Buying presale coins are risky but if the project suceeds, it will be of course worth it. Researching more about the project, the developers, the owners and the overall goal of the project helps a lot to determine if the project will succeed. If the goal is too far fetched, and the owners promise too good to be true deal, I don't think many will buy it on presale.

It is very risky to buy coins when the presale does not guarantee it will work or not. Even though there are promises to make it successful, there are still many teams that leave the project even though they have promised so it cannot be confirmed. think again about buying coins in presale because the decision is yours.

Usually, I do background check for its team since that will determine if the project will survive and will become persistent amidst its offering. Once I verified that their identity is real and they don't have any bad record, I consider checking their whitepaper and also their support. If their support isn't responsive and they aren't communicating investors professionally, chance is that they are more likely to be scammer. Legit team will answer any questions of its investors/potential investors no matter how many it is professionally

I agree with you . At this point, we need to consider when investing and if the project works well in this market, it will be a worthwhile investment to wait for in the future. I often research a lot in investing and are always ready psychologically if that coins doesn't get what I want. One of my considerations in investing in a project is the partnership they have. If a project has a partnership with a large company, I think the project will be more successful in the market because it can produce products faster and have good planning.

Invest in pre sale time have advantage and disadvantage, when you investing on pre sale you can get much bonus because almost ICOs give about 50% bonus for investor in pre sale time, but you get disadvantage with investing on pre sale where you have waiting very long to get your coin listed on exchange market, maybe if you have saving money you can invest on pre sale time but always with top ICOs.

I was part of a small investment group made up of 10 nationals from different counties, although we focused more on private sales than presale but we focused more on few keys things like, team transparency and reputation, project strength and reach across the industry as well as how good the MVP was, we also look at he VC investors and backers/partners, possible exchange listing, lock up durations and more importantly, the bonus size to determine the overall venture profitability

Every legit coin is "perfect". I mean the idea is promising, the project has great potential, and the dev team are serious and has a solid goal in mind. But all those three will fade away if the public and the investors did not catch the idea. It will be all fall to the promotion and how well the public will respond. As presale, te project needs something that will interest the potential investors before it can be funded for its launch.
