I am little late to introduce myself because I have been (un)active member over 5 months.
Anyway I want to post also to other threads, so I say this:

I like to stay anonymous. Not because I have something to hide, I just like it that way. Just like an Bitcoin transaction. Nobody cares who sent it, as long it has been sent and validated.

I live in a cold country and part of my apartment is not so chilly because bitcoin PC pushes 1 Kw heat. Electricity is expensive here, around 0.2 USD/Kwh so this time my rig is only an very expensive electric heater. Profitability at 3$/BTC is about breakeven. It saves my cranky old back from heating the fireplace so often. Making firewood is not an joy anymore either with my broken bones.

However the great possibilties Bitcoin offers & really interesting developments continuosly makes me feel that bitcoin can be more than a feeble attempt to take part of monetary control back to people themselves.

Some would say now that people who trust Bitcoin rather than US dollar or Euro are madmen, time will see. Personally I rather believe in Mathematics and Utopia than be a puppy dog of governments, banks and politicians who act like a bermuda's triangle or self eating cannibal monetarywise. People work, think, breed and hope for better future. Bitcoin could be an essential part of that future.

Allow myself to introduce... myself.

Newbie here. Just lurking for build advice. I have access to cheap electricity, so I'm hoping to get a couple rigs up and running soon.

Hi Jaxamercy here

Utilisng BTC for various transactions over the past 6 months. Starting to get a little annoyed at my exchange as they gone missing on me, but other than that I enoy the concept this currency has and am interested to see the how it fairs to general macro ecominc tirggers.

Hi
Couldn't see how to introduce myself - ie no obvious post button so thought I would just reply to start the ball rolling - BTW I am not a computer newbie and have been involved in "the user illusion" and computer interfaces for over 25 years Wink
