I don't think you've become more aggressive cause of playing games. I've been playing violent games my whole life and I would never harm a fly. Regarding your health, technology can definitely have it's impact on it, sitting too many hours in front of the computer is not good for your health (back especially) and by sitting all day inside you avoid social contact, which means you become less apt to communicate with other people, which can be a contributors as well when you said that "you've changed". In general, try to find a good balance between the two, if possible, go out once in a while and meet some friends to make sure you socialize a bit, don't do it for your friends, do it for yourself. And if possible try to run once a week, it will help you feel better (get that back moving) and running has proved to lower the symptoms and chances of become depressed.. you have nothing to lose, just give it a go Smiley

I think it is possible for a person to change personality when he/she gets too attached on technology?
I'm a gamer and I prefer violent gore games when playing on my computer, I think that affected that way I speak and treat others in a more aggressive way and IT's really not a nice change.
It is true. A person can change it's personality through being too attached to technology, it starts with the attitude of the person towards his/her goals, their goals will be ignored because of the use of technology, and this causes addiction. Addiction is what changes the person, it is what influences the peesonality of a person. Like in your example, a person is playing violent gore games, It can affect how they see life, why? because they become addicted to it. And it results in them being also violent, and this is a negative change of personality.

Affects all not only for health, this vision is first, because we do not sit for 2 hours at the computer per day, the second is necessarily nerves. Especially playing all kinds of horror. Third, look at how many people just go out and calmly shoot at people like in games, that's the effect on the brain. So you have to be careful with this and understand everything, and do not go head over to the virtual.

Yes, it is important to guard your heart and soul from evil imagery and ideas. Another area where technology has a negative impact on health is physically, the eyes from staring at tv/computer/phone screens for hours a day.

Technology has its advantages and disadvantages. I think though it is important to remember that technology is a tool that we use. In our modern world, it has been integrated into our daily lives. Technology has brought us a lot of wonderful things. I would like to put emphasis that our unhealthy usage of technology has some social and health implications. Computer vision syndrome for instance which includes a whole range of eye strain and pain. We can do something about these though. We created all these things and so we have power over them. Being mindful of our relationship with technology is always a good place to start. There has been a concern how technology brought social isolation but we also need to realize that technology has also brought a way for people in a different manner. I wrote a paper about this in school. Yes, it is true our relationship with technology has become a lot of times a great barrier to our interpersonal relationships. We do have control over this. For instance, in the evening we can turn off our phone when we go to bed. That is probably one of the best a person can do for his/her health. Moreover, putting down the phone during mealtime and making time for at least 30 minutes every day to spend time with our loved ones without us being on the phone all the time/laptop/computer/tablet. Additionally, always find the time to get up from your chair if you are working in front of the computer all day long. Take a 30 minutes break and walk around. Or once in a while stand up while you are working on the computer.

I'll take cellphone and internet as examples. Using cellphone and internet at night gives me trouble sleeping. It keeps me up until 3am and leaves to just having 4 hours of sleep before going to work. This just one of the many impacts and effects of technolgy in my health.

Yes with your gaming example but the truth is you are not violent because of the games you play but your violent nature makes you choose.

Technology has a good and bad impact. I am also a gamer, I think the impact is we who determine it, we should be able to filter which one in the example and which is not. do not forget to keep dividing the time to socialize and get together with family

as mentioned above too much radiation exposure, bad for your spine if you're sitting too much, can be bad to your eyes and so much other stuff but you can't avoid technology nowdays, you just can't mate

I have an idea what you are talking about. In a normal day, I spend around 14-15 hours in front of my laptop and this got me in to serious trouble a few months back. I had severe pain on the back of my head. The physician told me that I should use a larger monitor. Ever since I started using a big monitor, the pain has gone. Don't know for how long.

I also spend a lot of time on the laptop and my neck sometimes hurts, if I forget to go to yoga classes and hurt my eyes if I forget to use eye drops. My doctor advised me to take a break for 1-2 minutes every half hour in order to walk a bit or spit.
