Long time lurker, first time poster. I've been actively involved in bitcoin since I bought a BFL single FGPA and preordered their 60 GH/s ASIC back in July 2012. I do post sometimes on reddit.com/r/bitcoins, but not super often (and not under this same handle) I've been aware of bitcoin for quite a while, because of the publicity it got in Wired, Ars tech, etc. I have no classical financial or computer science education (I have a career in medecine), but I'm a curious type and have learned a lot in my spare time. I'm interested in eventually opening a bitcoin related business, but I have a lot to learn before that. That's about it.
