It`s really hard to find ICOs which will be really successful, so it`s very risky to invest in ICO. What about bitcoin - it`s the most stable coin on the market and it`s high chances to get a nice profit of this. Also, you can try both. Choose wisely.

investing in an ICO does indeed look tempting with very good income and speculation, but currently there are very many ICOs that are scam, so it is very risky to invest in an ICO project. it will be safer if you invest in bitcoin

What I feel about buying bitcoin is difficult to get big profits, while the ICO is still a good and profitable thing, I'm sure that the ICO is the best way for big profits rather than buying bitcoin.

if you have a lot of capital invest your money for bitcoin 50%, ethereum 30%, coin ICO 20%. You can trade short and long term to maximize profits and don't forget to keep learning to increase knowledge and keep up with developments.

I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
It will soon be over and a new standard will be needed. But I do not think that humanity will agree to accept something virtual. It is very risky to move to the crypto standard during such growth of technologies.

Some public contracts can be translated into algorithms (financing of budgetary institutions, notary functions, vote counting). But some - will not work (political and military decision-making, diplomacy, the judicial system).

I do not even know whether to advise this in the current market situation. If you are not afraid of risk, then you can buy and invest. Moreover, I hope that the market will not fall further. But things can be different.

I found nowadays ICO investment no profitable. Price goes to down after end of ICO. Suppose "X" coin ICO price 0.50$, but after finished token sale when the coin listed any exchange then we saw price goes down less than 0.01$ or 0.05$ or something like that.
So nowadays bitcoin investment good I think.

Follow the reviews for a hint on your issue. It is recommended to place 70% of the bitcoin investment fund. for altcoin and ICO in the rest. Bitcoin is the focus of interest in this market. It still shows relatively stable stability and protection over the past few months. After that, you can still be assured with some altcoin and do not forget ICO has gradually shifted the trend to the long term. So, it will also create new markets.

since you are new to this i suggest sticking to bitcoin alone for now and slowly familiarizing yourself with the rest of them and then start first by investing in altcoins that already exist and finally move to higher risk investments such as ICOs.
i think this is a best way of getting involved with this market, slowly and with more caution.
I agree we must learn and then practice it gradually, crypto investments are at high risk, don't get the wrong steps that result in losses, as a start you can invest in bitcoin more safely, while learning to trade.

If I were you know , I could try atleast to hold bitcoin and invest to ICO . Yes, investing to Ico is very risky thing to do, but this can give a good profit the time that ico become successful . Buy bitcoin because bitcoin needs first to become stable before all the altcoins and cryptoworld become alive again.

It's not a black and white issue, indeed there are certainly better ways in which you can invest in both ICOs and BTC.  For example, invest in BTC then for the ICO, if the technical team looks committed to the project (Linked in etc profiles loudly showing their involvement in the project) and if the whole ICO looks very well organised like in MeVu ICO, then it probably means they are in the long haul.

Of course, you interested me in this project and I will definitely look at the information. But if we talk about investing in the ico company today, there is a very big risk in this, not only because of the large number of fraudsters in the company’s ico market, but because of the external cryptocurrency market situation.

both investment are good for new comer in crypto world, but both investment need for long term period hold, because i really do not recommend for every new comer in cryptocurrency investment who cant be patient to earn profit from it. Especially in this market situation, every crypto investment need for long term hold. Once you keep my word to hold your investment in long term period you it will return you much profit. And be very selective to which ICO you want to invest, many scammers out there who did everything to take advantages from new comer.

It is time to buy BTC and Undervalued Alts which price was dumped during last time.
BTC`s price is rather stable in last days: ~6500$. If I was you I would prefer to have 70% of Portfolio in BTC value.

I think that investing in ICO has always been profitable, just now the market is stagnating and everyone is waiting for its turn to actively develop their projects.
In 2017 and early 2018, investing in ICO will be profitable. But now we will definitely lose money when investing in ICOs. If we find a good ICO and invest in it, but its price will fall after listing at the exchange because the market is so bad and it causes everything to fall down. Now buy BTC, ETH or cheap altcoin and hold it better than investing in ICO

What Ico, what Bitcoin will not give you a monetary profit, you will still have to wait, only at different times. And most likely Bitcoin, it will give much faster than Ico, both in quantity and quality.
But now the market is falling and amidst difficult horizons, I find selecting a good ICO project for investment will give us higher profit than investment in BTC, because at present, BTC is standing. At the same time, they are unlikely to rise and the current market is declining. Maybe BTC will not give us higher profits.
