This is good condition that ETH not going up and you can invest into it at present market. Besides this you can do short trade by your investment. But if you buy ETH just for hold i think this is not fair for market because if everybody does like you market will not stable never ever. If you try to trade you will be more sound in trading and market will get help to stable.

I think if price goes more and reach over 200GBP the Ethereum is a good coin for investing, even if the price will not go to 1000GBP this year, the coin is one who can grow much higher then is now.
Of cause invest in the right coin is a good step to take Crypto, but this only be known by doing research on the coin, ethereum is one among few stable coin to invest in of which I believe the price will go up if not now but soonest.

You shouldn't expect the price to change immediately. Short, medium and long term.You need to prepare an investment plan. and never forget your patience
