At an early age is very harmful to drink, because the body has not yet fully formed. And in adulthood, alcohol does not have a very good effect on well-being. Although it depends on every organism, all people are different.

I don't encourage the consumption of alcohol by minors. But at the same time, it is ridiculous to move against the alcohol intake by the grownups. There are substances which are even more harmful than alcohol, such as sugar and common salt.
I disagree with you. Sugar and salt are not used in large numbers. You eat salty food? Or tea with 20 sugars drink? All the food in large quantities is harmful. About 30% of the world population suffer from overweight. But you must admit it is different.

Please compare the number of people who die from obesity, hypertension and diabetes every year, to the number of people who die from alcohol poisoning. You will find that the former number is many times the latter.

It all depends on ones health-situation. Stronger drinks like whiskey should always be consumed with moderation but beer and wine, especially red wine, have literally been around for ages so I guess they're fine as long you don't get too drunk, too often.

Im agree with it.
If you have some health problems like liver complication you cant drink alcohol.
But if you have no health problems you can drink alcohol but always be a responsible drinker.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

Many said that alcohol has a good effect to human body if you do it in moderation. But I think too much alcohol is not good to your health. Dringking too much alcohol may affect the function of your liver.

In all countries where alcohol is even such a weak how the wine is part of the national culture, a lot of alcoholics. It seems to me that the human body has a gene that allows to consume alcohol and not be dependent on him, and the damage to the body makes any excessive alcohol consumption.

At an early age, you must not prioritize drinking because it is not really good for your health, especially your kidney. Drinking is not bad, or wrong,  but it just need to be moderated.

For Drinking, there is a short and long term impact, After taking a few drinks one becomes confident all of a sudden and sometimes show some dance moves, after too many drinks, you may start to vomit all and everything that you have eaten that day. It makes your throat sore and you be uncomfortable the rest of the day. Too much drinking over the couples of years, affects the Brain, Heart, Liver and most organs of the body.

Alcohol is poison and here already as to whom will carry. Someone can drink literally every day and feel good, but will not live long. The body will slowly degenerate and in old age a person will be greatly tormented, but dependence will force him to drink more.
Alcoholics in more cases do not understand that he has an alcoholic dependence on alcohol, and if he understands, then he denies it in every way. There is a system of self-deception and illusions. Even few people drink alcoholic at this stage of the disease, as a healthy person. He is often considered the soul of the company or simply a cheerful person.
Is the concept of drunkards and alcoholics. A drunkard is a person who as you say loves a drink and the soul of the company, and the alcoholic will not be the soul of the company. It is always drunk and grumpy people all thoughts are occupied with search of alcohol.

If taken in moderate quantities, alcohol will have no impact on your lifespan. Also, researchers have found no connection between the consumption of alcohol, and the incidence of diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.

every thing in limit is good for health.

Your right.Drinking too much has no good benefit.Well according to doctors your body also needs to consume some alcohol. Now that the doctors advised to drink alcohol it should be healthy, besides it depends on the person if your going to drink an alcohol everyday. But drink moderately
What in your understanding? Doctors say about 25-50 grams per day. You is not going to help. So to say that drinking should be in moderation is the same as not drinking at all. Do you agree?
It is wrong Interpretation topics regarding doctors. If a person is drinking every day to 25 grams of vodka, it will still lead to alcoholism.

Its really a wrong interpretation,25-20 grams per day?are you kidding serious?it will become a habit and you know what?it will increase dosage because your no longer contented with that little dosage and what?leads to greater problem,And 1 thing i want to ask whose that kind of doctor recommends that kind of method to avoid alcoholism and the besides its daily?seriously.

If you drink too much beer, it would later accumulate in your body. The malt from beer will make your tummy bigger. It will also get your uric acid high - which will cause gout and arthritis. Don't forget about the impact to your liver. Some people who are long time drinker have alcohol dependencies, or addiction.

Beer is just a beverage, and is no more harmful than Coca-Cola. I wouldn't even classify beer and wine as alcoholic drinks. But it is true that if you drink too much beer, then your tummy will become bigger.

As with everything else in our lives the most important thing is to find a balance. You know how they say, every poison in small doses is a medicine and every medicine in large doses is a poison. Some people even recommend drinking a glass of wine after the lunch.

At my previous job I was working night shifts (midnight to 8 am), and my problem was that my soul was sleeping at around 4-5 am but after 6-7 there would be sunrise and I was sharp awake and I couldn't sleep. So I find out that if I drink one beer after the shift I would sleep like a baby Smiley
It is self-deception. If you have insomnia then this is most likely due to the fact that you had some thoughts which did not allow you to disable the brain activity. Alcohol just relaxed. Gradually the dose will need to increase and this can lead to alcoholism.

I worked 4 years that job and I never had to increase the dose to achieve the same effect. In general I never had insomnia and that was not case here. It was only due to fact that because of the sunrise my body thought it was time to wake up and not to go to sleep. But yes, that one beer relaxed my mind and was able to easily fall asleep. BTW I managed to achieve almost the same effect with a large cup of warm chocolate milk, but I just prefer the beer  Cheesy
