Received my unit today from Zoomhash. It is definitely a different build from the one I saw on another site that one mush have been a prototype. But Zoomhash.com is straight thanks for a honest transaction. Now if you can get the price between 250 and 275 constant shipped that would be awesome. Also came with a usb cable as a bonus.

The controller seems to be only stable controlling 9 of these units not 10.
. Just landed and I have a huge backlog of emails, will go through these one by one even if it means no sleep for me tonight.
Well, I mean im probably not going to sleep tonight anyways because of jet lag. haha.

just out of curiosity, if my order status says "unfulfilled" does that mean it hasn't shipped yet or hasn't arrived? Just curious because the sooner order #1333 gets here and verified the sooner I can get more

Yeah, You need a couple Delta 120CFM fans to move some air away in dual mode.
FWIW, the 4U case I put 8 of them inside of has 6 120mm fans on the incoming air side and lots of air holes on the backside. Didnt matter much to these things, they got warm quick. I took the lid off of the case and they are fine now.
I'm going to find another permanent home for them outside of the case. The 3 I have sitting out in the open stay so cold that you wouldnt notice that they were running if it wasnt for the fans!
I've seen people say that they don't even need fans in scrypt mode only. Is this true in your experience?
This is true.
I used an IR probe and ran in scrypt only at 74F ambient. The core temp stayed under 86F at 800 clock. You could cut off the fans as long as you had some airflow for scrypt only mode.
I think with 100Watts for 10 you could cool them with under 50 cfm total.
thanks for the info. I may throw a thermocouple on there and do some monitoring/recording of my own as well. I'm sure you can do a simple fan modification to add speed adjustment also
