Hi,

I'm Jaime.

Hi, I joined this site because I am mining bitcoins. I recently made an investment on a website called www.glbse.com and they have taken all my money and closed their doors. I saw a post on this site about what is going on and wanted to see when I will get my money back.

Well, hello there! I haven't really been lurking 'round these parts all that long, and I have only started using Bitcoin for a few days now. I remember a time when I took Bitcoin out for a spin and getting absolutely nowhere, so I'm looking to change things up with revisiting the currency. Bitcoin is a darned interesting concept; it exists, but it isn't necessarily tangible (of course, excluding physical bitcoins... of which I'm not familiar with/interested about). While I'm not the person that would be able to mine Bitcoins at a steady, worthwhile rate... There's so many different sites that cater to mining, gambling, gaming, etc. that essentially help you gradually earn spare virtual change, even without the ability to mine the currency yourself! For an unemployed student like me, such an opportunity cannot wait to be seized!

I look forward to integrating into the intriguing realm of Bitcoin; it'll be a wild ride for sure.

Hey all,
Been learning about Bitcoin for the past 8 months or so.  I modified an existing system and mined some coins over the summer.  Also invested in a Jalepeno so I guess I'll be around for a while.  Nice to meet you all.

Hi all,

LONG time lurker and I'm just getting the newbie induction stuff completed so I can also join the rank and file of whiners/preachers/shills/scammers/fine people  Kiss

Been mining since CPU mining was the norm. I havn't mined for profit - just as a hobby (but still making a few bucks here and there). Where I live the electricity has gotten VERY expensive over the past few years so FPGAs and ASICs are now what I am using/pre-ordering.

Hey Community  Cheesy,

I have been involved in bitcoin for my first month now and have found it very interesting and fun. Finally got myself setup on the forums that I have been eagerly reading and investigating through the last few weeks.

Very excited about developments, technologies, places to spend bitcoins, investments and all that. Good Fun.

Wish when I read about it a year or so ago i actually got involved in it sooner!

Hope to make some friends and chat to some interesting people about bitcoin'ness and its potential etc

 Grin

Hello, Here to learn more and see how Bitcoins can be integrated into my business. Hoping to learn a lot and be useful by providing coin bullion on many different levels back to the community as investments of numismatics.

Hello I'm sangaman. Very interested in bitcoins and cryptocurrencies in general. I have a CS degree although I just barely understand some of the more technical aspects of bitcoins.

I wish I'd done more research before opening my wallet, though, as I was over-eager at first to get some bitcoins and was scammed for $16.50 by a scammer on Bitcoinary.com. The scammer's info is as follows (let me know if there's a place that collects this kind of info):

Name: Gavin Eros
Facebook: http://en-gb.facebook.com/gavin.eros
Mobile Number: 818-404-7412 (I called this number and he answered)
E-mail: [email protected] (although I suspect he uses multiple)
Account Number: 000000476021212
Routing Number: 122100024 (Chase Bank)

Don't be naive/greedy like me and be very careful who you trust. Also stay away from Bitcoinary, it seems they put almost no effort into preventing scams or punishing scammers. I reported the scam to them almost a week ago but haven't even gotten a respose.

Sorry to hear you got scammed. Head over to http://bitcoin-otc.com/ and build up your rep by buying small at first.
