Hey guys (and gals),

I remember hearing about bitcoins a while ago, and I never really gave it much thought. I read an article the other day that got me interested in getting started in bitcoins, so here I am. I have a few things I'd like to put up for sale, along with design services (Did I mention I'm a Graphic Designer?)...once these newbie limits are lifted. Seems like a nice community, so I'm glad to be aboard!

I came here interested in BTC Mining, but there seems to be a wealth of information on just about everything relating to the currency.  It's nice to meet all of you!

Hi everyone. Chronos00 here.

I have been passionately reading about bitcoins since the gawker article, from last june. I am trully astonished about the potential of bitcoin, and the vission Satoshi Nakamoto had to device such a revolutionary project. I perfectly understand why he needed to remain anonymous. Lets hope he is still fine, and can see this project fully blossom.

While I wait the 4 hours to upgrade my status out of a newbie, I would like to ask you all: how have you got your hand on your bitcoins? I am looking for answers other than "by mining", because that is not really an option now, and will probably never be an option again (unless you want to make a full scale business out of it).

whats the simplest, quickest and safest way to get bitcoins? Keep in mind I live outside the US (Argentina, more precisely), and can not buy moneypacks.
Regards!

Can you get USD? I will send you some. I have plenty.

Also Hello to all I'm Joshwaa!! I currently run a 7.1GHash/s farm running for BTCGuild! Glad to help anyone. Also Love the 7970's and Diablominer! Wow..

My name is....well lets just say I'm an advocate for sound money and a believer in the Austrian school of economics...Anyways i'm glad to be apart of your community and will be happy to talk politics and economics on here as that is my area of expertise and I'm hoping in exchange that I can learn some technical things about how bitcoin works and getting my miners running as efficiently as possible... I don't want to make money(it would be nice)but i'm more interested in how this will collectively help society as a whole and am interested in starting a non-profit bitcoin venture...

What's up with guiminer? After rebooting today after a couple weeks without a reboot the thing stopped submitting shares. Reverted to v2011-07-01 and it's working again, but a little slower.
