or participate on their bounty project.

I hold coins up to a point and sell them to buy other good coins, this also depends on the success rate of the project. holding on too long is not good especially if the project has no progress at all. selling is a good decision.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

I tink that ico tokens should be dumped either as soon as you receive it or some time after everybody else had dumped it)) in the 1st case you may be in time to sell it at a good price, in the 2nd- that it is gonna grow back a bit after bounty hunters had dumped it))

I only sell the coins that I don't see the future of, shitcoins with weird and weird names (like brrr for example).
I certainly don't sell promising coins like LINK, BAND, or like ETH or UNI. It makes no sense to me.
I believe in these projects.
Its simple for me, if the coins are not worthy to hold and likely to turn as shitcoin then better to let go while it has value.

But if its a coins that has potential despite of having low value for long time, its fine for me I will hold as long as its a well established since I know that it can recover in time.

Some of my coins are still no value no movement and still at the lowest price. They are usually dump at their situation but I'm still hoping thàt one day it will comes the big changes l.
Better if you don't hope that something like that happens. That's very rare and the percentage of chance that it will come to happen is lower than 1%.
Not discouraging you but only talking about reality so that there's no expectation for you.

I usually dump bounty tokens because there is no reason to hold it, specially when you the price is lower that the ICO price then why bother to hold it for long term. After selling it then I would buy other coins which I think I would be able to get more profitable rewards. But if the has the potentials I would only sell half of it and hold the other half.

I used to do it often because I hoped for instant money. I don't care about prices and future predictions.
for me if i am lucky then i will sell it immediately and dump is an instant move.
You have a decision about the coins in your wallet and I am sure everyone will trade coins based on analysis even if the tokens are obtained from the bounty. It doesn't matter if you sell it directly on the exchange as that's the decision, but I don't agree if the small allocation of the bounty causes a dump on the exchange.

All hunters don't do the same because I got rewards from bounty and the value was 50 USD now below zero USD. I didn't sell it even though I saw the price drop. If you love a project, then you couldn't sell the whole rewards that you got from bounty. My advice doesn't sell the whole reward, you should act like an investor.
Yes, it's good for those who want to act like investors, it's just that not everyone wants to act like that, because the average person wants to see opportunities in other places rather than sticking to the same project.

I dumped all my alt coins because the all went down hard.  Undecided I had the gift to buy only worse coins so I just stopped trading/holding all kind of alt coins. The only thing I got left are some worthless tokens which aren't even on the exchanges anymore. From now on online Bitcoin and the major altcoins for me.

don't worry man, we all have such a gift
when you are looking for a coin to invest
you see so many of them that your eyes run up
I threw money in there, there and there
and then I got zeros everywhere
I am as much a master of altcoin investing as you are

Nowadays there are way too much coins so it's too hard to pick out the right ones. Few years ago it was a lot easier with just a few altcoins.

Wasn't there someone who made a blog and hold all kind of altcoins for several years? The outcome was that only bitcoin made profit and almost all other coins were negative.

My personal I will dump the coin I got from bounty right away since I learned a hard reason that never spends too much affection for a single bounty no matter how good the profit it brings back.
Almost on average, bounty participants do not have much affection for the project they are participating in, because they only spend their time on projects, not spending money like investors do, so it would be very natural that the average bounty participants throw away their coins which they get from the bounty.

The reason why i still dumping my coins or my rewards is because in my opinion the price can be higher in the market next time. I wait until the right time to exchange it into money, so i can get higher money too.
Everyone has their own reasons for throwing away their coins, although the average goal is to avoid losses and seek profit at a later time with the money earned through discarding the coins, I think that's a very good step to take.
