My situation is similar , sometimes the reason i dump my coin is to invest in some token that has more potential ,   but sometimes is not, i sell just for money, the real money.
I regret not having sold a few kinds of coins, but keeping them in my wallet, now they just real number to me.

Well same as yours I also dump my coins if there is no progressing so there is chance that the project will fail or maybe turn to scam, I don't want to hold a coin for nothing.
the question is why you can have coins like that? from airdrop or bounty? if you get a lot of tokens or coins from airdrop and bounty and it doesn't work in your favor, it looks like you should be more careful in choosing projects. even those who already have value in the market can also disappear from the market when there is no more development.

Yes, I usually do some research beforehand whether the coin is worth keeping, if I see that this is the last chance before the coin is worthless, I will immediately sell it

I'm usually a holder I still coins and tokens I've got from Bounty campaign just like the two of the just recent projects I've participated in I'm still holding both of them but there are instances in the past that I dump my coins/tokens  because
The coin is not progressing and I want to buy coins that has more potential.

So what is or are your reason why you are dumping your coin?

Me too i always hold my coin either i got it from bounty or i invested my hard working money. But when i saw some project is not on the line ( not going as good as road map ) i will dump my coin, some timea i lost money on my investment, sometimes i got 100x. It is ok to not believe the project which not has any progress. But aometimes you just need the dev a time to figure how the project will go.

It is really up to the holder if he wants to dump most of his coins and tokens. We don't really have a say on their decisions because we really don't. It's their coin and they have all the right to dump it or not. Based on my experience my coins most of them have almost low to zero value for the most of 2019 so I decided to work on bounties that pay BTC and ETH. Good luck to the bounty hunters in finding good projects that would pay them good value tokens/coins.

I saw many project have high price in first time, but some days after price go very low. I think hold or sell depends on project. If project community are active, expert and always gives update on their social media then i hold that tokens. If team have no roadmap for future, team not active then i sell them.

I quitte with all those token projects. They sounds all promising and in the end you just hold some empty bags.

If you are holding any coin or token that has no good value it's always wise to leave them be in your wallet, crypto market is very bullish right now and even shitcoins can bring you good profits, Im saying this because of what happened in 2017, every single shitcoins starts pumping too

It is not right to hold bounty tokens completely. Because many hunters got several tokens. Hunters will usually dump prices when they sell tokens. There are many projects and they start selling the tokens kept for them.  So the price dumps more. Bounty tokens should be sold more.

Actually there is no compulsion or prohibition for someone to throw away or hold longer, or switch to another token which has a greater potential than the previous token, if it is better then I will turn to another token to find a better one, if that token there is no good progress, if I hold on for too long the thing that I am afraid of is that tokens are not valuable and eventually the tokens are not valuable at all and become trash, maybe everyone has their own reasons for this, one of which is feared that the token becomes worthless and becomes trash, if we switch at least there are tokens that we hold still have value at a later date ..

the question is have not you regret the idea that when you sold your coins/tokens suddenly got pumped and you have decided too early?

We have so many experiences about that but for me?it is better that I gain a little than waiting for too much and in the end losses is what I got.

We have learned from our past and you as senior member here?i know that your experiences and knowledge is above others like me.

If I have a coin that has no value maybe things I do is just leave it in my wallet, wait and venture to have more value and as what you did I will just look for another coin that will give me a good investment. But it stinks to find good coins and to avoid dumping them we should improve the research on these coins.

usually those who dare to dump coins in the market are bounty hunters,
we know from people's stories here, yes about the Youengine bounty,
if I analyze, the YOUC dump price is because of bounty hunters, I realize that,
because bounty hunters also need money, and their results sell it.

No need to buy new coins. Investments in such projects are very risky. It is much better to trade coins that have been on the market for a long time and have shown their best side.

Agreed. Success rate for new projects have dropped to all time lows. On top of that many of these new coins are either heavily manipulated, or very overpriced. As of now, there is no reason to go after these coins/tokens, when the established coins are giving good returns.  Investing in new projects right now is just like gambling, and it is something that I would avoid for now.
that is a big consideration for investors to be able to support new projects. when there is no big support from big companies that support a new project, of course, it will be difficult to achieve by a new project. When the market is very good, of course, assets that are very well established in the market are the priority of investors. it makes many current projects will be difficult to achieve success. of course it affects the new tokens we get from buying or from a campaign.

I'm a cryptocurrency lover,
I hold cryptocurrency all the time.
My losses are very low, because I do a lot of research before buying any coin or token of cryptocurrency.
I hold large amounts of Bitcoin.

Actually I recently dumped my shitcoins in my old wallet because for me they have no chance to recover, I'm talking about ROI more than -98% so the probability of it recovering is less than 1% where it can considered as impossible. I always make sure that I keep holding potential coins wherein there is guarantee that I will make profit if I will continue to hold it for more than 2 years.

I don't reset all project coins immediately after receiving them. But it is worth mentioning that over the past 2 years there have been only a few such projects. Of the recent ones, I can name Cartesi and DIA. DIA put on Binance in staking.

you sell DIA and Cartesi?, honestly that's what you shouldn't do,
because Cartesi has good grades now, and HE is also following Fomo from Defi,
do you regret dumping this coin now?

The number of scammers in the crypto market has increased so much that it is very difficult to give an accurate description of the projects holding tokens seems very unprofitable now that everyone is leaning towards bitcoin investing no one can say how much their value will increase. That's why i'm selling my coins i can get from leaving the price down it is very profitable most of the tokens are not in the market and the projects that are being launched are being scammed.
The scammers are actually rising and they are also becoming smart wherein they are continuing to deceive a lot of people that is the reason why we should also become a smart investor and also a smart bounty hunter. I love to participate in bounty projects that have potential where their services and products are really good. I will only dump the token that I have if I found that a certain project is not good or it doesn't have potential in the market.

if indeed the coin has a market price, of course it is better for us to sell it rather than hold it for longer, because from the experience there is very rarely bounty tokens have a good price after the ICO or token is released on the trading market and of course it will be very risky if we continue to hold it as a long as possible because usually the token price will experience a fairly drastic price drop due to a large sale by the investors and bounty participants. My principle is that it is better to sell cheap than hold it for longer and risk not getting anything at all
