I just found out that Dorival Junior earns 1.8 million reais a month. Or 22 million a year. This guy has done nothing and is one of the highest earners in the world. Not even the current Argentine champion coach earns that much. I've already found out why everyone is so unwilling: they are rewarding him for his poor performance.

The stadium will be empty as long as the team is not good, that is a fact. The CBF urgently needs to do something, otherwise they will only suffer defeats and a drop in profits.

There is not much that can be done because what happened is one of the most serious things that could happen: a loss of trust. The Brazilian fans have lost confidence and no longer believe that the Brazilian team can be a great team again. After the 7-1 and all the defeats and ridiculous performances, it will be difficult to regain confidence again... and even with the team playing well, the fans will still not believe. It is a process that takes years to "normalize".

Now the noise is getting more and more about their performance, and we also have news about Ronaldo who is looking for becoming president of the CBF with having vision of bringing revolutionary changes in team for better results its look like good move if we have this in coming months.

With if we also have Guardiola as new coach of this team things can take good change, and they can bring better results because now its important part of their survive at the top level of soccer.
Forget it, there is no chance of a coach like Guardiola being the coach of the brazilian national team, there is no advantage for him. He even turned down the offer when he had the chance, he must have been very well informed about how corrupt the CBF is.

The funny thing is the price of the ticket to watch the game, it's completely absurd and the stands in brazil are practically empty.

I am really surprised as we have Carlos Ancelotti related with Brazilian job Real Madrid give him extension now as we have some noise about Pepe Guardiola he is also having extension from the Manchester City its fascinating who is next for having link with this job and going to take good advantage of taking extension in his job.

Look Like we will be having long crisis in this team in near future as no one want to go here and do job even once this was honor to have job of this team in any particular way.

It really does make sense. But I don't think it's just that. There are more things involved, the national team isn't that important for them to extend contracts just based on rumors. The CBF itself, in Ancelotti's case, said it didn't make any formal request.

The funny thing is the price of the ticket to watch the game, it's completely absurd and the stands in brazil are practically empty.

I also noticed that the stadium was practically empty during the last game. It shows that Brazilian fans have practically abandoned the Brazilian team. And it's not even because of the price of the ticket, because nowadays, even with expensive tickets, if the game is good and the fans are excited, the stadium is naturally packed... But what happens is that the Brazilian team has been showing a huge lack of credibility in recent years. No fan can stand this. They already know that the performance will be bad, that the team is bad... so it doesn't make sense to spend money to go and watch a horrible game like practically all of the Brazilian team's games have been.

I believe that the only options we will have are renowned coaches at the end of their careers or courageous coaches who want to get a team back on track that hasn't won a cup in almost 10 years, if I'm not mistaken. The challenge is huge, and I don't think the CBF wants to spend a lot of money on it, but the marketing would be immense.

The situation of the Brazilian national team is not good at least when it comes to performance in games. Of course they are benefiting from the fact that there are many national teams in this group that have been performing very poorly, which allows Brazil to continue in a good position to qualify for the World Cup. But it is clear that something needs to be done so that the Brazilian national team can perform well again. In my opinion the solution would be to break this tradition that they should only have national coaches in the national team. They need to test a foreign coach and if things go well, then they could keep the foreign coach.

I agree, if it were any qualifier where all the teams were stronger, Brazil would have already come in last and been disqualified. However, if they continue like this, they won't even make it to the round of 16 of the World Cup with this performance.
There's nothing to be done, the only way is to wait for the next World Cups, it's not even worth cheering or watching the World Cup games and getting angry for nothing.

The funny thing is that here in brazil, brazil's World Cup games are like national holidays, you get off work on the day (or from the time of the match) so you can go watch brazil's game. I don't know if it's the same in your country.

However, when brazil is disqualified from the knockout stage, you're no longer excused hahaha

Now the noise is getting more and more about their performance, and we also have news about Ronaldo who is looking for becoming president of the CBF with having vision of bringing revolutionary changes in team for better results its look like good move if we have this in coming months.

I think I can speak for the majority of Brazilians, and no one is satisfied with the Brazilian national team
Yesterday against Uruguay the fans booed the team a lot and it wasn't so much for the game itself, because Uruguay is always a strong team to play against, but it was a boo for everything that has happened so far, mistake after mistake by everyone involved, from the president of CBF to the players

I think they can fire the coach again and start again a new work, and we are only 1,5 years to the World Cup, and unfortunately Brazil can't play in high level anymore, the best thing to do is bet against Brazil and gain some money  Embarrassed

What a piece of shit are the FIFA by allowing it and the Bolivian federation of football by playing at not healthy altitude, only to take advantadge of that. Beatiful to see Paraguay not losing against them.

They cant win in La Paz so they went much more higher.

I remember taking part in this discussion a couple of times  Cheesy
It's very difficult to play in La Paz. The stadium is 4090 meters above the sea, and it's the 2nd, only losing to Daniel Alcides Carrión in Peru  Shocked
The Bolivians have used this strategy a lot in the qualifiers and Libertadores, and many Brazilians have suffered there

It's a complicated situation to solve and perhaps it will never be solved, but I'm glad that year after year, teams have learned new techniques to minimize the effects of altitude and not suffer as in the past
I remember some difficult matches in Libertadores

I'll make a better post in a few hours, but looks like Venezuela has completely lost its pace
Although they didn't lose to Brazil or Argentina, they lost easier games and are now out of the qualifying zone

Yes i dont know what really happen to Venezuela, they lose some power, but managed to not lose against the two giant of the continent.

Chile seems to have a second live and chance with this wina gainst Venezuela, they are only 4 points away from Bolivia who is currently in the last spot to qualification.

Yesterday I bet that it would be Uruguay or a draw with odds of 2.20 and that there would be -1.5 goals. I was wrong once but it ended up paying off a little. I've told you here several times, the Brazilian team isn't going anywhere with the current coach, nor with the current strategies. You can always bet against it.

In the Brazil vs Uruguay match, Uruguay has attacked very strongly at the moment and they are in a good position to get points. In today's match, there was a tense fight between the two teams in the first half but neither team could score a goal. However, after halftime, the Uruguay team attacked strongly against Brazil and was already able to score a goal which helped Uruguay to move ahead compared to Brazil. In today's match, although the Brazil team attacked a lot but they could not succeed, but Uruguay succeeded in attacking. In today's match, the Brazil team must win against Uruguay otherwise they will fall behind in the points table, moreover, they should attack strongly at the moment. Brazil is a strong team currently and is not able to improve their performance, so if they cannot attack strongly in today's match, they will not be able to respond to Uruguay's goal.

This match was a very exciting fight between the two teams for which the game ended in a draw until the last minute. I watched the game and in this match, the exciting fight between the two teams in the first half of the game, no one was able to score a goal, but after half time, the game created more excitement between the two teams. Especially when Uruguay managed to score a goal, the Brazil team was fighting with more excitement and responded to that goal again with their strong attack. However, in this game, I thought that maybe Brazil would win but until the last minute they could not bring their victory with a strong attack, here the Uruguayan goalkeeper made a lot of saves. Brazil shot 18 targets in today's match, and Uruguay shot only 8 targets, Brazil do it try enough and did not get a win, which is why the points had to be shared between the two teams today.
Brazil was left in debt again, having to drag themselves through the game to get a draw. Brazil is having more draws than consecutive wins, this is bad. Imagine how disastrous this could be if they don't get back into the game.

A World Cup qualifier match was between Argentina vs Peru. I was confident that Argentina is stronger than Peru so Argentina will beat Peru. In the end, Argentina managed to beat Peru 1-0. Today's match was at Argentina's home ground so Argentina took advantage of the opportunity. Argentina lost against Paraguay in the last match. But today Argentina beat Peru. Neither team managed to score in the first half today but Lautaro Martínez scored for Argentina in the 55th minute of the second half. In the end, Argentina won with 1 goal from Lautaro Martínez. Argentina retained the top of the points table with a total of 25 points after their win today. On the other hand, Brazil drew against Uruguay today. Brazil dropped one step in the points table to 5th place.

As I said, the team is not good enough. The game that we all said would be a clear victory was a defeat for Brazil. This draw against Venezuela is a clear defeat.

If I were you, I would continue betting against this team. It will never work with this coach or with the players unmotivated.
Yes you are right and the result is very beyond expectations with Brazil failure to win, on the other hand Argentina also experienced the same thing with 2 - 1 defeat from Paraguay which made many people feel disappointed with all these results.
Seeing the Brazil squad filled with fairly perfect line-up of players but they lack confidence to be able to play optimally, managed to dominate the game but failed to get goal advantage with the various opportunities they got, I pessimistic whether Brazil will be able to qualify easily later.
The Brazilian national team is but embarrassment, the people to blame for this have a name: CBF and a surname: Dorival Junior. The vast majority of these players spent most of their careers playing in Europe, so they need to be trained by a European coach. If they hire a Brazilian coach, the team will never be able to perform well. The way these players are trained is completely different from the way they are trained in Brazil...
Haha this is the umpteenth time saying about the poor performance done by the CBF in handling Brazil, they even can't see the potential that needs to be developed by utilizing great European coach to be able to bring Brazil to have more modern quality of play and be able to compete in structured way in utilizing the many great players they have.
And this is the first time for Dorival Junior to handle the Brazil national team, he failed and he worked very badly so far but what is happening now still shows the CBF trust and belief in Dorival Junior abilities, they really throw away and waste the players who should have been able to shine for the International event.

Yes, it sounds really repetitive lol  Cheesy Cheesy but I have a huge frustration with this Brazilian team, I started following the Brazilian team in the mid-90s, and it's sad to see the current team. About Dorival Junior I think I've already commented here, but in Brazil he's always been known as a coach who saves teams in crisis, that is, a team is on the verge of collapse in the championship, they hire him because he's a good locker room manager... however it's clear to see that his teams don't even have a standard of play, just talk and caresses don't win championships, championships are won with tactical talent mixed with individual skills.

I really hope that after this failure with Dorival they start thinking about a really good foreign coach again. Because there's no point in hiring just anyone just because he's a foreigner. They have a lot of money, they can fight for a top coach.

The CBF is one of the most corrupt entities in Brazil. I don't think any truly honest coach would accept working there, except for someone like Dorival, who is honest, of course, but needs to boost his career... a coach who is already established in world football wouldn't need that.
