First discovered Bitcoins about two months ago and first bought some online through Coinbase.com when the price was $28.
Sometimes I visit the bitcoin and bitcoin-otc channels on IRC.

You may always send me your unwanted Bitcoins to 15EzUDaVywJBVBmnQHSpt5N2inbLkyEMKX

Hi, just started mining.  So far I only have nvidia GPU's; that is about to change by friday cause i just a hd7790!

I am really concerned about the affects asiacs will have on the bitcoin ecosystem.

Yeah, that hit me in the face when I upgraded my ATI card to a shiny new GeForce 660 Ti. In games, it's awesome. In hashrate... Damn. And I sold my ATI card to a friend to finance my GeForce, too. Good thing he hasn't come to pick it up yet. =P

As for ASICs... Yeah, difficulty is starting to skyrocket, so GPU mining is getting harder. However, market price is also climbing, so it's still profitable to mine - for me, anyway. YMMV, depending on how costly electricity is around your part of the world.

Power is pretty cheap here in NC.  I think i am paying around 0.07 a kw

Hello I've been following BTC for 1.5 years on and off. Seriously for the last 7 months. I mine with a simple radeon hd5850 but looks like I need to go ASIC fast! I'm a computer nerd and entrepreneur at heart.

I've been looking for a think tank of people who would love to conceptualize an idea and execute. I have some ideas that would involve Bitcoin and some that don't.
I'm just looking for cool people interested in seeing Bitcoin grow across the world immensely. I love all aspects of this currency. I am hopeful for a future free from the chains of a few powerful men. I believe the Bitcoin community will flourish once we have even more validation by mainstream outlets. Can we have a little "kum bi ya" please? haha

hi everybody,

I'm from germany and highly interested in most btc topics.

I'm looking primarily for ways to invest some coins at the moment and this looks to be a good place for a start.

any hints regarding that search? always gladfull about help.

have a nice evening,
shitaifan

If you can't easily get money into an exchange, getting a few coins from LocalBitCoins might be a good way of doing that. =)

Hello there. I am W-M, and I am an 18-jear old student and musician. Besides making music I love interesting concepts. I stumbled across Bitcoin about a year and a half ago. Because I didn't have any money back then I didn't buy any of them however.
Of course I'm mad now at myself for not buying any, because the price of the bitcoins rose so much. Besides making music I am also a web developer as well as knowing my way around in Vector-based image programs.

Hello BTC world!

I live in Texas, USA, and have been consumed lately by the Bitcoin system  Smiley

Silly that I didn't get involved earlier, considering how much background I have with Public Key cryptography... oh well, better late than never.

Looking forward to communicating with you all!

FYI, I'm currently interested in meeting up with people who run mining rigs in the Central TX area (Austin, San Antonio, DFW & Houston).  And possibly investing/partnering -- I've purchased my share of Bitcoins (& spend them where I can), yet I envision a  bright future with mining as well, and would like to get started now rather than just sitting on an ASIC waiting list. Wink

Bitcoin rocks, and this is a great forum - glad to be a part of it finally.
