The buyer of that 1/1 glossy has tremendous leverage over the seller.  Seller having a zero rating will always lose out any dispute.

Theoretically,  the buyer could just say it is fake and return an empty envelope.   Seller if this is retarded to you, video tape mail person handing it to you and you opening it. I've done that on sketchy deals.

Should have sold here using escrow.

Good luck on selling that un-authenticated card with no feedback.  The seller would stand to make much more by having someone escrow the transaction, and/or have it validated by PSA first.

Ebay has pretty good return policy on items not as described.   If someone was to buy it and pay for 2 day PSA grading service,  it takes a month for return.

You guys go first. Lol

It appears to be glossy on the back so I would say it is most likely authentic Smiley

Absolutely! Zero feedback history? No, thank you. Send it to PSA for official authentication and/or professional grading. What would that cost? An extra $50 on the low side? Then auction it for a lot more cash! Grin

A black mini appears in the wild.  Already up to $200, should be fun to watch.  https://www.ebay.com/itm/173639564106

Only 7 minutes left!  Grin

Me

DISCLOSURE: This is NOT my card, I am NOT seller 25ss52 (although I am fond of palindromes), and I have NO idea who the seller may be. I'm simply giddy when it comes to these cards. Wink

Me either, but now that card is like worth half of what it was on the last auction, no?

Edit - This is pretty cool too.... Watching... Grin  https://www.ebay.com/itm/2018-Allen-Ginter-3-Card-Mini-Strip-Cryptocurrency/352512775973

Certainly a great card that would compliment the original size blank back, kind of like a set.  Not sure if there is an ultra card holder that it will fit into but,  was a nice pickup for someone.

The black mini's have only gone in the 300 range, I think there is one on ebay asking 599.00, but you really have to look closely at these black mini's , only two have been graded and they came in at 9.  I'm sending some in and hope I get a 10 on one of them.

Will be nice to know that... Smiley

Picked one up for 15.00, well worth it to know what the back of the card feels like, if it is glossy or more cardboard like.   Roll Eyes

I'm going to pick up an inexpensive 1/1 mini glossy to see if the back is glossy also.  On the regular mini the back feels more like cardboard so that will help greatly in knowing if there is a difference.  Will keep everyone posted with the results. Roll Eyes

Baseball card prices always drop a little after the post-season, but they always pick up again at Christmas time. Then they drop over the winter months. Then back up again during spring training. However, these are not really baseball cards, IMHO. These are crypto-collectibles, so they're not subject to the same seasonal swings. Personally, I think this auction ended at a time when most people simply forgot or otherwise missed the chance to snipe. Heck, I almost forgot too. Regardless, someone got a good price on a good card. Congratulations, whomever!

We need scientific analysis on this. How do we know it is not mini base with homemade markings?? Dolphriends where are you??? Invoke the bat signal

Cautious here, this is the one card I would have concerns even if it is authenticated over at PSA unless there is something about the card other than the blue ink felt tip 1/1 written on the back.  I would want to know from PSA if they have a way of testing the ink or something otherwise I probably wouldn't be a player for the card.  Hope this helps everyone Smiley

Yeah now that I look harder, I'm not seeing any gloss there. It looks like the base card with writing on it..... A picture at an angle might show it, but I'm gonna guess it's not real for now, just because why would a newbie post about it here? I probably wouldn't have posed about it until I had it graded either, just cuz I know all you guys are as cautious af...
