It can also depends on the browser you use and also on the addons you may have installed on that browser.
Lately, I have seen people, friends of mine rather using dedicated apps to watch videos on Youtube without ads interrupting their videos, perhaps you are also interested on that. There is Free Youtube and Newpipe, for example, though, I think that if the gambling nature of the advertisements is the problem, it would be enough just to switch off your preferences, as I showed you earlier.
Actually it's quite easy to avoid gambling ads on YouTube by subscribing to YouTube premium, but the problem here is that we have to pay to avoid gambling ads and there are other problems like gambling ads not only appearing on YouTube but also on Google when searching for something we want to find.
I read from several people that there are lots of free ways to avoid gambling ads by means of special applications or cryptic browser methods.

Normal people like me will never subscribe to youtube premium, why do we spend money on Youtube premium only to avoid gambling ads ?
By the way, even if you somehow do not see the gambling ads, there may be other ads that will be shown to you by youtube. So in any case, unless you have paid and opted for the youtube premium, you will have to watch the youtube ads.

Anyways if the gambling sites are paying youtube to display their ads, we have to cope with it because this is another form of marketing by the casino's.

It's hard to avoid gambling ads but the best that we can do is just to ignore them or as much as possible, do not feel interested in them because most scammers are now using gambling advertisements to deceive people so we must also be skeptical. They will exist everywhere on the internet but we have to deal with it as it is part of the marketing innovation but we shouldn't get hooked to their promotions.

Ads are the way this apps we use to watch videos make their money so where are we so bothered about them when they didn't do us any harm. It's just like signature on the forum, they're there to advertise to their targeted audience. You're not one of them so you shouldn't be bothered.

If you're so displeased by this ads then subscribe to an advance form of the apps like premium privilege that removed the ads. I actually love watching ads while I'm using any platform. I won't be displease if the ads aren't scams or ponzi schemes. If they're genuine I'm okay with them.

I have also seen an increase in gambling ads on youtube but I think that's just the online casino trying to get their potential customers attention. Online gambling is becoming big and now casino need to spend money advertising so they can attract customers to their own casino.

I have tried it recently and it is true that the advertisements that usually appear frequently have disappeared and are no longer visible.
But when I open YouTube there are still advertisements showing up although not as often as before.
But that's okay because I also very rarely use YouTube lately because when I open YouTube it only gives me curiosity to see streamers broadcasting their gambling sessions.

By the way, thank you for the advice and also the tutorial that you have given, buddy.

I don't know about that and what is clear is that advertising does bother some people who are using cellphones or PCs when accessing a website.
Yes, there is a YouTube service that pays or has a monthly subscription, but this will increase expenses if using YouTube, we only watch live broadcasts or other videos.
If to watch a live broadcast of a sports match I prefer to use another application instead of using YouTube.

There have been many advertisements that I have come across over the years and they are all so different that it makes me a little sick.

Gambling and casino are not only advertised on YouTube but when you start watching a video on Facebook you will see gambling and casino ads in between. It's annoying for us but an important promotion mechanism for gambling and casinosites.
Indeed, it is not only in ads but most of the time this so called influencers insert some clips of some gambling sites in their vlog showing that they are winning, sometimes they also give small amount of money and people will use that as initial deposit but the most common problem is they cannot withdraw the money they have earned. Gambling are now being advertise everywhere even those not regulated ones.
The business model will always be more advanced , here adsense Anywhere can give Benefits to one with the Inconvenience of others, it seems to me that Youtube is very annoying with the ads, and it just so happens that I don't get ads from casinos, I would really like them to come out of casinos, but I get music or things like that , Apart from everyone has how to invest their money and their way of Monetizing , obviously YouTube uses advertising to maintain itself, it's not bad , I think that this publicity is not only on Youtube but on all the M,st Common Social Networks and those that we all Use at some Point.

There are a lot of advertisements on YouTube these days. Which are annoying to most users. I've heard several software that prevents YouTube add-ons from auto-playing. But I don't know how effective these software will be. Because it is normal that free software will not work properly. If the premier software can be used then such ads can be prevented from being seen. Although it is simple, most of the users can't prevent from seeing such ads, maybe many people still don't know about it.

Youtube will connect your cookie use on that browser to select the best adverts to give themselves revenue and click through highest probability.  This is why Google is so rich, they are constantly doing customer survey on your activity when using their services.
Basically if you have any connection to gambling sites, even just a search they are more likely to forward adverts to you of that type.  Some even say they monitor voice use.
Now that's what happens when we often search for or access gambling on cellphones or PC.
And actually this kind of advertisement is very disturbing in my opinion and sometimes it just makes me feel emotional.
If there was anything I could do to stop those unwanted ads I would do it because ads popping up on their own all the time is just annoying.

But this is a method or marketing strategy and is also used by some media to be able to get paid for the advertisements that appear, so it's only natural that many social media always link advertisement all of a sudden.

If you are not willing or you would rather not to use an ad-blocker to avoid all kinds of annoying ads, then I would like to let you know that in your Google account there is a privacy section where you can administer your ad preferences, and delete those you do not want to see anymore.

Last time I checked, Google listed I liked languages, Economics, Politics, etc. And I take the task to uncheck those that did not met my interest. You should check that out, it could help you.

Using incognito is an effective way to get rid of frequent ads. Clearing the browsing history is also a good move. However, it is undeniable that gambling ads exist on different social media platforms nowadays. Even if you're just watching a video clip, gambling ads will pop up. This is their marketing strategy and their main target is the active social media users.

It's hard to avoid gambling ads but the best that we can do is just to ignore them or as much as possible, do not feel interested in them because most scammers are now using gambling advertisements to deceive people so we must also be skeptical. He can also use opera mini or brave browser these browser has a anti malicious ads that can be filtered so easily. if he is using chrome he can install extension that can block those ads, I never encountered frequent ads here in safari maybe it only happens in chrome I am not sure though. But again if he don't want pop up ads play in opera mini or brave .

Thats why on the time that i do make out some youtube research then i do always prefer on making use of that private window or incognito on which i dont really like for my browsers on saving up on what i do search
or throwing out those recommendation which is basing or in connection on what i had searched earlier. It would really be just that normal that they would be throwing out those kind of ads basing up on what you had searched or basing on whats the interest of that current user. This is why if you do see that gambling based more ads whether on youtube or any other platforms then this is most likely that they
would really be showing off those ads but somewhat we could really be able to avoid with those pesky ads if you wanted to, considering that there are some report or hide buttons somewhere or
you could simply skip out.
using an incognito window is one great way to avoid using cookie data in every browser we've ever explored.
maybe there are lots of ways to avoid gambling ads like this but for me a fairly simple and easy way is to use an incognito window like you do because it's faster without having to use anything and it's safer for me.
sometimes I feel embarrassed when I often open gambling sites when I open YouTube or any application that requires advertising will shockingly advertise gambling and when I'm out of the house I feel disturbed by the ad.
We can't really stop these ads in its entirety. What we can do is reduce the visit to these sites. You mentioned using incognito tabs, that too is a good way to avoid having the loads of these ads pop up every time.
I understand what our OP here must have been going through.
There's also the possibility that you set your browser to remember your history, I would suggest you clear this too or set your browser to clear browse data on these sites even YouTube, once you are done.

If care isn't taken in most cases, these ads are phishing sites that by mistakingly clicking on it could be a welcome door for hackers or scammers to take hold of your data.

Good point, if ads being click mistakenly the chance that it will be an opening for a possible hacker to penetrate, it's very important that you are really paying attention and if by mistake you should always clear your browsing history and make sure that your device is protected with any available anti virus that you have.

Though it's something that is more on the business side and those ads are being paid by the owners still annoying and still have that possibility that they are using it as front side but in the backdoors they are trying to penetrate to your device.

You certainly have a lot of market value to defend here. If you can manage to get into the YouTube advertising circle, you will get a lot of customers on your channel. But gambling is not allowed everywhere, so that seems to me to be a big problem at the moment. But it's a matter of knowing people and building a connection, that usually makes things a lot easier. Many well-known platforms do not accept it if you want to have a gambling site regulated by law and regulations.
If gambling is not allowed everywhere, of course there will be no advertisements that appear because the chances for people who see these advertisements to be interested are zero, gambling is prohibited only as a place and everything can be tricked with VPN and others, that's why gambling advertisements massive but the appearance of this ad while someone is watching YouTube is dependent on your search on the internet because usually it will be connected, so I can say that those who can only do a search about religion have a small chance of seeing gambling ads but when someone has done a search about games and something that has to do with gambling then it will show ads when you view youtube, so it doesn't increase just depending on your search.

It is because of this that even if we know that trying to remain completely private online is a lost proposition we must still do something about it, Google and many other companies have the incentive to keep anyone that uses their services using them for as long as possible, as the more data they obtain the more they can profit from you, so they engage in all kind of practices which can be considered to be incredibly intrusive, so even if we cannot protect ourselves completely from those practices we must still make an effort to reduce their impact in our online experience.

I'm asking out of curiosity, are you guys experiencing a surge of gambling ads on youtube videos lately? this past week I've experienced an increased encounter of gambling ads on videos I watch on youtube. it's not that it bothers me, I am just surprised because I don't remember getting this many gambling ads on youtube videos in the past, but this past week, I usually get a gambling ad from 2-3 out of 5 videos I watch(it's just an estimation because of how often I get the ads). I don't know if it is because I recently watched several videos of streamers gambling or it's just a coincidence, I've watched streamers gambling videos in the past but I have never gotten this many gambling ads.

I mean google probably sells information about your history to most of the websites and then your gonna get gambling website ads, I didn't try it yet since I don't really gamble a lot, but if the algorithm finds you interested in gambling website it might be the one that you're going to get on your youtube ads right? But your kind of right since I don't really experience it or probably I'm just not interested in gambling anymore. As far as I know, gambling has a huge restriction on Youtube so probably they have ways that bypass the algorithm.

But most of the gambling websites paid to get advertise on a lot of social media and websites, even on streamers they paid influencers to get advertising on their video, gambling website is huge in my country since facebook influencers here are huge and get paid to advertise even phishing website and not get involved on cases, so this wasn't really surprising to see this kind of gambling ads online anymore.

It is because of this that I consider the use of a VPN important, just because people were interested in a topic before that does not mean they are always going to be interested on it, one common complain among those which developed an addiction is that as they are trying to recover from those issues they are served ads related to their addiction in all kind of social media platforms, so basically they are tempted all the time to go back to their old habits, however if those people had used a VPN to hide that information from companies like Goggle then their internet experience will not be hindered to such an extent.

I consider using VPN but I guess it wouldn't really matter since it was just a matter of how are you going to handle yourself, I mean a single advertisement doesnt really mean that you're going to start gambling already, All of it just depends on your discipline, I watch a lot of advertisement but I only click a few that I'm really interested in. But I guess since gambling advertisements are probably restricted in a lot of platforms. This advertisement surely picks some of the people that already have an interest in gambling giving them a higher chance of traffic on their promotions.

It's going to be difficult to hide your information in advertisements I don't think using VPN is gonna solve everything, I mean if you really want to gamble this advertisement would actually work on you for sure. I mean google run most of the platform on the internet so hiding information is probably impossible, and at the same time they run most of the ads.
